A Western-style restaurant located slightly towards Ueno from Yodobashi Akiba on Showa Street. They seem to be particular about their ingredients, using high-quality brand pork from Chiba prefecture. It's past peak hours but about half of the seats are filled. Since I'm alone, I sit at the counter and order the grilled pork loin plate. They have weekly specials but those are already sold out. A drink is included, so I ask for a vinegar drink for a healthier option. First, they bring out a bagna cauda and the drink. It's nice to have extra vegetables aside from the salad on the plate. The sauce is delicious and perfect for a light snack before the main dish arrives. The drink is refreshing and easy to drink. The plate also comes with soup and grilled shishito peppers next to the vegetables. The soup is quite protein-rich, but the vegetable side is good. The meat is on the lighter side, perhaps catering to the customer base. It's eaten with a ginger-infused soy sauce-based sauce for a refreshing taste. Overall, it feels healthy, which explains the higher number of female customers. If you want to get your veggies in, I recommend it.

Bistro "ZAKI" in Akihabara. This restaurant boasts rare domestic vegetables with Banhacauda and black wagyu beef cooked at low temperatures on a lava stone grill, as well as direct-from-the-farm vegetables and premium brand pork "Hayashi SPF Pork". The owner, Mr. Yamazaki, is known as "Bistro Zaki". The menu includes a variety of meats such as black wagyu beef, pork, lamb, and more. For lunch, you can choose from options like grilled pork loin plate, fried eggplant cheese curry plate, US beef sirloin steak plate, ZAKI-style stewed hamburger plate, chicken marinated in salt koji plate, and weekly lunch plate. Each lunch plate comes with mini Banhacauda, rice, and a drink. Unfortunately, the restaurant is closed on Mondays for lunch, but the service is considerate enough to let customers in before opening time when it's hot outside. I tried the marinated chicken plate and enjoyed the fresh Miura vegetables and delicious Banhacauda sauce. The mushroom sauté, spaghetti mayo salad, ham, and boiled egg were also tasty. The tender chicken breast marinated in salt koji with onion soy sauce was perfectly balanced with tomato and onion sweetness. The multigrain rice was chewy and delicious, and the complimentary rice refill was a nice touch. The meal ended with an iced coffee. The chef's curry, passed down from his father, is also worth a try. Overall, Bistro ZAKI is a peaceful oasis for office workers in Akihabara, offering a pleasant dining experience with friendly staff and a convenient location near Yodobashi Camera.

I really liked the cozy atmosphere of this small restaurant. The photo shows roasted pork and daikon radish in cream sauce. The roasted pork was cooked at low temperature and had a sophisticated taste. The daikon in cream sauce was delicious and quite unique. Each dish was of high quality and I was very satisfied. The service was a bit slow, possibly because it seemed to be run by just one person, but it was okay since it allowed me to leisurely enjoy my drinks.

My favorite roast pork was delicious! It was unlike any other pork I've ever eaten before! All the other dishes were also delicious, and they had unique sour drinks and a wide selection of wines. Just looking at the menu was enjoyable. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, with jazz music playing, which was unexpected for Akihabara. It was a hidden gem of a restaurant. I will definitely visit again!

When I think of Akihabara, I usually picture busy and mainstream shops and chain stores, so I had no idea there was a trendy restaurant like this hidden in the back streets. They specialize in roast pork made with a specific brand of pork. They also offer skewers, Western-style oden, and a variety of speed dishes and appetizers. Wait, they're running the whole place alone!? With this many items on the menu!? I followed the recommended items marked on the menu and tried them one by one. Even though it's just one person running the place, the service is fast! And the food is delicious! The highly recommended roast pork was incredibly tender with a rare meat quality (although it's not actually rare). I was very satisfied and felt like I got more than my money's worth. I don't often have the opportunity to visit Akihabara, but I would love to come back with friends for another meal!

Fried Eggplant Cheese Curry Plate for 990 yen Today, I had lunch in Akihabara. Before lunch, I was lucky to get Tan Stew from "TanSei" for takeout, which I will have for dinner. Then I visited a restaurant nearby. I entered with two colleagues at 11:43 am, with 4 customers already inside and 7 customers arriving after us. It was my first visit in about 2 years. The lunch menu included options like grilled pork loin plate for 1,100 yen, fried eggplant cheese curry plate for 990 yen (with hot spring egg for 1,070 yen), US sirloin steak plate for 1,400 yen, ZAKI-style simmered hamburger curry plate for 1,200 yen, salt koji-marinated tender chicken plate for 990 yen, and weekly special lunch for 1,150 yen (pork belly salt simmered plate lunch). I ordered the fried eggplant cheese curry plate and a hot coffee. Shortly after, a mini Bagna Cauda was served. While enjoying it, our order arrived in about 8 minutes. The toppings included green beans, quiche, boiled egg, lettuce, fried eggplant, and pickled red cabbage. The presentation was very neat, with a lot of vegetables, making it likely to appeal to female customers. The curry was not spicy at all, lacking a punch, so the taste felt a bit bland. The consomme soup was just delicious. The portion overall felt light, probably due to the many female customers. As a light eater, it was just right for me. I noticed that they use Lin SPF pork. Next time, I'll try a pork menu. After enjoying a coffee, I left the restaurant. It was a delicious meal. Visited for lunch on September 29, 2022 - Rating: 3.07

The daily lunch special (assorted fried foods) was sold out, so I ordered the hamburger lunch set. It comes with a drink and salad. The set is served on one plate with hamburger, rice, and salad. The hamburger is delicious, but personally, I found it a bit salty. The portion size is generous, so I think even adult men would be satisfied.

Avocado Roast Beef Bowl with Salad and Drink for 1,000 yen. The salad portion was generous and lovely. It's impressive that a drink is included. There were many female customers. The roast beef was tender and delicious. The only downside was that water wasn't served unless requested. They will be raising prices starting September 5th.

Heading north from Akihabara Station, towards the Showa-dori exit, I found a stylish yet welcoming open-style bar tucked away in a side street. I had been curious about this place for a while, so I decided to visit for lunch. They had a daily recommendation, so I went with that. It was a roast beef bowl of some sort, though I've always felt that roast beef doesn't pair well with rice. It's tasty, but the lean meat and rice connected by sauce can be a bit bland. When the roast beef bowl arrived, I was surprised to find corned beef hidden beneath the roast beef. Ah, that's a clever move. Using the fat and sauce from the corned beef to enhance the typically lean red meat. The aroma of fried onions added a nice touch. This innovation is quite impressive. I'm not sure if it was borrowed from elsewhere or created here, but it overcomes the fatal flaw of the traditional roast beef + rice combination. I'm looking forward to trying it for dinner as well. It was delicious and I even learned something! Thank you for the meal!

This small restaurant always has a long line during lunchtime. The salad plate is always piled high with leaves, giving a satisfying feeling after eating. While there are many types of meat plates available, the main choice seems to be the roast beef. I decided to try the pork sauté for 950 yen. The pork sauté, served with warm vegetables like pumpkin and lotus root, was incredibly tender, almost like nothing I've ever had before. Perhaps it was cooked at a low temperature? Not only was it tender, but I could also taste the sweetness of the meat's fat. The onion sauce was just right, not too spicy. The rice was a colored multigrain rice, which unfortunately was a bit too firm. I tried getting a refill, but it was still firm. The staff's customer service was excellent. Despite the small space, the turnover rate is good, and the service is pleasant. I highly recommend this place for lunch in Akihabara.

I made a reservation for lunch and arrived, but the restaurant quickly filled up with customers. The entrance was open, and the place had a stylish bar-like atmosphere. There were partitions at the counter, but not at the table seats. I ordered the higher quality roast beef, which was delicious. However, the rice was dry and yet sticky, which was disappointing. The level of customer service was also lacking, so I don't think I'll be going back again.

I visited for the second time, following last week's visit. Last time I had roast beef bowl, but this time I had the Thick-Cut Pork Ginger. As always, plenty of vegetables, delicious warm soup, and the main dish of ginger pork was soft and chewy with a perfect ginger sauce. In addition, various warm vegetables were served alongside the salad. All of this for only 900 yen, including coffee! My colleagues and business partners who ate with me also enjoyed it, saying "this is delicious." It's truly a wonderful restaurant. I hope they continue to maintain their current level without lowering their standards. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, alcohol was not available, but I couldn't resist the urge to try the beautiful dishes I saw online, so I made a reservation and visited the restaurant. It is a cozy place located in a back alley a little away from the station, making it a great spot for a date. Upon arrival, I found a small restaurant with counter and table seating options. They offered a few set menus to choose from, so my companion and I each ordered a different set. From the appetizers to the soup and main course, every dish was visually appealing and delicious. Although alcohol was not served, I was intrigued to try other items on the menu. The location of the restaurant is a bit secluded, but it provides a quiet and enjoyable dining experience. I look forward to visiting again.

Avocado and Roast Beef Bowl (1,000 yen) *I visited a restaurant called "ZAKI," which opened near the headquarters in Akihabara. It caught my attention, so I decided to check it out. *It seems like a steak and meat-focused restaurant at night, and the lunch menu also emphasizes meat. I chose the new menu item, Avocado and Roast Beef Bowl. ・Avocado and Roast Beef Bowl ・Plenty of vegetable salad ・Soup ・Drink, all for just 1,000 yen *The generous serving of salad is great for someone living alone, and the soup is delicious. I wonder if they use meat broth in it. *The quality and quantity of the roast beef are impressive! The meat is tender and juicy, and really delicious! There are three types of sauce drizzled over different parts of the meat, but I think balsamic is my favorite. The rice underneath the meat is not just plain white rice, maybe it's cooked with a little soup like risotto? *The combination with avocado may not have the best sauce, and the avocado itself may not be necessary. But the roast beef itself is so delicious that I felt very satisfied with this dish. *Thank you for the meal! I look forward to trying other menu items in the future!

ZAKI's Meat Meat Bowl (Roast Beef, Koshizuka Corned Beef) 1,200 yen Today, I visited "Tan Kiyoshi" near the office to get some takeout Tan Stew, but they were sold out right in front of me. (>_<) So, I decided to go to a nearby restaurant for lunch instead. I entered the restaurant at 11:33 am, with one customer already inside and four more coming in after me. The lunch menu options were: A. Domestic Vegetables and Wagyu Steak (limited to 15 servings) 1,000 yen B. Keema Curry with Lots of Vegetables 900 yen C. Thick-cut Pork Loin Pork Ginger 850 yen D. Beef Stew in a Hot Iron Pot (made with Wagyu tendon) 850 yen E. ZAKI's Meat Meat Bowl (Roast Beef, Koshizuka Corned Beef) 1,200 yen You can also choose from various drinks, and I ordered a hot coffee. I chose ZAKI's Meat Meat Bowl with Koshizuka Corned Beef. After placing my order, a large plate with plenty of salad and soup arrived in about 4 minutes. The eggplant stew, macaroni pasta, and salty soup were all delicious. The salad was quite satisfying. About 8 minutes later, the main dish, the Meat Meat Bowl, arrived. The bowl was filled with plenty of lettuce, an onsen tamago, Koshizuka Corned Beef, and four large slices of roast beef. The Koshizuka Corned Beef was juicy with every bite, and the roast beef slices were so big that it was hard to eat in one bite. I ended up cutting them into smaller pieces to eat. After finishing, I enjoyed a cup of coffee. It was a delicious meal. Thank you for the great lunch experience on October 29, 2020.

I happened to receive a pamphlet while passing by and decided to visit the restaurant later. It has a cozy atmosphere with stylish furniture and interior decor. It is recommended for dates or business dinners. The main dish, a lava stone grilled three-point platter, is cut into easy-to-eat pieces. There is also a wide variety of drinks available. The pasta I ordered, "Beef Stew Fresh Pasta," had a rich flavor and the sauce was so delicious that I wanted to finish it by soaking it up with bread. It was a luxurious meal!

I stumbled upon a newly opened dining establishment on August 21, and impulsively decided to try it out. It turned out to be a great find. The lunch offers great value for money, as every dish comes with a salad, soup, and a drink. The food was well-prepared, with a delicious grilled Japanese beef steak served with an assortment of locally grown vegetables. The staff were lively, and I have a feeling this place will become quite popular. Although I didn't notice it inside, it seems that the restaurant is operated by Doutor Coffee.
