I live nearby but rarely have the opportunity to visit Tsukiji Market for the first time. Today, I went to Tsukijiya and ordered a Hokkaido bowl, a sea urchin and salmon roe bowl, bottled beer, and nigiri sushi including medium fatty tuna, sardine, and seared salmon. The Hokkaido bowl had great value! The scallops and shrimp were delicious, and there was a generous amount of sea urchin and salmon roe. The sea urchin and salmon roe bowl also had a generous amount and was excellent.

Located in Tsukiji Market, this sushi and seafood bowl restaurant always has a long line from early in the morning. However, they have a covered area where you can wait. I visited and waited for about 15-20 minutes. There were many foreign customers as well. I ordered the maguro bowl for 2970 yen. I was torn between that and the seafood bowl, but the maguro looked so delicious. Both the lean and fatty tuna were really tasty.

Reasonably priced with a great selection of sushi, this sushi restaurant offers excellent value for money. We were approached outside the restaurant and decided to sit at the counter. The fresh tuna with uni and ikura was a great deal at this price! The negitoro was also delicious. If you plan on trying other places outside the market, this amount is perfect.

The fish, shrimp, and sea urchin were very fresh and delicious. Despite being located in Tsukiji Market, the waiting time was not that long. Maybe it's not that well-known. However, the food and dining experience were great. I recommend it to everyone. Please give it a try.

My husband and I visited Tsukiji for a couple's trip. We wanted to eat sushi, of course. We usually only go to conveyor belt sushi restaurants, so going to a proper sushi restaurant makes me nervous. It's nice that this place has a casual atmosphere that makes it easy to enter. I couldn't decide between sushi and seafood bowl, but ended up choosing the seafood bowl. It was loaded with big raw shrimp, tuna, eel, squid, salmon roe, and more. The fatty sweetness of the tuna belly was so delicious. The eel was also soft and amazing. It's nice to indulge in such luxury once in a while.

Four of us girls had a sleepover, so we thought we could just go to Tsukiji in the morning and figure something out!! But we totally underestimated it... It was a Sunday, so I thought the market would be closed, but it turns out mornings in Tsukiji are early! The places we had in mind had long lines ((;OдO)) It was a pretty cold day, so we were thinking we'd rather be inside a restaurant~ In the midst of that, there was a welcoming restaurant that had just opened, saying they had seats available! So we didn't hesitate and went there! We ordered the clearly popular set. And since we were there, we also ordered some beer. It was still only 8:30, but in about 10 minutes, the sushi was served, with big pieces and delicious taste! The miso soup with the shrimp head was visually impressive. The coldness was gone, and our bodies were warmed up with the beer and the food~ Even though I'm not sure if the 1000 yen discount made the 2970 yen worth it, having sushi and beer in Tsukiji in the morning created a good memory for us, so it's all good! Thank you for the meal~♪

Had a Tsukiji lunch at Tsukijiya-san. The sushi and seafood bowl were both fresh and delicious. Why is seafood so good? #Tsukijiya #Tsukiji #TsukijiGourmet #Seafood #SeafoodBowl #SushiLunch #Sushi #TokyoGourmet

I took my mother to Tsukiji. I wanted sushi, while my mother wanted a seafood bowl. We saw a flyer that said "¥1,000 off" and decided to give it a try since there wasn't much of a line. We sat at a special table near the entrance, with two stoves to keep us warm outside. The sushi was really delicious. Whenever I come to Tsukiji, I can't help but remember the amazing sushi here and keep coming back. Each piece of sushi, the vinegared rice, the miso soup - everything was delicious.

I visited during lunchtime. I decided to sit at the counter seat. I ordered the Number One Sushi Set. It was nice to have a miso soup with it. The sushi tasted average. But the miso soup with a shrimp broth was delicious! Almost all customers paid with PayPay. The staff seemed really confused when I used points and cash to pay, haha.

I don't think I will go again. I passed by the store at 12:40 on a weekday and a staff member with a disability handing out flyers called out to me. They said they were offering a 1000 yen discount, so I believed the flyer and went in. I was able to enter without waiting in line. However, there were some changes in the menu due to procurement issues, and they didn't have sea urchin and scallops, but instead replaced them with eel and squid. Originally priced at 3500 yen, it was now 2500 yen before tax and 2750 yen after tax, with squid and eel instead of sea urchin and scallops. The quality of the ingredients was good, but the disappointment affected the overall rating. I wonder about this kind of business practice.

On October 1, 2022 (Saturday) at 9:56 (time of entry), after visiting Tsukiji Honganji Temple, I went to Tsukiji Outer Market for a late breakfast and ended up at this restaurant where an old man handed me a flyer and led me in with a 1000 yen discount offer. When I tried to order the popular No. 1 dish, they told me they were out of "uni" (sea urchin) and suggested I try the No. 2 dish instead. So, I ordered the No. 2 dish for 2310 yen (including tax) even though it didn't have scallops or fatty tuna. The tuna was rich and delicious! The steamed sea bream was also tasty! Thank you for the delicious meal. At the time of payment, there was a hiccup with the register and I ended up getting a receipt.

I made a reservation for a counter seat for lunch and arrived 10 minutes early. There were two men in front of the restaurant actively trying to attract customers, which made me feel uneasy. The prices were inflated, and they had changed the menu items like sea urchin to conger eel, and scallops to squid. When I mentioned that I had a reservation for three people, they told me the restaurant was still full and to come back at the exact reservation time. I wandered around and returned right on time. The men who were trying to attract customers earlier were gone, and the restaurant was bustling with waiting customers. A female staff member came out of the restaurant, so I told her again that I had a reservation, and she asked me to wait. Looking around the restaurant, I saw that both the counter and tables were full. Just when I thought there was no way they could accommodate us, the woman came out again and asked if we wanted to sit at the counter. I confirmed, and she asked us to wait a little longer. After the woman went back inside, she started moving customers from the counter to tables. When she came out again, she said there was a seat available and took our order. We waited in the scorching sun and finally entered the restaurant 15 minutes after the reservation time. The chefs were making a large amount of food quickly. I wanted to order fresh oysters, but I was worried they might be out of stock. In the end, they were out of stock, so I couldn't order them. Thirty minutes after the reservation time, the seafood bowl we ordered finally arrived. It looked good, and I had high expectations, but the taste was just average. The rice was dry, the sea bream had bones, and the crab was watery. The portion was large, making it difficult to finish. The egg and miso soup were delicious and comforting. I'm not writing this to complain, as I could see the restaurant staff were working hard, but if they can't manage reservations properly, they should consider changing their reservation system. I don't feel like going back there again. If you want to eat seafood in Tsukiji, I recommend trying other places.

I had some business at Tsukiji early in the morning and attended a company meeting online with my smartphone on the way. It was already around 11:00 am on Friday and I hadn't even had breakfast yet. As I was walking back home, I passed by Tsukiji Outer Market and heard a lively voice of a chef. He showed me a flyer advertising a sushi set that seemed like a great deal. The popular No.1 sushi course priced at 3,500 yen was discounted to 2,500 yen and you could also get a 20% cashback with PayPay. It was too good to pass up, especially since I hadn't eaten breakfast yet. I sat at a terrace seat and ordered the No.1 sushi set as advertised on the flyer. The set included Otoro, Chutoro, Sea Bream, Amberjack, Snow Crab, Scallop, Shrimp, Sea Urchin, Salmon Roe, and Egg. It also came with miso soup and a Toro roll. The Otoro was amazing, almost no sinew and a perfect piece of sushi that instantly lifted my spirits. The Sea Urchin was also impressive, and the squid's knife skills were excellent. I felt like ordering a beer to go along with it, but I had several intense meetings scheduled for the afternoon so I refrained and just enjoyed the sushi. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and price. I highly recommend trying this place. Thank you for the delicious meal. I will definitely come back!

I lined up at the usual Kagura Sushi and saw a long line, so I wandered around. I overheard a serious-looking man explaining to his family, so I decided to line up closer to the front. It seemed like they were doing a switch, so I was able to get in quickly! I called my son, who was waiting in line at Kagura Sushi, and suggested sitting on the terrace, which turned out to be a good idea. The terrace was spacious and it was better than sitting inside. There were some items sold out, but the sushi arrived quickly and the service was efficient. The prices were reasonable, and I ended up having a luxurious lunch, even drinking sake. The taste was decent and I was very satisfied!

Outside Tsukiji Market. The lively and energetic Tsukiji Market outside has returned to its former bustle. On this day, I was drawn in by a flyer I received while passing by a shop advertising a 1000 yen discount, and decided to enter. There are outdoor seats set up in front of the shop, which must be nice on sunny days. I chose to sit at the counter inside. I was guided to a seat at the counter that extends towards the back, with about 8 seats in total. The menu includes No. 1 sushi for 3500 yen reduced to 2500 yen, No. 2 for 3100 yen reduced to 2100 yen. No. 4 is a Hokkai don for 2600 yen, No. 5 is a tuna don for 2500 yen, and No. 7 is a seafood don for 2500 yen. All prices are excluding tax. This time, I ordered "No. 2". It arrived in about 5 minutes, neatly lined up on the geta (wooden sandals). The sushi rice was not seasoned, so you have to dip it in the soy sauce provided. The sushi was of a standard size and the fish was decent. The miso soup had a rich shrimp flavor. The young female proprietor was very friendly and provided pleasant service. The lunch is offered at a discount as a gesture from the owner, with a 1000 yen discount. It seems that credit cards are accepted for lunch orders over 5000 yen. (Visit rating: 3.46)

During lunchtime on holidays, there were long lines forming at several sushi restaurants. We were able to successfully get into a popular restaurant near the one we were aiming for. I think the reason for its lunchtime popularity is its cost performance. I recommend going early on weekends prepared for a line.

The taste is not bad. I was called in by a tout. The sashimi was fresh, especially the medium fatty tuna melted in my mouth. The raw oysters were also quite big and satisfying. The seafood bowl looked impressive and had a good amount of food. However, the miso soup lacked flavor. The total bill for two people was just under 10,000 yen, which was okay for lunch. When I asked for change at the end, I was refused. Hmm, they could have at least given me change, so I left the restaurant feeling disappointed.

I was wandering around Tsukiji looking for a place to grab a bite to eat, and stumbled upon this restaurant that I hadn't tried before. It's not a high-end sushi place, but more like a mid-range option. The prices are not cheap, but reasonable considering the quality of the sushi. I ordered a seafood bowl for 2500 yen, and the sushi I tried was delicious.

I'm not sure if it's always like this or if it's due to the new model, but there is a menu with a 1,000 yen discount. I had a 2,500 yen sushi set with the discount. The fish seemed fresh. It was neither good nor bad, just average.

I visited for breakfast. The place is located in the southern area of Tsukiji Outer Market. The restaurant has a fairly clean sushi restaurant atmosphere. I ordered the most popular set, and they kindly changed the sushi I didn't like. The sushi was delicious with fresh ingredients. Not only the sushi was delicious, but I also had a fun time chatting with the chef. He was friendly and seemed very used to dealing with tourists. The cost performance is also good, so I recommend this restaurant when you visit Tsukiji Outer Market.
