Tokyo Gourmet Exploration! Minato-ku, Akasaka Mitsuke Edition Specialty, fresh oysters from over 10 varieties! "Ostrea Oyster & Restaurant" First Visit! On a pleasant autumn day with cloudy weather, a perfect day to go on a gourmet tour with good friends. Invited by a group of friends, we made a detour to Akasaka Mitsuke on our way to the meetup. Just a 30-second walk from Akasaka Mitsuke Station, we found a stylish, modern restaurant with a glass exterior. They always have over 10 types of fresh oysters from around the world available, along with dishes like ajillo, gratin, and oyster dishes at reasonable prices. We ordered a platter of 6 oysters for ¥3000. We also ordered oyster ajillo and oyster uni butter. As a welcome gift for being LINE friends, we received a complimentary glass of champagne. The oysters were rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of oceanic taste. The ajillo was sizzling hot and delicious, while the oyster uni butter had a great combination of uni and butter flavors. The fresh oysters and oyster dishes were reasonably priced and definitely worth a visit. I look forward to trying more of their excellent dishes next time. It's been a while since we had an oyster party. We gathered in Akasaka to celebrate a friend's second child with fresh oysters at an Osteria. The location is great, just a 2-3 minute walk from Akasaka Mitsuke Station, and the quality of the oysters is guaranteed to be excellent. We started with a toast with Heartland beer, and the fine bubbles added to the experience. The appetizer was a clear soup made with oyster broth, seaweed, and oysters, a perfect start with concentrated flavors. I wanted to have seconds. - Hirota Bay oysters: the most delicate of the three types. A refreshing taste to start with. - Milk oysters: a balance of richness and freshness. A bit sweeter than the Hirota Bay oysters. - Teshima oysters: the sweetest of the three types. A strong flavor and a firmer texture. - Oki Hikari (large rock oyster): surprisingly large and flavorful. The contrast in texture was excellent, with a firm and flavorful meat. - OSTREA Bagna Cauda: a variety of vegetables with an original oyster and spinach sauce, sweet and fresh. Oyster dishes platter: - Fried oysters: juicy with oyster broth overflowing. Delicious with salt, lemon, spicy sauce, and homemade tartar sauce. - Gratin: creamy with a different flavor profile from raw oysters, thanks to the cheese. - Garlic butter grilled: fragrant and perfectly cooked, great with drinks. - Grass-fed beef sirloin steak: high-quality meat, tender and flavorful with rosemary, salt, and pepper. - Oyster and shiso risotto: aromatic with Parmigiano-Reggiano and shiso, with hidden oysters adding a chewy and flavorful element. - Gâteau au Chocolat: rich and slightly bitter, balanced with powdered sugar and whipped cream. - OSTREA Bianco: a PB wine that pairs well with oysters, dry and crisp. - Coffee: a perfect end to the meal, with a deep roasted flavor and mild bitterness. I had never been to this restaurant in Akasaka Mitsuke before, but the experience exceeded my expectations. The service was great, and the freshness, taste, and variety of oysters were impressive. They also had a good selection of drinks. I will definitely come back here whenever I crave oysters in Tokyo.

Located right by Akasaka Mitsuke, with great access. We started with 6 pieces of fresh oysters, each with a unique flavor that filled our mouths with the taste of the sea. The variety of oysters and grilled dishes was impressive, and the pasta and risotto were delicious too! Although the desserts looked tempting, we were too full to try them... One slight disappointment was that the first drink and subsequent beverages were served slowly. The wines didn't quite match our tastes, and the value for money wasn't the best. Also, some recommended dishes were already sold out by 7 o'clock, which was a shame. We indulged in about 15 oysters, satisfying our craving for them completely.

I had some business in Akasaka and visited this restaurant. I made a reservation through their website for a course that included fresh oysters for 390 yen per person, and went with a friend. The spacious interior of the restaurant allows for a relaxing dining experience. Today, there were 7 different types of fresh oysters from all over Japan available. They were served gradually, starting from light and refreshing flavors to rich and creamy ones. We were able to savor the deliciousness of oysters in various ways, from small but flavorful ones to those with a distinctive salty taste, and even creamy oysters. It was a new and enjoyable experience to discover that fresh oysters, not just rock oysters, can be so delightful. The food menu was also extensive, and we ordered oyster and shiso risotto, garlic shrimp, and fresh fish carpaccio. But the highlight was definitely the oysters! They were delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

This was my first time visiting. Located on the lively street of Akasaka-Mitsuke, the interior had a casual cafe-like atmosphere. As it is an oyster bar, you can enjoy a wide variety of domestic and international oysters. In addition to oyster dishes, there were also meat dishes available. I heard they have branches in Shinjuku as well, so I plan to visit again!

I have been to Shibuya and Shinjuku 3-chome before, but this was my first time at the Akasaka branch! It was the season for rock oysters, so I enjoyed oysters from Goto and Itojima. It's a bit disappointing that some items were sold out and I couldn't try them. Also, be careful not to overeat as rare oysters can cost around 1000 yen each! The other oyster dishes were delicious as well.

I went to an oyster bar in Akasaka Mitsuke! I enjoyed various oysters from different regions while sipping on wine. Not being very knowledgeable about wine, I asked the staff for recommendations and ended up trying two bottles of white wine from Austria and France (I forgot the names). Both were easy to drink and refreshing, and I enjoyed them in a stylish atmosphere. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

First Oyster Bar! From fresh oysters to baked with breadcrumbs, oyster fry, and risotto... I feel like I've eaten my share of oysters this season. The bill was quite high because I went with friends who eat a lot, but if you eat normally, it would be around 10,000 yen... They often have half-price oyster sales, so it seems like a good deal if you can go on those days!

I wanted to eat oysters, so I decided to go to Oysteria for the first time in a while. They have a special offer from 5 pm to 7 pm where you can reserve through their official website and get selected live oysters for only 390 yen each! It's a really great deal, so I made a reservation! First, I tried the live oysters, which I usually like with lemon. I also tried them with wine vinegar and ponzu sauce. My favorite was the Kohnagai oyster, which has a high amino acid content and a superb sweetness and umami flavor. The other types were Takuya Kaki, which has a hint of seaweed aroma, Edomae Oyster Sanbaitai "Sounatsu," which is firm and meaty with a rich flavor, Yamada Bay M, which is large and has a strong seaweed aroma with a good balance of flavor, Tsuda U Kaki, which is small and sweet, and Sakakoshi Kaki, which has a lingering sweetness with each bite. I loved the Kohnagai oysters so much that I ordered more! I recommend telling the staff your preferences for the best selection. I also tried the red snapper carpaccio, white liver pate, small shrimp ajillo, and tomato cream pasta with crab, which I highly recommend! The rich tomato cream and crab go so well together! The food was delicious, with a strong flavor that goes well with alcohol. The cost performance may not be the best, but if you want to eat fresh and delicious food, this is the place to go. The oysters were delicious and there were many different types to enjoy, as expected from an oyster bar. The small dishes were also tasty. It was nice that they offered a large portion option for pasta! The service from the staff was warm and we had a pleasant dining experience.

The selection of oysters is outstanding. The prices are about 1.5 times higher than other oyster bars, but the quality is exceptional. They offer oysters from various regions, from Iwate in the north to Nagasaki in the south. However, the staff's pushy sales pitch for the meat dish at the end was a bit overwhelming.

I really wanted to eat fresh oysters, so my mind was filled with thoughts of oysters since the night before. I managed to hold off until around 8:00 PM the next day when I finally went to meet the oysters I had been craving. I entered the restaurant and immediately placed my order: a 6-piece oyster platter for 3000 yen, a garlic toast for 480 yen, and a dish of brussels sprouts and camembert cheese in garlic oil for around 1000 yen. First, I indulged in the fresh oysters that I had been longing for since the night before. They were so delicious, with their creamy and plump texture dancing in my mouth. Next, the brussels sprouts and camembert cheese dish arrived along with the garlic toast. The combination was perfect! However, the garlic toast was a bit too hot for my sensitive tongue. After finishing my meal and feeling content, I left the restaurant. As I was leaving, the staff apologized for the limited selection of oysters that day, but I reassured them that it was not a problem at all. I thanked them and promised to come back again. It was a delightful experience to enjoy such delicious food today.

If you're dining alone at the first place and then get invited by sisters at the next table to go to a second place, but it's hard to find a place open in Akasaka on weekends. The town seems really deserted. Despite that, the younger sister insisted that the oysters at Ostrea are thoroughly managed and safe to eat, so we decided to go there. We missed the oyster happy hour until 5 pm, so we ordered at regular price. We started with some bubbly because we love sparkling wine. And some appetizers and the target oysters. We were served a soup with a hint of seaweed aroma as a complimentary dish. It was a cold day, so it was a nice warm treat. The salty flavor was perfect with a light drink. The target oysters were small but delicious. Fresh oysters are like a drink, right? Once you fork them out of the shell, they slide down easily with a taste of the sea and creaminess. It was pure happiness. We kept adding sparkling wine and chatting away. The female server would come with the glass and say, "Oops, I poured a bit too much." It was cute how she admitted her little mistake. I don't mind a little extra in my glass, bring it on. I've noticed that I can't handle as much alcohol as I used to, maybe it's my age or being a bit under the weather. Drinking less than these sisters, I think the older one kindly covered the bill. She might be a bit younger than me... Sorry and thank you for the treat.

I arrived around 7pm on Friday without a reservation and the place was almost full, but I was able to get a seat at the counter. I tried the 3,000 yen set menu, which was delicious. The milk pudding was very rich and tasty, and the pistachio creme brulee was also very delicious.

Three of us visited for the first time after 9 pm, and the restaurant was about half full. We ordered a bottle of white house wine, followed by a green salad and fresh oysters. We got a platter with 6 oysters, 2 of each size, all from Japan. The smaller ones were more flavorful, while the larger ones had a milky taste. Next, we had the tomato cream pasta with snow crab, which had a good balance of flavors and the crab broth was prominent. The pasta was cooked al dente and coated well. Lastly, we tried the red wine-braised beef brisket with garlic toast. It was decent, not dry, but not exceptionally delicious either. Overall, the meal was reasonably priced at around 5,000 yen per person.

After eating, I felt like having some fresh oysters as a closing dish, so I went to the restaurant. I had 3 pieces of raw oysters and 2 glasses of sparkling wine. I forgot to take a photo, but the oysters were fresh and delicious. I felt happy and satisfied. Thank you for the meal! I will definitely visit again.

Today, I visited "Ostrea" near Akasaka-Mitsuke station for lunch. I was looking for a place to have a casual lunch and saw a sign that caught my eye with pictures of hamburgers and steaks. I didn't hesitate to go in because the photos looked delicious. I had been to this restaurant before at night, where they served various types of oysters with alcohol, and I have fond memories of enjoying them. The interior of the restaurant has a large wine cooler and a nice atmosphere with dim lighting. Although I was initially drawn in by the photos of hamburgers, I ended up ordering the oyster set meal (laughs). Fried oyster set meal for 1,100 yen (tax included). The soup served with the salad had a seaweed aroma and a slightly strong saltiness, but you could strongly taste the seaweed, which was nice. The salad was lightly seasoned and fresh and crunchy. The fried oysters that followed were served generously with 8 pieces, each a good size and satisfying to eat. The tartar sauce was subtly seasoned, not too overpowering. Although rice was free to refill, I managed to finish the fried oysters without getting a refill on rice! The entrance of the restaurant had multiple types of oysters displayed on ice, looking delicious. It's been a while since I had raw oysters, they are good. I'll come back for dinner sometime. A colleague of mine recently went to the Ostelea Akasaka Mitsuke branch and was very satisfied with the all-you-can-eat fried oyster lunch set. I decided to go there myself, but when I arrived before 12 o'clock, I found out that the all-you-can-eat option had ended due to a menu change on August 29th. I ended up ordering the Cheddar Cheese Hamburg (with demi-glace sauce) for 1,430 yen. The set came with rice, salad, and soup, with free refills available for the rice, salad, and soup. The salad was colorful and the soup had seaweed in it. The 180g hamburger arrived about 15 minutes after ordering, but it wasn't very juicy and lacked a generous amount of Cheddar cheese and demi-glace sauce. The side dishes included fried potatoes, green beans, and corn. The rice portion was small. Overall, the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, but for the quality of the hamburger, the price seemed high. I might consider returning for the all-you-can-eat fried oysters during lunch, but for this price, there are better lunch options available in Akasaka. It was disappointing that the all-you-can-eat option was no longer available.

Enjoyed the "Demiglace Hamburger & Oyster Fry All-You-Can-Eat" at Osteria in Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo. The nearest station is Akasaka-Mitsuke Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and Marunouchi Line, about a 3-minute walk away. Visited during lunchtime. After ordering, the salad set arrived in about 4 minutes. Next up, the all-you-can-eat oyster fry. The freshly fried oyster fry was amazing! Shortly after, the demiglace hamburger arrived. On the hot plate was a 100% beef demiglace hamburger. It came with sweet corn and onion sauté as a side. Let's dig in! The 100% beef minced meat was cooked medium-rare, moist, and packed with the direct umami of beef. Perfectly matched with the demiglace sauce! And of course, enjoyed more oyster fry while savoring the hamburger! Then, unleashed the deadly combination of white rice! Finished it all in one go. Great value for lunch! Ended up eating a total of 60 oyster fries in the end.

I am a meat enthusiast, so I ordered the sirloin steak, which was only 1490 yen for lunch, and it was already a satisfying meal, but then they added all-you-can-eat fried oysters, making it the ultimate amazing lunch. They keep frying oysters continuously, so when you ask for more, they bring it to you right away. After finishing, they asked, "Would you like more?" I happily enjoyed the delicious fried oysters.
