On this day, the second stop was here! Fukuro Char Siu @ Nakano This is my second visit to Nakano! Visit date: 2023.07.14 (Fri) Cloudy 29°C After leaving the second generation martial artist from the first stop, we took a break and then headed to the second stop! Now heading to Fukuro Char Siu, supervised by Yatagarasu, opened in March 2023, and this is my second visit since my first visit in April 2023. Actually, I had a different shop in mind, but when I passed by this shop, I found a menu that caught my attention too much! That is this! "Whole Tomato Cold Chinese Noodles"! Limited menu using whole tomatoes is offered in various shops, but... due to timing, price, etc., I had never eaten it and it remained uneaten. I thought to myself, "I have encountered it!" and rescheduled to dive in! The location is about a 5-6 minute walk from Nakano Station. Arrival~♬ There seems to be seating available in the store! ~Entering the store~ Please sit at the counter~♬ I was seated at the empty counter at the far back as instructed. There is no ticket vending machine, so you have to order verbally! Of course, I ordered the "Limited Whole Tomato Cold Chinese Noodles" with <Sesame Salt>! (I'm not a big fan of black vinegar) Water is provided, BGM is J-pop, and there are 3 staff members. It is a shop specializing in char siu and can also be used as an izakaya/bar, with a wide range of menu items available for takeout at all times. Looking around, there were 2 other customers and 1 takeout customer. The timing was quite calm. ◆ Soon, the dish arrived~♬キタ━━━━(゚∀゚)━━━━!! "Limited Whole Tomato Cold Chinese Noodles" <Sesame Salt> The three-dimensional presentation is outstanding and beautiful! So, let's dig in! ◉ <Soup> First, a sip of the soup. Mmm, delicious~! (*´ω`*) The slightly thick soup is a milky white sesame-based soup with a salty flavor. I've had cold noodles this season a few times, but I realized that I don't eat "cold Chinese noodles" very often, and this is my first time this season. Even if you're not a fan of acidity, you can eat it with a sesame base. I think it's a delicious soup with a little acidity! ◉ <Noodles> When I moved the toppings, the neatly arranged noodle lines were impressive! Alright, let's eat! The noodles were from the same place as the last time, Kanno Seimen. They are thick, straight noodles with a strong texture, which I like. The noodles are also delicious. ◉ <Toppings> The shredded cucumber is a beautiful decoration as well. The char siu, which you could choose from three types last time, seemed to be predetermined for this menu. The char siu, with its rich flavor, is truly impressive. The star, the "whole tomato," turned out to have a surprisingly intense acidity, which surprised me as I ate it unknowingly. The thick omelette is on the sweeter side, which goes well with the acidity. It was the second stop, but I finished it in no time! I paid the bill without forgetting and said thank you before leaving. \(^o^)/ *Well, I finally got to eat the whole tomato cold Chinese noodles that I had been wanting to try! I was quite surprised by the intense acidity of the tomato, but those who like acidity might enjoy it. It was another good experience. I am happy today as well.
