We ordered the "Yuki Kaiseki" course for all three of us, which cost 9,350 yen. My mother had been craving beer, so she enjoyed a glass of Ebisu beer, while my father and I opted for healthy black oolong tea. The meal started with a small plum juice as an aperitif. The course included various dishes such as appetizers, sashimi, soup, grilled dishes, simmered dishes, tempura, and dessert. Each dish was meticulously prepared and delicious. The hotaruika (firefly squid) was particularly tasty. The meal ended with a refreshing dessert of black honey and green tea jelly. Overall, the experience was delightful and the food was beautifully presented.

The car dealership is a company that operates historic Japanese and Western cuisine restaurants in various locations such as Shinjuku, Akishima, Fujisawa, Sapporo, and Akita. The restaurant "Showa no Mori Kuruma" in Akishima is one of their establishments, boasting a large property with multiple private rooms for a few to 20 people, tatami rooms for 80 people, and a dining area for 80 people as well. I made a reservation for a 6,000 yen lunch course starting at 12:30-13:00. Due to traffic, we arrived at the restaurant around 1 pm and were seated by the window in the dining room. The lunch course included various dishes such as appetizers, soup, grilled fish skewers, tempura, noodles, and dessert. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the udo (mountain asparagus) appetizer, steamed tofu with conger eel soup, and simmered eggplant with pork. The service was excellent, and overall, it was a satisfying lunch experience.

Everyone was satisfied until the last dessert, and we were able to spend a relaxing time. This time, we had a special room with a toilet, which felt like a traditional Japanese inn. The room had a kotatsu table which kept our feet warm, and it was quiet which made conversations flow easily. The older colleagues also enjoyed the experience.

I went for a relative's birthday celebration. I made a reservation around 10 a.m. for a reservation starting at 1 p.m. I had also informed them of the course in advance. I had been to a restaurant in Kichijoji before, but this one felt even more upscale. I regretted going in casual clothes. We arrived right on time. Half of the place was set up for a wedding or something similar. There were about 2-3 groups besides us, maybe 4-5 groups in total? We were served a non-alcoholic plum juice as an aperitif. However, the food did not come out at all. I understand it was crowded due to the event. What I realized when the food finally arrived was that they couldn't serve unless all the dishes were ready. The sukiyaki was placed next to us without the fire lit. I'm not sure if the tempura was delayed or they were catching the fish for sashimi, but they should have informed us when we arrived or at least when we sat down. The food was delicious but the portions were small. Even elderly relatives who usually eat lightly finished their meals. Considering this, the cost performance may not be that great. To give credit to the restaurant, the staff, including the manager, came to apologize for the delay. However, there were times when we wanted to ask for more tea but couldn't find any staff around, probably because they were busy. Maybe the evaluation would have been different on a different day. It was a celebratory occasion, so I felt sorry about the experience.

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant today. It was a rare occasion where I was entertained while discussing work over a meal. The dishes I ordered were sesame tofu, an assorted appetizer platter, assorted tempura, and grilled matsutake mushrooms. We also had beer and white wine. The sesame tofu was a favorite of mine, with a rich sesame flavor and a chewy texture. The assorted appetizer platter included white sesame tofu, salted fish roe, and matsukaze (wind) salad. The assorted tempura had shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, eggplant, shiso leaves, lion's head chili peppers, lotus root, and seafood (which I left uneaten, but likely included squid and white fish). The grilled matsutake mushrooms were cooked right in front of us, and the aroma of the matsutake spread in my mouth as I took a bite. Grilling the matsutake mushrooms brought out a delicious smoky flavor, and given the price, I assume they were domestically sourced, providing a taste of happiness that reflects the autumn season. This is an elegant Japanese restaurant located on the first floor of Forest Inn Showakan, about a 7-minute walk from Akishima Station. The interior is very beautiful, and you can also listen to koto music. For dinner, I had udon, tempura, and ochazuke at this restaurant. The flavors were elegant and very delicious. The tempura, in particular, was exquisite, crispy and very tasty. The rice for the ochazuke was also delicious. You can enjoy a view of the Japanese garden while dining, which was beautiful and pleasant.

On February 27, 2019 (Wednesday), I had a lunch of a small sukiyaki set meal for 5000 yen while overlooking the garden. The atmosphere was relaxed, and it seemed like a quiet place to enjoy a meal. However, the tables were surprisingly close together, and I found myself distracted by the staff passing by to deliver meals. I could also hear conversations from nearby tables quite clearly. The meal was not exceptionally delicious, but it was still enjoyable. Convenient for those traveling by car.

My birthday is the day after tomorrow, so let's celebrate in advance. After work, I checked into the hotel for lunch. I took a bath and enjoyed Monday jazz night at the top floor lounge, Dakota. It was fun being by myself. "Shouwa no Mori Kuriya" is a traditional Japanese restaurant located in a beautiful hotel with a pond and lush greenery. The food is carefully prepared and has a gentle taste. I often come here after work to enjoy a leisurely Japanese lunch. It's a recommended place for when you want to have a relaxed meal.

The menu included: - Tofu and green onion in soy milk - Matsumae pickles with herring roe - Daikon radish and carrot salad - Sea urchin and taro roll - Smoked fish and ginkgo nuts - Yuzu cheese soup - Radish with nuts and tofu - Crab with autumn leaves, mushrooms, and yuzu - Tuna, yellowtail, and sea bream salad with green onion dressing - Grilled skewers of various fish - Vinegared dish with bamboo leaf sushi - Duck with sweet and sour sauce, chestnut, and apple flavor - Simmered dish with various seafood and vegetables - Lotus root, miso, autumn leaves, and greens - Dessert of fruit jelly, kinako mousse, and black honey grape gelato We were provided with a quiet room with a beautiful view. The dishes served were all carefully prepared and delicious. The children's set included tempura, sashimi, and sukiyaki, which even adults would envy. The way alcohol was served was excellent. It would be hard to go to other restaurants after experiencing such service here. We were able to remember our loved one in a peaceful manner. We would like to use this place again in the future.

I stayed at a hotel with a Japanese restaurant on the 1st floor. The view of the beautiful garden through the large glass was stunning. The staff in kimono were very attentive and made the atmosphere very pleasant. The course meal seemed like a good deal, but I opted for individual items - a five-piece sashimi platter, tamagoyaki, and Ebisu beer. They had a variety of sake, and I tried the Kikuhime "Yamahai Shikomi". They also had a local Miyagi sake called "Urakasumi", which made me happy. The sashimi was fresh and beautifully presented, the tamagoyaki was fluffy and delicious, and the tea pickles were plum (with a choice of seaweed or plum). It was all delicious. The takeout menu was slightly cheaper than dining in at the restaurant.

The atmosphere is really nice so it can be used for gatherings such as celebrations.

The customer service and food quality were perfect. I was very satisfied! It was for my wedding celebration, and the atmosphere was amazing.

The appetizers were good, and the main meat dish was especially delicious. The portion size was satisfying. The restaurant's ambiance and service were also excellent. It's nice to experience this kind of dining once in a while.
