At the NINJA entertainment restaurant, I experienced ninja training. NINJA TOKYO, a theme park restaurant celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, is a famous restaurant in Akasaka visited by Hollywood stars and even prime ministers. You can enjoy high-quality entertainment cuisine and table magic (ninja skills) performed by professional magicians. NINJA AKASAKA is like stepping into a theme park! When you enter, a ninja named Shishimaru greets you after throwing a shuriken at the entrance. It feels like a time slip to a ninja village from the Warring States period. The entrance is like a ninja mansion, with hidden doors to pass through and exciting drawbridges to cross, creating an adventurous atmosphere as you navigate through a dark maze to reach your seat. It feels like a period drama set, creating a completely extraordinary space, full of thrills and excitement. The seats are all private rooms, where you can relax comfortably by taking off your shoes and climbing up. In the room you are led to, a red armored Taikō is enshrined, and there is even sterilized disinfectant labeled "sterilization"! The ninja hands you an alcohol cotton and says, "Even your smartphone should be disinfected." First, toast with champagne with Taikō. I ordered the most popular Yamato Soul course (with entertainment experience for 8,000 yen). 1. Appetizer - NINJA's crest-shaped bamboo charcoal with Nishikyo miso, cream cheese, and smoked pickled daikon in a bamboo charcoal that changes in an instant with the green flames of ninja skills. 2. Cold Appetizer - Foie gras terrine with dried fig and balsamic vinegar, with a black ball pierced by a shuriken turning out to be a smooth foie gras terrine! The shuriken can be eaten with crackers. 3. Warm Appetizer - Princess Sazae escargot-style with herb butter, lotus root, soy milk, porcini, and tamarind. Finished with a ninja's fire technique, the princess sazae cut into bite-sized pieces is transformed into an escargot-style dish with garlic and nut herb butter! Enjoyed two flavors with soy milk soup scented with tamarind and porcini, and lotus root gnocchi. The dishes are created by chefs specializing in various fields, from Japanese sushi chefs to French, Italian, and Chinese cuisine masters, as well as pastry chefs. Fire, smoke, and other surprises make the dining experience unique. 4. Treasure Box - Opening the treasure box, smoke pours out, but inside is a salmon confit with rhubarb sauce and honey-marinated Yufuin mustard. Paired with sake (Mutsu Otoko). 5. Main Dish - A Seven-Star Pork from Kagoshima on a shichirin grill, where the charcoal inside turns out to be homemade baguettes! 6. Ninja Dessert - Omi Maruyoshi's premium roasted tea no. 2, and a ninja confection with playful twists. Supervised by a chef from a Michelin-starred kaiseki restaurant in Tokyo, the experience is not only fun but also delicious and satisfying. After the meal, an advanced ninja comes to your table, and photography is not allowed.
