I had a casual drinking party at this izakaya with private rooms in a building close to Akabane Station. - Kakuhai Highball 638 yen (tax included): Cheers with Kakuhai Highball first! It was a hot day, so it goes down smoothly. - Sakura Yukke 968 yen (tax included): I love horse meat, so I chose Yukke over sashimi. The sweet sauce and raw egg yolk are the best combination. - Duck Roast 748 yen (tax included): I also love duck roast. It's always delicious no matter where you eat it, with a nice amount of fat. The pepper seasoning adds a nice touch, and it goes well with grain mustard. - Chijimi 715 yen (tax included): At first, I thought it was tempura that came out (laughs). The crispy fried surface and hot inside were delicious. I want to have this Chijimi again, surprisingly soft inside. - Negima 385 yen (tax included): I usually prefer salt, but my friend recommended the sauce, so I tried it with sauce this time. Recently, I often come to Akabane for drinks. The first place I went to was Ajitosan. I took the elevator to the 6th floor of the building. It's close to the station and the seats are in private rooms. Since it was hot today, I started with draft beer. They had a Mega Jockey size, so I went for that. It was a large amount, so I couldn't finish it in one go (laughs). In this heat, I don't have much of an appetite. I started with a refreshing pickled radish salad with plum dressing. The sourness of the plum was refreshing. After the Mega Jockey of draft beer, I went for a Mega Jockey of highball (laughs). For food, I ordered grilled chicken. I ordered the seseri with sauce. It looks sweet, but the meat was tender and delicious. The sauce was not too strong, which was nice. I also ordered bonjiri with salt. The salt was a bit heavy, but it was just right after sweating. Orders are made through a touch panel, so you don't need to call the staff every time, which is convenient. There's another restaurant I'm interested in, so shall we go to one more place (laughs)?

From Ueno to Akabane, decided to change course and head to Akabane after many years. Not sure where to go, so stopped by a nice izakaya near the station! Despite it being around 7 pm, we were guided to a clean private room - cheers with a bottle of Premium Malts! - Fried river shrimp (tax excluded 580 yen): A great snack to go with drinks. - Oyster cheese bake (tax excluded 450 yen x2): Highly recommended! The rare oysters were incredibly delicious! Now, the meat sushi seemed tempting, but we didn't want to fill up on rice and stop drinking, so instead we went for: - Meat platter (tax excluded 1520 yen): Roast beef, chicken, sausage, thick-cut bacon, and fried potatoes piled high! A satisfying portion for two people! The roast beef was particularly delicious! We also tried plum wine, enjoying three different types on the rocks. It turns out, there are izakayas in Akabane where you can relax and drink in private rooms! With unbeatable cost-performance for food and drinks, it's a great recommendation for large groups looking to have a drink and meal together!

During the Obon holiday, I met up with a friend in Akabane to have a drink, but there were not many open shops. We ended up going to Ajito Akabane, which was open from 4 pm, and it turned out to be a really delicious place. The Caesar salad was bigger than expected and tasted great. The rolled omelette was soft and fluffy. We also tried the assorted grilled chicken skewers, which were available as individual items as well. But the real star of the meal was the fried chicken! It was surprisingly large and delicious, with a crispy and juicy texture. We could have easily ordered another plate. We also tried the chicken hot pot, which we chose over the tripe hot pot. We found this place conveniently located near the station, just a 3-minute walk from Akabane Station. However, on our way back, we got lost in the rain and it took us over 30 minutes. Some of us wished it was located in a hotel instead. They wouldn't come when called, lacked friendliness, made mistakes with orders, and didn't even apologize for forgetting to bring a glass. Private rooms really make you feel calm. The food was ordered through a tablet. There were a wide variety of dishes, from typical izakaya appetizers to meat sushi, yakitori, sashimi, and hot pot. When you can't decide what to eat, it's great to have a variety of options to share. I was mainly drinking with a friend I hadn't seen in a while, so I chose dishes that would go well with alcohol! The speed of serving the food was quite fast, which was nice. The sashimi was tuna and salmon! The salmon was delicious. We also ordered edamame, potato, cheese fries, and finally, grilled chicken thigh, which was generously covered in salt sauce and also delicious. Everything went well with the drinks! It's a place near the station with private rooms, and the staff were friendly and hardworking, despite being busy, which left a very good impression! I would like to use this restaurant again when drinking in Akabane.
