Thanks to the prevalence of Slack and chat in business communications, sending emails has become less common, with clients taking the lead. When adding a title, the tension rises due to a past trauma of being severely scolded by a senior for getting a name wrong. Paying attention to details like the different kanji for "Nabe" in "Watanabe" and the kanji for "Sai" in "Saito" can be nerve-wracking. Tonight's dinner is at Bistro Masa. I was invited to celebrate a former colleague's marriage, and we toasted with sparkling wine. The amuse-bouche was beautifully presented with fish and a creative sauce. The specialty dish, a mousse with new onions and seafood, was creamy and flavorful. The spring vegetable fritters and seafood ratatouille were delicious, especially when paired with the sauce. The recommended duck was juicy and tender, and the dessert of ice cream, fruits, and meringue was a perfect ending. Watching the couple, I felt happy and energized. I learned that the menu changes with the seasons, making me want to come back even if it's not for a celebration.

This is my second visit to the restaurant, which is run by one person. Each dish is carefully prepared and looks beautiful. The autumn swordfish spring rolls, which I had never eaten before, were delicious right down to the sauce. The Basque cheesecake for dessert was the best dessert I have ever had in my life.

I ordered Corn Mousse, Snow Crab, Salmon Roe, Caviar Cocktail for ¥1,540, Bonito Herb Bread Crumbs Rare Cutlet with Daikon and Balsamic for ¥935, Grilled Swordfish with Anchovy and Black Olive Sauce for ¥1,760, Seating Fee + Bread (refillable) for ¥550. I discovered an incredibly delicious bistro!! I had been wanting to go here for a long time and finally got the chance. Let me say upfront, this bistro might be the best I've ever tried in Tokyo! It was a perfect match for me! The cocktail of this mousse, which I have as the thumbnail, was the champion. Many other posts also praised this mousse, so I had high expectations, but it exceeded them. The sweetness of the corn mousse with the saltiness of the crab and shrimp was a perfect combination! The sauce had a nice acidity, and when mixed together, it was pure happiness! I wanted to order another one immediately. The Bonito Herb Bread Crumbs were also delicious, with a strong herb flavor enhancing the natural taste of the bonito. Even the potatoes on the side were delicious. The swordfish was tender and juicy, and the anchovy sauce added a nice kick. I couldn't resist ordering another half portion. The menu items with a star can be ordered in half portions for individuals. There were also counter seats available, so it's great for solo dining or sharing with friends to try a variety of dishes. The sommelier chef has carefully selected natural wines, craft gins, and other spirits, making it a perfect place to enjoy delicious food and drinks. They offer a wide selection of fish, meat, and vegetables sourced directly from Tsukiji Market. Overall, I fell in love with this place! I highly recommend it to everyone. I will definitely go back again!

Located a 3-minute walk from Tsukiji Roku-chome bus stop, this restaurant is situated on a large street, making it easy to spot. The interior has about 7-8 seats, and it was run by a single person. The menu includes 5 types of appetizers: bonito, marinated tuna, liver paste, salami, and egg mayo. Personally, I really liked the egg mayo. The Bistro's unique pasta with cheese and cream was simple but delicious. I also tried the pigeon pie, which was surprisingly easy to eat without any unpleasant smell. The food and drinks were plentiful, so I would like to try something different next time I visit. Thank you for the meal!

This is a bistro located in Tsukiji. I found it on Instagram and was curious, so I went with a friend. We visited a la carte, but they also offer courses. The restaurant can accommodate a good number of customers, but it seems quite busy with just one chef handling everything. It might be a bit tough if you're not the type to relax and take your time. The menu is color-coded to make recommendations easy to understand, which makes you want to order those dishes. The cold appetizer assortment was a bit disappointing as it lacked vegetables, being more focused on meat and fish. I wish there were more variety in the assortment. The pasta was simple but the best dish of the day. I wouldn't recommend the pigeon pie considering the price. There are other main dishes to choose from, so I suggest exploring those. The selection of gin, in addition to wine, was surprising. It's a bistro where you can enjoy various drinks. Items ordered that day: - Chef's selection cold appetizer assortment ¥1800 - Simple cream pasta with 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano ¥1500 - Baked pie with French (Landes) pigeon ¥4200

I visited a popular restaurant where you can enjoy natural wine and craft gin with casual yet authentic dishes. The chef uses seafood and carefully selected meat and vegetables sourced directly from Tsukiji. They have a sommelier and a sake connoisseur. Here are some dishes I tried: - Rare cutlet of minke whale with herb breadcrumbs, sansho pepper, myoga (¥1595): The minke whale, breaded with herb breadcrumbs and cooked rare, is thick and satisfying. It is served with myoga and sansho pepper for a refreshing taste. - Simple cream pasta with 24-month-aged Parmigiano Reggiano (¥1650): This creamy pasta with aged Parmigiano Reggiano is delicious, with the cheese coating the chewy pasta well. The natural sweetness of the roasted vegetables is healthy and adds depth to the dish. Overall, you can enjoy high-quality bistro cuisine at a reasonable price in this fully booked popular restaurant. Thank you for the delicious meal!

In the Tsukiji area, there is a bistro instead of sushi, which seems sophisticated and stylish. It's within walking distance, so I finally visited it as I had noted to do so. The day I went, it was bustling with families, giving off a homely atmosphere while also being great for dates or girls' night out. I ordered a la carte, and the menu was extensive, offering a variety of options to enjoy.

I ordered a French bistro using fresh seafood directly from Toyosu Market. New onion mousse with snow crab, salmon roe, and caviar cocktail + additional Hokkaido additive-free sea urchin. Seafood-rich Pescaotore. Kagoshima black beef cheek meat red wine stew. Ibaraki small beautiful egg truffle-scented Ufumayo. Cheese assortment. Carpaccio. This bistro is the one I most recommend recently visited! It is located about 4-5 minutes walk from Tsukiji Station. I had made a reservation and visited around 18:30 on a weekday. This luxurious cocktail is truly irresistible. The seafood and mousse complement each other perfectly and were just delicious. It's been a while since I've said "so delicious!" repeatedly. The Pescaotore had plenty of large seafood pieces and was very satisfying. It was also slightly spicy, which made it even more delicious. Not only seafood but the meat was also delicious without any complaints. There were also delicious wines, and it was a restaurant full of dishes that made you happy while eating!

I visited a popular restaurant during lunchtime where you can enjoy natural wine and craft gin with casual yet authentic cuisine. The chef uses seafood and carefully selected meat and vegetables sourced directly from Tsukiji. They offer a dish of beef harami steak with red wine sauce for 1600 yen. It is served with a variety of grilled vegetables such as potatoes, cabbage, lotus root, sweet potatoes, and eggplant, as well as a carrot soup with beans. You can also get seconds of the multigrain rice. The natural sweetness of the grilled vegetables is healthy and delicious. This is a great spot to enjoy high-quality bistro cuisine at a reasonable price. The restaurant is always crowded, so make sure to make a reservation in advance. Thank you for the meal!

Suddenly, my evening plans were free, so I decided to contact the restaurant and luckily managed to make a reservation at the Tsukiji Bistro Masa. This bistro uses an abundance of fresh seafood directly sourced from Toyosu to create dishes that bring out the flavors of the ingredients without compromising them. I had always wanted to go for dinner at this charming bistro. I had been there for lunch before, so I was excited to finally try their dinner menu. I ended up ordering a la carte items, and the chef kindly accommodated my request even though it might take some time. The a la carte menu offers half-size portions for one person and full-size portions for two people. Here are the dishes I ordered: - Chicken liver mousse: A generous portion of rich and delicious liver mousse. - Rare Katsu made with Kenken-caught bonito: Perfectly cooked with a unique Tapenade sauce. - Butter sautéed flat clams with steamed spring cabbage and new onions: A cute and delicious dish with plenty of clam flavor. - Sautéed French white asparagus and Toyama firefly squid with burnt butter sauce: A dish I really wanted to try, and it did not disappoint. - Miyazaki salmon mikiuy: A unique and flavorful dish with potato puree and a special sauce. - Pescatore with plenty of seafood: A bit spicy for my taste, but the clams and angel prawns were delicious. I also had two recommended white wines to accompany the meal. The dishes were meticulously prepared and absolutely delicious. The restaurant is perfect for a date night or a special occasion. Despite being short-staffed that day, the service was excellent, and I am grateful for the wonderful experience. I look forward to making a reservation in advance next time and trying the course menu with wine pairing. Thank you for the fantastic meal. - New onion mousse with snow crab, ikura, caviar, and fresh sea urchin cocktail - Live-caught red snapper carpaccio - Seared mackerel marinade with kumquat and beets - Chicken white liver mousse - Grilled grenouille (frog) with herb breadcrumbs - Baked boudin noir with Fuji apple compote - Sauteed spear squid with garlic, squid ink sauce - Lobster bisque risotto - Setoka cream brulee with chocolate ice cream - Praline and cream cheese adult mille-feuille with raspberry ice cream Price: ¥7500 per person The restaurant is spacious inside, with a variety of half-sized menu options available, which was great for trying out different dishes. This time, we ordered more appetizers and skipped the main course. The new onion mousse had a rich tomato sauce, which was interesting. The mackerel with beet and basil sauce was beautifully presented and delicious. The spear squid was tender and flavorful, complemented by the unique texture of the ice plant and the tomato-flavored squid ink sauce. The lobster bisque risotto was satisfying with a half-roasted lobster. The setoka cream brulee with pieces of setoka fruit was delightful. They also offered Cavas and red sparkling wine by the glass, which was a nice touch.

Bistro Masa in Tsukiji - Grilled Broccoli Mousse (Snow Crab, Salmon Roe, Caviar) *Add Sea Urchin, Confit Chicken Hearts, Burgundy Frog, Herb Breaded Frog, Ricotta Cheese and Spinach Ravioli with Genovese Sauce, Special Bouillabaisse (Shrimp Broth), Roasted Mountain Quail, Chocolate Mousse with Strawberry and Pistachio Ice Cream (Menu can be swiped) - I thought it would be fish-focused since it's in Tsukiji, but they had a great selection of rare game dishes. I'm happy to finally visit this restaurant I wanted to go to. The Burgundy Frog was delicious!

Hidden gem bistro & natural wine bar. I enjoyed the seafood and specialty meat dishes sourced directly from Toyosu. The casual yet authentic cuisine was a delight. I recommend making a reservation in advance as the seating is limited and it tends to get fully booked. I ordered the tomato and burrata cheese with white balsamic for a refreshing taste. Paired with a slightly sweet white wine, it was a perfect contrast. The pasta with karasumi and eringi was flavorful with a strong umami taste from the mushrooms. The main dish of Kumamoto Aka beef sirloin roast in red wine sauce was tender and flavorful, especially the sauce. The accompanying eggplant was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The bouillabaisse was well-prepared with a crispy seared skin on the white fish. I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Hidden gem bistro in Tsukiji, BistroMASA offers a variety of natural wines and dishes featuring seafood and French cuisine sourced directly from Toyosu. With carefully selected meats and game dishes starting from ¥1000, the cost performance is outstanding. The chef is both a sommelier and a sake connoisseur, ensuring the perfect pairing for your meal. Located near Tsukiji Honganji Temple, this cozy bistro offers a homely atmosphere where you can enjoy each dish with chopsticks. Menu highlights include the "Tsukiji Cocktail" (my own name) featuring plenty of caviar, snow crab, and salmon roe on a bed of gold carrot mousse for ¥1300 per dish. The combination of flavors in this dish is truly delightful. Another must-try is the seared bluefin tuna with tapenade sauce for ¥1200, where the richness of the tuna pairs perfectly with the olive and anchovy tapenade. The venison and domestic pork pâté de campagne is also a standout dish with its perfect balance of fat and saltiness. For pasta lovers, the scallop and spinach cream pasta for ¥1600 is a must-try, featuring plump scallops and a creamy sauce with a hint of saltiness. The special bouillabaisse for ¥3300 is a French-style stew made with fresh seafood from Toyosu Market, offering a rich and harmonious blend of flavors. To complement your meal, try the Yone Farm Kyoho grape juice from Nagano, which is as delicious as eating the grapes themselves. This refreshing juice pairs well with any dish and is a great non-alcoholic option for pairing. Overall, BistroMASA is a fantastic find in the heart of Tsukiji, offering fresh seafood dishes and a wide selection of wines. Whether you choose à la carte or course menu, you're in for a treat. Don't miss out on the homemade bread served at the table for just ¥550. #BistroMASA

Originally, this place was the location of "Uokame" and the new restaurant, "Bistro Masa," opened after "Uokame." Despite opening two years ago, it seems like they have persevered through the tough times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The current location of "Uokame" is now a place called "Shinba," which serves Shizuoka-style oden. The transition from "Uokame" to "Bistro Masa" was smooth, with the chef having previously worked at "Uokame." The menu at "Bistro Masa" offers most dishes in half sizes, which was a relief for the reviewer who prefers smaller portions. The reviewer and their companion enjoyed dishes like Hirame Carpaccio and Cauliflower Mousse in half portions. However, they had to cancel their order for pasta due to the long wait time, as they were feeling very sleepy by 7 pm. Despite this, they appreciated the accommodating service and the quality of the food, and expressed a desire to visit again in the future.

"Bistro Masa" is a bistro with the concept of "easily eaten with chopsticks." In addition to set courses, they also have a wide range of à la carte options, which we tried on this day. They offer a variety of wines priced at less than 1000 yen. The natural amberjack carpaccio with pickled turnips was a delicious dish, with the fish sourced directly from Tsukiji. We paired it with white wine, recommended by the staff. The autumn salmon and salmon roe pasta had a strong garlic flavor and a generous amount of salmon, providing a satisfying meal. For the main course, we chose the roast Marbled beef sirloin and red wine-braised beef cheek. The Marbled beef was delicious, and the fried broccoli on the side was a nice touch. The beef cheek was incredibly tender and melted in the mouth. Of course, we enjoyed these dishes with red wine. The à la carte menu offers smaller portion sizes, making it ideal for sharing multiple dishes. We had a fulfilling meal and drinks for two people for under 20,000 yen. Bistros like this are wonderful!

Hidden gem in Tsukiji! A French bistro where you can eat with chopsticks, with a cozy and woody atmosphere. The jazz music playing in the background creates a calming ambiance. Despite its casual vibe, the dishes are authentic and delicious. They use fresh seafood sourced directly from Toyosu, along with carefully selected meats and vegetables. The menu is rich in seafood dishes, and they change daily depending on the ingredients available. Each dish is prepared to bring out the natural flavors of the ingredients. They also offer a wide selection of wines, focusing on natural wines with over 30 types available by the glass. The chef, who is also a sommelier and sake connoisseur, has curated a selection of drinks to pair perfectly with the dishes. The menu includes dishes like natural amberjack carpaccio, sautéed oysters in white wine butter sauce, homemade bread, spring rolls with Pacific saury, and more. Each dish is full of flavor and a delight to the taste buds. It's a place you'll want to visit again and again, especially with the menu changing regularly, offering new delicious surprises each time.

The lunch menu for the day was introduced on Instagram Stories. Although reservations for seats are not accepted, it is possible to reserve dishes in advance. I made a reservation for "Sauteed Akisake and Oyster Fritters with Anchovy Cream Sauce" via DM. When I visited after 12:30, there was a short wait for one person, but both of us were able to enter shortly. At the time of my visit, there was one male customer and the rest were women. It is easy to enter even if you are dining alone. First, pumpkin soup and a mini salad were served. The soup was delicious with a natural sweetness. The salad was served before we finished eating, followed by the main course. The taste was good, but unfortunately, the lunch menu is only available until the end of this month. If you are interested, it is recommended to visit soon.

I made a reservation for 6:30 pm on a weekday. It was a little anniversary, our second visit in a year! Menu ordered: Pairing (Standard) 4,400 yen → 3,300 yen, Homemade bread charge (table charge) 550 yen per person, refillable, Natural amberjack carpaccio 800 yen, Medium fatty tuna with return balsamico 800 yen, Cod milt and crispy grilled grenobloise sauce 1,400 yen, Sautéed oysters, mussels with white wine sauce 1,500 yen topped with karasumi, Grilled sazae (large) with herb butter 650 yen each, Autumn salmon and salmon roe pasta 1,900 yen, Roasted 120g Ezo venison from Hokkaido 1,900 yen. - Good service, Casual (counter seats, tables), Course options at 6,600 yen and 9,800 yen, Pairing available, A la carte with choice of sizes - S and L, Suitable for friends, dates, dining alone. We ordered a la carte this time, with pairing, and still enjoyed it for less than 10,000 yen per person. The restaurant sources seafood directly from Tsukiji and uses carefully selected meat and vegetables. I particularly enjoyed the seafood dishes. The chef is a sommelier and a sake connoisseur, so there is a wide selection of wines available, and the pairing option includes a small amount of wine served with each dish. The chef was handling everything alone in a nearly full restaurant, but still managed to provide attentive service and timely dishes. It was impressive how the chef remembered us from a year ago and made us feel welcome. It seems like many customers are repeat visitors, and I will definitely be back next year! Thank you for the wonderful meal!
