On my way to the next shopping destination, I happened to see a sign that said "Famima!!" on the 5th floor. I had to check it out. The store is located on the office floor and has a spacious interior, with more of a focus on miscellaneous items. There is also an eat-in space with stylish tables and chairs. I felt a bit dehydrated from walking around, so I decided to grab a drink to rehydrate. Alcohol is dangerous, so I avoided that. Now, I need to finish my shopping before the meeting time.

Akihabara UDX has a cool-looking type of FamilyMart on the 5th floor of what seems to be an office building. They have a mix of products, some that you would find in a regular FamilyMart and some that are unique to this location. The store is spacious and the FamilyMart Collection chocolate flakes are sold for 108 yen including tax. They are similar to Morinaga's chocolate flakes, but Cisco's version has a firmer texture compared to Morinaga's smoother chocolate.

I usually don't review convenience stores, but as a memo. I'm not a fan of the atmosphere of street-level cafes in Akihabara. It's always crowded with foreign tourists and groups, so I find it hard to relax. I don't have any particular store I want to visit, so it's difficult to find a place to take a break. However, while looking for a post office, I happened to come across this FamilyMart on the 5th floor of a building near the station! It's a new type of FamilyMart targeting office workers in newer buildings in Tokyo. When I went to buy water, I was surprised to find a spacious seating area, so I decided to take a break there. Oh! There's even a power outlet! I'll charge my newly purchased used iPhone. With a view of JR trains from the counter by the window, it's recommended for train enthusiasts. There are many solo customers, and no tourist-looking people, so it's calm and I really liked it here. I'll use it again when I go to Akihabara. Be careful, as they close early on weekends. I also made a note about the sandwich specialty shop on the same floor.

At 1:30 pm on a regular day, I didn't have much time so I had the special curry bento (299 yen) at the eat-in corner of the store. This is delicious!

On a normal day at 12 o'clock. Today, I didn't have much time so I had lunch at a nearby convenience store. It has become my go-to choice, minced meat and vegetable meat sauce (398 yen), and today I added a grilled soy sauce rice ball (118 yen). It was my first time trying the grilled rice ball, and it had a strong bonito flakes aroma.

On a typical weekday at 11 am, I had to work in Akihabara today. With limited time, I had my usual meat sauce and black oolong tea for lunch. It was delicious as always. The eat-in space is well-equipped, making it very convenient. (October 2016) Casual coffee from the convenience store on a weekday at 12 pm. I bought coffee after lunch. I visit this building frequently as there are clients here, and I use it at all times of the day. Today, I bought coffee from FamilyMart Cafe. There is a coffee shop on the same floor, but the price is cheaper here, I can do other shopping at the same time, and the taste is not inferior to the coffee shop, so I have been using it a lot lately if there is a place to drink in the office. Also, there is an eat-in corner in the store, which I often use.
