In October 2013, after enjoying a delicious meal at "Ata," I visited "Lezard" located on the same floor as "Ata." It turned out that a friend of mine was performing there that day, so I had to go see them (laughs). Unfortunately, it seems I got the date wrong, as my friend did perform but only briefly, as the main event was a karaoke competition for the customers (laughs). Two days later, my friend's actual performance was apparently fantastic, so I was quite disappointed (sad).
In March 2013, I added two photos to the collection. First, take a look at this photo of a "fruit assortment." Despite the bar being quite dark, the photo came out beautifully. Truly impressive lens from CANON, I was amazed. Compare it to the previous photo. This time, I went to see a trio live performance with "Shigeo Fukuda," whom I had promised to meet last time, along with my son and a friend. It was incredibly enjoyable. Ah, I want to do it again.
In December 2012, I received a notice that my amateur jazz vocalist friend would be singing at "Lezard," and the pianist backing them was none other than "Shigeo Fukuda." Not many people may know him, but "Shigeo Fukuda" is a famous Japanese jazz pianist, one of the top in the country. So, after enjoying delicious "Shanghai crab" at "Renge," I went to see the performance. When I arrived past 8 o'clock, the place was already lively, and we were guided to seats at the back. The fee was all-inclusive, only 3000 yen per person, quite cheap. On the table, there were fruit assortments, cheese assortments, and dried snacks. And the drinks were all-you-can-drink, of course, including the music charge, quite a bargain. There were no homemade dishes, just fresh fruits, cheese, and dried snacks, so there was no way they could taste bad (laughs). After a while, the "Shigeo Fukuda" trio started playing, which was wonderful. I would love to perform with them someday. Then, the main event of the evening, my friend's singing, began, and there was a tremendous applause. Oh, singing, well, it was okay (laughs), as they are amateurs. But their talk and performance were entertaining and enjoyable (laughs). On the way out, I promised "Shigeo Fukuda" that next year, we would perform as a trio with me, my son, and him, and I went home feeling elated. Ah, it was so much fun (laughs).
