As soon as I entered, I purchased a meal ticket and got some water myself at the table. I decided to try the set menu with zaru soba and a mini katsudon. It was ready in about 5 minutes and tasted delicious, all at a reasonable price. It was great to be able to quickly eat during a break from work. The cheerful greetings from the staff at the restaurant really lifted my spirits.

Today, I had a quick and easy lunch of soba noodles near Gaien. I ordered the seasonal favorite "Summer Bucchake Yokubari Soba" for 720 yen. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I received my order, which was a generous bowl of soba noodles topped with tempura, cucumber, seaweed, grated daikon radish, green onions, chopped nori, and a soft-boiled egg in the center. The noodles had a nice firm texture, and the flavorful broth paired well with the crispy tempura and fresh vegetables. It was a satisfying meal, especially during the summer when appetite tends to decrease. I would recommend trying this well-balanced and delicious soba dish.

I enjoyed cheap and casual tempura soba noodles here. It was delicious. You purchase a meal ticket and then get called one after another. The turnover rate is really good. The taste is also very good. I always eat soba here before going to the rugby game at Chichibunomiya. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is a late lunch. The restaurant is a mix between a regular soba shop and a standing soba shop, with tables and standing spaces mixed together. It's kind of innovative! I entered the shop and purchased a ticket from the high-tech ticket machine. They accept various cashless payments. Since I was hungry, I ordered "Tenseiro / 760 yen". It was already past lunchtime, so there were only a few customers inside. I sat at a table with a chair. Soon, my number was called. For this price, I got a generous serving of soba noodles and tempura. The tempura was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The dipping sauce was also to my liking and delicious. The soba noodles were satisfying even in the large portion. It was a great meal!

I wanted to have a quick lunch and decided to visit this place. The ordering system is smooth with a ticket machine and waiting for your order to be called while seated. They offer a variety of soba menu items, including seasonal specials, so you won't get bored. I tried the seasonal soba dish which was delicious with a variety of flavors from sweet tofu to condiments. The soba noodles were slightly firm, just how I like them. The onsen egg was perfectly runny. The seating options range from sofas to standing counters, suitable for different situations. Thank you for the meal!

The deep-fried seaweed tempura (in the shape of kakiage) is quite rare. Since it was hot, I had decided on cold soba, and I ordered the 500 yen menu here because it seemed to have a seafood taste. The soba at Imai is really delicious. Despite being a chain restaurant, it can compete with local soba shops. It stands out even more with cold or zaru soba. The seaweed tempura was surprisingly easy to eat without causing heartburn, despite being fried.

"Soba Saimai (around 600 yen) is warm soba with fresh seaweed tempura, fried tofu, and raw egg. The broth is on the sweeter side. The seaweed tempura was crispy. It's located near Gaienmae Station and offers good value compared to other soba restaurants in the area. I thought it was a standing-only restaurant, but there are seats available."

I had the raw seaweed tempura soba for 530 yen. I purchased it from a ticket machine, and it seemed like the order was immediately placed. I waited at my seat. It's a standing-style shop, but there are seats available. Despite being an inexpensive soba shop, the interior was clean, as expected in Aoyama. My raw seaweed tempura seemed to be fried right after ordering, and it exceeded my expectations. The flavor was really good. The soba had a nice texture and was delicious, although the portion was small. The raw seaweed tempura had a great texture, with the flavor of seaweed and the warmth of the broth making the tempura soft and tasty. It was delicious. It's amazing that people can eat such delicious soba at such a low price every day. I will definitely go again. Thank you for the meal.

The night before, I had a house party with friends and sent my friend who had a hangover to Aoyama Ichome. While I was there, I had a late breakfast around Gaien Nishi-dori street. I ordered the summer special "yokubari soba" for 720 yen using the ticket machine. The soba came with a variety of toppings such as sesame-fried tempura, tempura crumbs, soft-boiled egg, cucumber, seaweed, nameko mushrooms, grated daikon radish, radish sprouts, shiso leaves, green onions, and chopped seaweed. The soba had a firm texture and was not heavy despite the generous toppings, making it a good choice for a hangover. The restaurant was not crowded, and I would keep it in mind as a light option with a unique twist on noodles.

I went to eat soba at Aoyama's "Imai" and found it to be quite cost-effective, so I want to recommend it. Imai is written as いまゐ and pronounced as imai, and it is a self-service soba restaurant which is not very common. I thought it might be similar to "Fuji Soba" which is also easy for individuals to enter, but I was surprised to find that they also have table seating in addition to the counter. This makes it a good option for families, unlike the other two mentioned restaurants. Overall, Aoyama's "Imai" is a place where you can easily go alone or with your family. It meets the needs of both individuals and families, similar to family restaurants in the area.

I was walking towards Aoyama Ichome from Gaienmae when I saw a shop front that caught my eye. After finishing my errands, I decided to go in. The shop had a surprising ticket machine at the entrance, but the smell of soba convinced me to try it. I chose the Ten Seiro soba for 760 yen. The interior of the shop had a standing soba shop atmosphere, but I was captivated by the smell of soba. I received a tray like the one in the picture and sat down. The soba was delicious, and I was impressed by how tasty the soba broth was. I was also amazed that I could get tempura at this price.

■Access: 1-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Ginza Line Gaienmae Station
■Visit count: 5th visit
■Purpose: Solo lunch
■Overview: This soba restaurant is located along Route 246, just a stone's throw away from Gaienmae Station. They offer standing soba, but also have a few seating options available. The restaurant has a clean and sophisticated atmosphere fitting for its Aoyama location, and you can enjoy soba at a reasonable price.
■Menu: The soba menu includes basic kake soba and zaru soba starting from 380 yen, which is very reasonable considering the location. They also offer toppings like tempura and tanuki, as well as seasonal limited-time menu items. On this day, I ordered my usual dish, the nama nori ten soba (500 yen).
■Impressions: The quality of the nama nori ten soba was exceptional, as always, at this soba restaurant that I visit regularly. There tends to be a line during lunchtime, so I try to visit at off-peak hours. The consistent taste of the nama nori ten soba with its elegant nori aroma, initially crisp texture that gradually softens as the broth soaks in, and the lightness that allows for easy eating without feeling greasy, are all delightful points. Not only the tempura, but also the soba itself is delicious, and the mild broth has a comforting flavor. It seems like I will continue to visit this restaurant regularly. Thank you for the meal.

■Impression: The quality of the raw seaweed tempura soba here is consistently high, which is why I have visited multiple times. This popular restaurant in the Aoyama area offers both affordability and deliciousness, often drawing a lunchtime crowd. I usually go for the raw seaweed tempura soba, which has a pleasant seaweed aroma and a light, refined tempura that pairs well with the gentle broth. The raw egg added a contrast in flavor towards the end, allowing me to enjoy the mild broth. I look forward to visiting regularly in the future. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Aoyama for work! It was hot and I was in the mood for some cold soba noodles, so I decided to have lunch at this soba restaurant that I had been curious about for a while.
- Order:
- Zaru Soba (cold soba noodles) 380 yen
- Fresh seaweed tempura 150 yen
It's a food ticket style restaurant like Tomi Soba or Yutaro, with both seating and standing areas. The place was filled with office workers having lunch, just like a chain soba restaurant. So I didn't have high expectations, but... the taste was amazing for this price!! The soba noodles had a nice firmness and were delicious! The fresh seaweed tempura, which I haven't seen much before, also had a delicious seaweed flavor! I prefer dipping cold soba noodles in the dipping sauce rather than having them with toppings, so I chose zaru soba and tempura. They also offer soba noodles with toppings! But here, I think zaru soba is the way to go for cold soba noodles. I will definitely come back here whenever I'm in the area!

■Menu: Soba dishes range from 380 yen for basic kake soba and zaru soba. They also offer toppings like tempura and tanuki. On this day, I ordered the Natto Tempura Soba (500 yen) as usual.
■Impression: The quality of the Natto Tempura soba was very high at this soba restaurant I have visited a few times. I usually visit during lunchtime, but this time I went around 3 pm to avoid the crowds. The tempura was served freshly fried, and the sound it made when dipped in the broth was appetizing. The delicate aroma of seaweed, crispy texture, and smooth mouthfeel all combined to create a satisfying tempura. The soba itself was delicious, and the mild broth had a comforting flavor. I will continue to visit this restaurant regularly. Thank you for the meal.

At Omotesando, I had standing soba with fresh seaweed tempura. The aroma of seaweed, which is also reminiscent of the sea, wafts through the air. It's a delightful experience as the broth gradually changes in flavor while enjoying the tempura and noodles together. Mixing the tempura with the noodles is pure bliss. It's a common knowledge that soba tastes even better when it's cold outside. Today, it was raining, adding to the challenging situation, making the soba even more delicious.

Curry udon that is only available in winter is delicious. It would be great if they offered it year-round. However, the staff is the worst. I asked for soy sauce to go with some egg and rice, but they said they couldn't provide it. What? It doesn't make sense to say you have soy sauce but can't give it to me. Unfortunately, I had to give up on having egg over rice. The arrogant attitude that ignores customer needs is really the worst. I don't even know who is running this place.

■Impression: I came back for a second visit because they offer the perfect combination of being affordable, quick, and delicious. The place is always crowded during lunchtime, so I recommend visiting after 1 pm. After placing your order, your number is called in about 4-5 minutes, and you pick up your soba from the kitchen. The signature dish, fresh seaweed tempura, has a strong seaweed aroma and a delicate, savory taste. It's delicious eaten crispy, but even better when dipped in the broth to enhance the seaweed flavor. The broth is gentle and easy to drink, and I finished it all again this time. I will definitely be visiting this place regularly in the future. Thank you for the meal.

Whether eaten crispy or soaked in the broth, it was so tasty that I finished it in no time. I will definitely be visiting this shop regularly in the future. Thank you for the meal.

Standing soba noodle shop in front of Gaienmae
I was looking for a place to eat lightly before watching rugby the other day and visited this shop. I ordered the Nikujiru soba (700 yen) using the ticket system, and the service was fast. The meat was very tender but had a lot of fat, making it heavy, but it was still delicious. The soup had a strong dashi flavor and was quite tasty. However, the quality of the soba was really not good. I didn't expect to have amazing soba at a place where you can eat kakesoba for 380 yen, but honestly, the taste and aroma of the soba were completely lacking. It wasn't that it was not delicious, but rather it was "bad". I thought I definitely wouldn't want to go there again.
