黄色のたぬき
This is a ramen restaurant located in Akasaka Biz Tower. They offer ramen and tsukemen with a focus on using wine-infused soy sauce and salt tare, a "double soup" made with fish flakes, kombu, and chicken, and custom-made noodles using domestically produced wheat. They are open all day, making it convenient for customers. The restaurant opened in March 2022 and is operated by M2. The name of the restaurant was chosen to reflect their desire to create a place where you can enjoy a hundred different flavors with just one bowl of soup. It is located directly connected to Akasaka Station on the basement floor of Akasaka Biz Tower, next to Singapore Hainanese Chicken Rice. The seating mainly consists of counter seats with some table seating in the back. The service is friendly and efficient, despite appearing busy. □ Summer Limited Edition
- "Almost Corn Potage" (1,400 yen)
- "Whole Tomato Cold Chinese Noodles" (1,400 yen)
I usually order the standard menu when visiting a new restaurant, but I was drawn to the summer limited edition item after seeing the photos. I love corn flavor, so I decided to try it. Here is what I ordered:
● Almost Corn Potage (1,400 yen)
- Cold noodles topped with cold corn puree, Early Red corn tempura, finely chopped chashu, shiitake mushroom tempura, and soy sauce paste.
The corn puree was smooth and cold, just like the corn soup I love. The tempura corn and shiitake mushroom were delicious, with a crispy outer layer and flavorful seasoning. The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles made with a blend of spring wheat and Kitahonami wheat, with added whole grain flour from Nagano Prefecture. They were cold and smooth, complementing the corn puree well. The spiciness of the Early Red corn added a nice kick, and the finely chopped chashu was easy to eat. I enjoyed the dish so much that I finished every last bit of the corn puree. The portion was just right. I spent about 27 minutes at the restaurant. After finishing my meal, I returned the empty bowl to the designated area and left the restaurant. Although I didn't try the standard menu this time, I was very satisfied with the ramen. If I have the chance, I would like to try the regular menu next time.
