◾️ While visiting Kanda Myojin Shrine, I decided to stop by MASU MASU for a tea time treat. ◾️ My main goal this time was the "Myojin Pudding" drink set (810 yen). ◾️ The menu describes it as a "matchmaking" Myojin Pudding. ◾️ Shortly after ordering, the pudding and iced tea arrived at my table. ◾️ The pudding looked firm, but was actually soft and smooth. ◾️ When paired with unsweetened whipped cream, the pudding's sweetness became more refined and elegant. ◾️ I chose iced tea for a refreshing finish, which turned out to be a great choice. ◾️ I might go for this combination again next time.

I made a reservation online at 11 am on a weekday and they gave me a great seat for one person. The katsu curry rice with mixed grains was crispy and delicious, and the curry was light and fruity, making it easy to eat. I wanted a bit more after finishing, so if you're a big eater, you might want to order a little more.

I use this shop inside the precincts of Kanda Myojin as a hidden gem. The curry here is excellent, with a very delicious curry roux. It's great to order it as a set with iced coffee. They also have other options like ginger stir-fry and Japanese-style desserts.

I visited Kameido, Yushima Tenjin, and then headed to Kanda Shrine. I came to see Kanda Shrine, which is currently being used as a filming location for the TBS drama "VIVANT." There were many charming buildings to enjoy. After exploring for a while, I took a break at "EDOCCO CAFE MASU MASU" inside Kanda Shrine. I enjoyed a delicious draft beer. It was a hot day, so the cold beer was refreshing. I also tried the shrine's original drink called "Ginger Ale," which had an interesting name.

The caramel pudding is a must-try, with a gentle sweetness and soft texture that everyone will love. The cream is light and leaves a great aftertaste. Enjoy the pudding in a sophisticated atmosphere. I visited the Kanda Festival, which is being held for the first time in 4 years. It was interesting to see the portable shrines being carried through the streets. There were also warriors on horseback forming a procession, and it's been a while since I've seen real horses like that. Feeling tired from walking, I took a break with some ginger ale and Kanda pudding. The handmade pudding at the shrine seemed to have some divine benefits. The bittersweetness of the caramel was delicious. The café space was quite spacious and relaxing. Thank you for the meal.

I visited during afternoon snack time. It's a small café attached to a souvenir shop on the grounds of Kanda Shrine. There are many traditional Japanese desserts available. I visited with my family and ordered pudding, anmitsu, warabi mochi, and oshiruko. The pudding was a nostalgic type, slightly firm. It was delicious, especially when paired with hojicha. I recommend this place for a relaxing break during Tokyo sightseeing. :)

Excellent sweetness! Do not underestimate Akajin Pudding! I have been curious about it for a while, and this time I decided to enter the shop after visiting the shrine. The interior is focused on tourism, with a very "JAPAN" atmosphere that would appeal to overseas travelers. As for the pudding, the caramel has a great balance of sweetness and bitterness, and it goes perfectly with the cream served alongside. Overall, the sweetness is mild and the taste is elegant. You can also buy pudding for takeout at the cafe entrance shop. With the tea set, you can choose from four types of tea such as hojicha and sencha. This time, I chose hojicha (hot or cold). You can also have a meal here, so I am looking forward to my next visit. How about trying Akajin Pudding for a break after visiting the shrine?

I was overwhelmed by the vibrant Kanda Myojin shrine, so I decided to visit this cafe located within the grounds. After a long day at work, I was tired and wanted to try everything on the menu. But I only have one stomach. I decided to order the square parfait, a unique dish with a square cup featuring a picture of a trout. It looked so stylish and exclusive to this place. I dug my spoon into the cup covered in powdered sugar, not knowing what to expect. Inside, I found green! I assumed it would taste like matcha, but it turned out to be chocolate. Beneath the green layer, cocoa color shone brightly. There were also fresh oranges, shiratama (mochi), and baked goods inside, making it even more delightful than I had imagined. This is definitely a dish worth savoring only at this place.

This is a cafe located inside Kanda Myojin Shrine. After visiting the shrine and buying souvenirs, I stumbled upon this cafe and was drawn in by its calm atmosphere and delicious-looking display. The pudding had a refined taste with a firm texture, and I was happy to see hojicha served in a pot.

Located near Kanda Shrine, I came here looking for a child-friendly cafe where I could relax while my older child had plans at Yushima Seido next door. It was a Sunday at 1 pm and there was no long line, with a fast turnover inside the restaurant. I quickly got a table for two. I ordered the Shio Koji Ginger Pork for 1,150 yen with a choice of white or multigrain rice, and my child chose white rice. I also got the Inari Kenchin Soup Set for 750 yen. For an additional 330 yen, I could choose from coffee, matcha, or hojicha as a set drink. I chose coffee, but was later informed that juice was also an option. I ordered apple juice for 480 yen, which I wish had been mentioned earlier. The total bill came to 2,710 yen. Unfortunately, the drinks arrived before the food, so my coffee was cold by the time I finished eating. Despite asking, the staff did not clear our plates after we finished eating, and we were not offered dessert menus. Although the food was delicious and the restaurant was spacious and comfortable, the lack of attention to detail and service made it a disappointing experience. The restaurant was not overly busy, so there was no excuse for the lack of attentiveness.

Today, I went for a stroll in Akihabara and visited Kanda Shrine. I had dinner and took a break at a cafe in Kanda Shrine. It's usually hectic when I go alone, but today I was able to relax and have a fun conversation. Thank you as always. I had a warm bowl of tan tan noodles with soy milk and sweet red bean soup. It was so comforting. The ginger ale was also delicious.

I had lunch at a stylish café with a trendy name today. The Katsu Curry was delicious, with freshly fried cutlets and a choice of white rice or five-grain rice. The sauce was tasty, and I was happy with the side of pickles. Finally, I visited the shrine to pray for good luck. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I had lunch at the Cafe EDOCCOCAFEMASUMASU on the first floor of the Cultural Exchange Center inside Kanda Myojin. The concept of connecting the customers who come to Kanda Myojin with the cafe is wonderful. After much consideration, I chose the soy milk tantanmen udon. It seemed to be a limited-time menu. It was filling and warmed me up on a cold day. I would love to try the Masu parfait next time. There is a shop next to the cafe selling sake and auspicious items. It's a place I would like to visit after praying.

I visited a Japanese cafe inside the commercial facility and office of Kanda Myojin around 2 pm on Sunday. It was almost full when we arrived, but the turnover was good and there were no long lines. I ordered a fruit anmitsu set (priced at 850 or 950 yen individually, or 1,250 yen as a drink set) and a Myojin pudding (550 yen). The anmitsu had various fruits like orange, pear, kyoho grape, and kiwi, which were all delicious. I ordered Earl Grey tea for my drink, and was surprised to see that they served it with tea leaves in a pot. The Myojin pudding was a bit small, but had a generous amount of whipped cream. It was also delicious. (Some fruits are missing in the photo as I hurried to take it...)

Ming Shin Pudding (Plain) is made from milk, cream, eggs, cane sugar, granulated sugar, wasanbon sugar, vanilla paste, and espresso. Although I am not an espresso expert, I believe this pudding is close to being additive-free. It is a high-quality pudding that you wouldn't expect to find in a shrine's gift shop. I accidentally tilted my bag on the way home, causing the caramel to spread throughout, but initially, there were clear layers. It is smooth, with a hint of bitterness in the caramel. I think both adults and children would enjoy the taste.

I had lunch at EDOCCOCAFEMASUMASU on the 1st floor of the Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Center. I didn't know about the café when I visited the shrine before. Next to the café, there is a shop where you can purchase Edo goods, lucky charms, and original products. It was around 3 pm, so the café was not crowded, and I was seated right away. The menu offers dishes like curry, ginger pork, inari sushi with clear soup, various udon dishes, and desserts like parfait and matcha set. I ordered the inari sushi with clear soup (750 yen tax included). The inari sushi made with fried tofu looked delicious and was served with a side dish. The inari sushi was small and easy to eat, with a nice balance of vinegared rice. The clear soup had pork in it, which I wasn't expecting, but I enjoyed it. The grilled chicken and shredded carrot side dishes were tasty too. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. The café is located in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, inside the Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Center.

༻The Matcha sweets created by the Matcha university student are now available!♔shopEDOCCO CAFE MASU MASU※Store details are listed at the bottom of the page⁡areaOchanomizu⁡..♔..⁡⁡⁡**.⁡⁡⚐Approximately 8 minutes walk from Ochanomizu Station‍♀️⁡⁡✎Located within Kanda Shrine, connecting with the shrine and visitors, is the cafe "EDOCCO CAFÉ MASU MASU". It serves lunch menus and Japanese sweets during the day, and operates as an oden and sake shop at night! The name of the store, "EDOCCO CAFÉ MASU MASU," is a combination of "masu," a traditional Japanese measuring tool, and "masumasu," wishing for prosperity and good connections. Let's dive into the details⁡⁡▲Key points to remember▲⁡✎Weekend, sunny, 10:05 AM.. No one was there so I could buy right away. The store is divided into a takeout corner and a cafe corner. About 30% of the cafe seats were taken. There were a few people in the takeout area⁡✎The Matcha university student, Okamatcha-kun (not Okama-kun, so be careful), developed Matcha products! He was standing in front of the store, with Matcha nails (I repeat, not Okama-kun, so be careful), and was brewing Matcha! I decided to interview him on the spot! I will showcase it on standfm. @oka.matcha⁡⁡✎Payment methods accepted: cash, credit card, IC card.⁡✎They only had paper plates, so I brought my own plate.⁡✎There is an outdoor terrace with parasols. It is located inside Kanda Myojin. I had a parfait, juice (ginger ale), and snacks with a good luck charm (I visited before a qualification exam). Fortunately, I passed the exam so I definitely think it brought me good luck. There are various shrine goods available, making it enjoyable. Nearby is where Zenigata Heiji supposedly lived, and there are places to explore like Nikolai-do, but be prepared for the many slopes.

Thank you for the strawberry shaved ice! This shop is located a few minutes' walk from Ochanomizu Station, inside the grounds of Kanda Myojin Shrine. I visited around 1:30 pm on a weekday. They had appealing menu items like Katsu curry, Kanda Myojin pudding, and Masu parfait, all seeming to bring good luck. However, I couldn't resist ordering the strawberry shaved ice to beat the heat. It came with strawberry syrup, whipped cream, and mochi balls. It was delicious and refreshing.

You can relax and enjoy a cup of tea in between shrine visits. It's a very atmospheric and lovely cafe. They have various original menu items, all of which looked delicious. It's rare to find such a beautiful cafe within the shrine grounds. The meals and desserts are also very tasty.
