The other day when I went to Asakusa, I visited Sensoji Temple and it was extremely hot. I wanted to take a break somewhere, so I walked around and found a dumpling shop. I entered and enjoyed delicious dumplings in a cool shop. It was great! I will visit again!

I stopped by Heihei-san while strolling around Asakusa. It's a hidden gem located next to the Nakamise Street, and its gentle flavors are unbeatable by any other shops! It's recommended for when you're tired from walking or when you want to take a break for a bit! The atmosphere inside the shop is also great, perfect for those who want to feel the essence of Asakusa!

Tofu Milk Soft Serve ¥400
Crispy corn with slightly firm soft serve that has a strong tofu flavor! It's like rich soy milk soft serve that makes you go "wow, tofu!" The soft serve feels a bit light and the price of ¥400 seems a bit high.

I suddenly wanted to eat delicious dango! But when I tried to buy some, I couldn't find a dango shop easily. This shop finally satisfied my craving for dango that I had been holding inside. I tried the mitarashi dango this time. The perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. There was seating in the back of the shop and free water available. They also offered a drink and dango set. I need to get better at eating dango, as I tend to make a mess around my mouth when I eat the third piece.

I escaped to this place to avoid the crowds in Asakusa at the beginning of the year. It's right next to Nakamise Street, so the location is great. There may be lines in front of the store, but the turnover is fast, with customers either taking out food or dining inside. Enjoying dango and canned beer for a break is irresistible. The mitarashi dango is delicious as expected, but I also recommend the soy sauce dango, which has a fragrant finish.

The Asakusa area here is packed with people. While strolling through Nakamise after a long time, I caught a whiff of burnt soy sauce. I'm not a fan of mitarashi dango, but when it comes to raw soy sauce, I can't resist. I stopped to order seaweed and raw soy sauce. Both were fragrant and delicious. There are plenty of sweets around, but for those who don't like sweet things, this is a recommended spot for foodies.

I wait outside with my beloved dog while my partner lines up to order. A single dumpling costs 150 yen. We are directed to a bench near the entrance to enjoy our meal. The dumplings are lightly seasoned with seaweed and soy sauce, a classic combination. I have visited this place before and remember the delicious rice crackers they served.

A dumpling shop near Asakusa Temple. Had some dumplings with a Super Dry beer for a quick break. The dumplings were chewy and small but satisfying, very delicious. There is seating inside the shop for dining in. They accept PayPay payments. Thank you for the meal.

The store has a deep layout with a focus on matcha shaved ice and alcohol. The matcha shaved ice was not too sweet, and it came with a rice cake, providing a satisfying portion. However, I felt that the flavor was a bit weak, so I wish they would increase the intensity of the matcha. The store itself was fine, but I would have liked the air conditioning to be a bit stronger.

Located just off the Nakamise shopping street leading to Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa, this hidden gem of a dango shop is a must-visit. I tried their mitarashi dango, and it was the best I've ever had, with a generous amount of sweet soy sauce glaze. The dango itself was delicious, and their soft serve ice cream was also amazing.

Before my afternoon plans, I had some time to spare so I decided to stop by a casual shop for a set of small matcha tea and sweet rice dumplings, which are limited to this season. The dumplings had a cherry blossom filling that wasn't too sweet and was absolutely delicious. I also added a soy sauce flavor, which was equally tasty. The atmosphere inside the shop was casual and welcoming, making it easy for solo customers to feel comfortable. It had a vibe of a quick and easy dumpling shop in a traditional neighborhood. The shop also sells fried rice cakes, and while waiting for my dumplings, the friendly staff gave me a sample to try. The staff were approachable and added to the overall positive experience.

While walking back home, I happened to come across a dango shop in a back alley near Asakusa Temple. The delicious aroma of carefully baked dango tempted me to get a mitarashi dango to go. The sweet and savory sauce paired with the chewy and soft mochi was incredibly delicious. I definitely want to visit this dango shop again when I go to Asakusa. I'd love to try out their other flavors as well!

Today, while strolling through the bustling Nakamise street in Asakusa, I came across this shop. It's a shop selling rice cakes, offering a variety of flavors like soy sauce, nori, and more. I got a soy sauce rice cake to go and enjoyed it at a table in the back. The rice cake was soft and delicious, with a freshly made taste. The soy sauce had a rich flavor that complemented the rice cake well. I quickly finished it and left the shop. While Azuma-san in Nakamise offers sweet treats, this shop provides authentic rice cakes for a satisfying experience. It warmed both my body and soul. Thank you for the meal.

A specialty shop in Asakusa that sells dango. I visited for a snack at 3 o'clock on New Year's Day. I had a sudden craving for isobe mochi, and since there are few shops around Shiba Park where Zojoji Temple is located, I moved to Asakusa. You can eat in the store. There are 5 types of dango, all priced at 150 yen each, making it easy to understand. Tea is self-service. [Food] I ordered all types. ■Nori■Sweet and savory mitarashi.■Raw soy sauce■Plenty of sesame seed paste.■Red bean pasteCarefully made.

When you go to Asakusa, be sure to order the seaweed roll! ♡♡♡ Although eating outside the store has been banned in Asakusa recently, this store allows you to sit down and enjoy your meal, which I like. I always order the seaweed roll because it's my favorite. The sweet and salty taste is addictive, and I'm amazed at the price of only 150 yen. This is actually my favorite place to stop by every time I come to Asakusa.

About a 3-minute walk from Asakusa Station, tucked away one street from the Nakamise shopping street that leads to Senso-ji Temple, there's a hidden gem of a dumpling shop that only locals seem to know about. Located right near the Kongo Rikishi statue, the shop has a charming atmosphere with a spacious interior towards the back where you can enjoy dumplings and soft serve ice cream. Among the various options, the Mitarashi dumplings were particularly outstanding! They are freshly baked upon ordering, giving off a fragrant aroma and offering a chewy texture, complemented by a rich sauce that is incredibly delicious. We also ordered a matcha drink which was not too sweet and had a refreshing taste, perfect for sipping. As we head into the hot season, this place is ideal for a sweets-filled stroll! The walls are adorned with displayed fried mochi, and it seems you can even purchase items online as well. @asakusayohei This could be a nice treat for enjoying at home! They are open during Golden Week, making it a recommended spot for indulging in sweet treats while exploring Asakusa!

I went to this famous shop in Asakusa known for their rice cakes and rice crackers. I ordered the sweet and salty (mitarashi) sesame paste, soy sauce, seaweed, and green tea rice cakes. They bake the rice cakes after you order, so they were warm, chewy, and delicious. The green tea was not too bitter and just sweet enough. They also sold a variety of rice crackers in the store. They also had tofu milk ice cream for sale, which caught my interest since I love ice cream. I would love to visit again in the future.

It is located in the back street, not on the main street. I have passed by several times, but this was my first visit. I checked with them about the stroller and they said it was okay to leave it at the entrance and go inside because it gets narrow further in. The staff were very friendly, like mothers, and they were very kind to my daughter. We had the following: Mii Udon with fried mochi for ¥600, Matcha with a snack for ¥500, and Sakura dumplings for ¥200 (limited to spring season). The udon noodles were not too big, with a gentle dashi broth of kombu and bonito, and the combination with fried mochi was interesting! My daughter and I enjoyed it together. The sakura dumplings had a nice aroma and a salty taste similar to sakura mochi, and the appearance made us feel the spring vibes. We also had the cold matcha, and my daughter had a little bit too. We chose a pink sakura wagashi from a variety of Japanese sweets. We were seated at the table farthest back, so we could relax.

You can eat in. Tea is also free to drink. The rice cakes were average. The sweet soy sauce glaze looked shiny, everyone was taking pictures of it. The fried rice cakes sold in the store looked delicious. I'll try buying them next time!

This is located on the Nakamise Street in Asakusa. It's a bit off the beaten path, but Asakusa has a variety of foods that are great for eating while walking around. I was lured in by the calls and decided to try it out. What I ordered was... rice cakes with seaweed. Grilled rice cakes with seaweed. I don't usually eat this, but when I come to places like this, I feel like trying it. They grill it inside the shop, so it has a freshly made taste. You can also taste the grilled flavor, and the seaweed is crispy and adds a nice touch. After trying this, I became curious about other flavors... but I resisted. I will definitely go back. Thank you for the meal.
