When you go up the Pomegranate Hill next to the Shinagawa Prince Hotel, you can see the Grand Prince Hotel Shinagawa on the right side, and on the left side before that, there is a building of Montbell. "Harvest Terrace" is a restaurant located on the basement floor of Montbell's building, which deals with outdoor goods and more. It is a natural dining cafe that focuses on seasonal vegetables produced by Montbell. I had always thought there was a nice restaurant with a terrace along the way, so this time I stopped by for lunch on a weekday for the first time. You can see the cute terrace from the ground. It was already past 1:30 pm when I arrived because I had just watched a movie. The spacious restaurant had available seats, and we were able to enter smoothly. The relaxed table layout and stylish interior with a terrace make it a comfortable space for dining. Since there were two of us, we ordered the beef stew and hamburger set from the menu. The beef stew came in a cute red cocotte, which is heat-resistant. The special stew from Harvest Terrace, simmered for 6 hours, was unexpectedly light. At first, it felt like drinking soup, but the richness and depth of flavor became more apparent and delicious as I ate more. I finished by generously dipping the soft baguette in the stew. The dressing on the salad that came with it was quite delicious. The hamburger arrived on a skillet, known for its high heat retention. Indeed, whether it's a cocotte or a skillet, the containers unique to Montbell, essential for camping gear. The hamburger, baked with demiglace sauce, blended well with the sauce, resulting in a delicious dish with excellent umami. On top of the skillet, there were carrots, potatoes, broccoli, salad, and rice with grains, making it a set. The rich and delicious sauce of the hamburger alone can be eaten with rice. It was to my liking. By sharing and eating the beef stew and hamburger, we were able to enjoy two different flavors. Beef Stew 1,460 yen Hamburger Set 1,260 yen For an additional 210 yen, you can get a drink set with the lunch menu. The coffee is made from coffee beans from Rainforest Alliance certified farms. I had a delicious coffee with depth after the meal. The lunch menu until 5:00 pm also includes Gapao Rice, Baked Curry Set, Keema Curry, Green Curry, Chicken Curry, Soup Set, and more, allowing you to enjoy a cost-effective lunch. The staff were also friendly, making it a wonderful restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. Thank you for the meal.
