野良パンダム
Revisited. A set meal restaurant near Ebisu Station. It operates in a cafeteria style where customers can freely choose the dishes they want to eat, hence the name "Fu Teishoku" (incomplete set meal). Although it is a bit pricey, the set meals here are a bit more elaborate than regular set meal restaurants, with features like rice cooked in a clay pot and grilled fish. If you're craving a delicious breakfast, Fu Teishoku is the place to go. So, I decided to pay a visit. I went during breakfast time. Last time I visited, there weren't many customers, but this time it was bustling from the morning. They are definitely winning over the hearts of customers. During breakfast time, the choices for main dishes are limited (salmon or ham and eggs), but as I was aiming for the grilled salmon, it was not a problem for me. I chose the silver rice cooked in a clay pot over multigrain rice. Of course, I also ordered miso soup. There were various appetizers lined up that looked delicious and made me want to try them all, but I restrained myself and only got the dried daikon radish. Grilled salmon (500 yen), dried daikon radish (200 yen), 6 types of mushroom soup (200 yen), clay pot silver rice (150 yen), total of 1050 yen. After placing my order, I sat at a random empty seat and waited for the dishes to arrive. There was an improvement from before. Previously, the rice and soup were served first while waiting for the salmon to be grilled. This caused the rice and soup to get cold by the time the salmon arrived. However, they have now synchronized the timing of the food delivery with the grilled salmon, which was a great improvement. Enjoying the freshly grilled salted salmon with freshly cooked silver rice was pure bliss. I believe that this happiness is something all Japanese people can agree on. The mushroom soup with its aroma and the flavor of miso blended perfectly, making it a dish on its own. Japanese breakfast is just like this, right? The rice is really delicious. I finished every last grain in the bowl, feeling grateful for being born Japanese. It may be a bit pricey for breakfast, but sometimes indulging in a slightly luxurious breakfast like this is necessary for mental stability.
