We enjoyed a course meal featuring yakitori and other dishes like boiled tofu. There was also an option for all-you-can-drink. The restaurant opens at 3:00 pm and was quite busy, possibly due to an event at the nearby stadium. The staff, mostly young, were very efficient and quick with serving drinks. In addition to the course, we also ordered a mixed skewer plate, homemade thick fried tofu, and the highlight was the soy milk hot pot soup, which was delicious! Definitely a place worth visiting again. We sat at the counter this time, but next time, we would like to try sitting in a private room.

I stopped by on my way back from the hot Jingu Stadium to Gaienmae Station. I am a repeat customer. The tofu and sashimi are delicious, and the sake, especially the bamboo sake, is also tasty. Today's recommended dishes were Kagawa's specialty bone-in chicken, fresh saury, conger eel, and eel. It's nice to have recommended dishes. It's a bit expensive, so for those with big appetites, they might be hesitant to go for the first time because of the bill. However, it's delicious.

Everything was delicious. We didn't have a reservation, but we were given a wonderful seat. There were private rooms available, and the sake was tasty. The staff were also very kind. We tried the famous tofu, which was really delicious. The vegetables were fresh, and the sashimi was also fresh. The location was excellent, and they also served duck hot pot, which I would like to try in the winter.

I sweated a lot because of the heat, and the train seemed crowded, so I randomly entered a shop without any prior information. Well, beer tastes good when you're sweaty, but the food was just okay. Marugame-style grilled chicken was definitely better at Ichiran. I shouldn't try to imitate casually. I didn't take any photos because I just entered the shop on a whim.

It is located underground on the way back from Jingu Stadium. Dropped in casually and enjoyed sashimi, grilled eel, and simmered dishes to relax and unwind. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Everything was delicious, and the head chef was kind and fun, teaching us about various dishes. We each had two drinks, and with dishes like tofu, bone-in meat, sashimi, salad, cheese tofu, and smoked herring roe, the total came to just over 10,000 yen! Great value for money and definitely coming back!

The yakitori and sashimi were delicious. The uni onigiri I had at the end was also good in terms of portion size and value for money. The prices are a bit high, but the menu is extensive and the dishes are satisfying. I visited on a Friday night and I recommend making a reservation for a smoother experience!

After a five-month hiatus, we visited a rare izakaya where you can drink in the afternoon for the second time. We ordered freshly made tofu, a sashimi platter, and other dishes, keeping it light since it was daytime. While all the dishes were good, they seemed a bit pricey. We had one draft beer and three Shizuoka Highballs (green tea highballs), totaling just under 14,000 yen for two people. We were told our time was up after about two hours, even though it was only around 4 pm, which was a bit disappointing.

I made a reservation for Saturday at 3:00 pm for my first visit to the restaurant. I arrived 15 minutes early and started with a draft beer. I ordered edamame and fried chicken, followed by freshly made tofu and yuba sashimi with various condiments. I also ordered domestic liver sashimi, which was cooked at low temperature and was delicious. I had a very luxurious time and enjoyed the meal. Thank you for the feast!

Visited on April 29, 2022 (Friday) because it caught my attention. Located in Minato-ku, Tokyo, near Meiji Jingu Stadium. Entered at 8:50 PM with few customers at the time. More customers flooded in later, likely from the soccer game at the National Stadium, which was impressive given the heavy rain. Baseball games were understandably canceled. Ordered the following items (in no particular order): Freshly made tofu: 968 yen, Assorted grilled chicken skewers (5 pieces): forgot the price, Smoked salmon and avocado salad: 1078 yen, Rolled omelette with dashi broth: 528 yen, Grilled rice balls: 638 yen, Fluffy chicken and egg rice bowl: 968 yen, Cheese tofu with smoked bonito flakes: 638 yen, Tofu dumplings: 720 yen, Assorted pickles: 638 yen, Cheese tofu: 636 yen, Draft beer (medium): 660 yen, Freshly squeezed lemon sour: 605 yen. Got full from the meal. The grilled chicken skewers were particularly tender and perfectly cooked. The chicken and egg rice bowl we had at the end was incredibly delicious. The tofu, although tasty, was priced a bit high. There were too many condiments that we couldn't finish. Each dish was meticulously prepared. It's easy to see why the restaurant gets crowded. The interior had a stylish Japanese izakaya vibe. Shoes were stored in lockable shoe lockers at the entrance. There were many 4-person tables and counter seats. The tables were separated by partitions. The staff, consisting of both female and male members, worked efficiently. The service was average. Completely non-smoking, which was appreciated.

This is a restaurant located on the way to Jingu Stadium and Chichibunomiya Rugby Stadium from Gaienmae Station. Therefore, on game days, the place is filled with fans. The food is also tasty, but it feels a bit overpriced. The 550 yen appetizer is expensive. (Additional note) I ordered the shirako with ponzu sauce but it took about 30 minutes to be served, as if it was forgotten. When I mentioned it, they brought it out right away. Later, when I was organizing the receipt, I found out that they had charged me for 2 shirako with ponzu sauce! Being forced to pay an extra thousand yen is not acceptable for a simple mistake. It seems like a common mistake, so they should be more careful about it.

When I drink with friends, we usually decide to come here. My favorite is the freshly made tofu and edamame pickles. The tofu is smooth, and with 6 types of condiments plus soy sauce, the flavor never gets boring even when eating alone. The edamame pickles are impossible to replicate at home, so sometimes I come here just for that. On this day, I finished with sea bream ochazuke. The atmosphere of the restaurant is like a hidden gem, with a nice ambiance and clean restrooms.

The restaurant is located a 2-minute walk from Gaienmae Station, not too far from the parking lot on the opposite side. It's a rare find in Gaienmae to have a Japanese restaurant with private rooms located on the basement floor near the station, giving it a hidden gem vibe. I ordered tofu and oden, both of which were delicious. The tofu came with various condiments and was exquisite on its own. The oden was lightly seasoned, which suited my taste, and the daikon radish was especially good. To finish off, the uni butter rice ball was innovative in both name and taste. Despite its hidden gem atmosphere, the prices are reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food.

Top League Cup final. In between the doubleheader, I stopped by for a quick drink refill. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with "2 cups of hot sake". Tofu and umeshu. I got a refill on my drink, and after about 30 minutes, I hurried out. I'm sorry for always using this place like this. I'll definitely come back for a more leisurely visit. Nearby ramen shops and lunch places were packed with similar customers. In contrast, this bar, which operates continuously, was relatively empty. It may be a bit pricey, but having a calm space to relax amidst the hustle and bustle is greatly appreciated.

After watching a baseball game, I spent about an hour relaxing. There were many types of Japanese sake available, and customers kept coming in. The food options were also great and went well with the sake, very delicious. I recommend it for those who love Japanese sake.

The day we went may have been unlucky, but the staff seemed overwhelmed and the service was not great. The restaurant is not very big. The female staff members were friendly though. We spent 27,500 yen for 6 people (about 4,500 yen per person). The restaurant seems confident in their tofu, but it didn't have any distinct features.

Although the prices are high, the portions are very small. The seasoning is simple and delicious. The drink menu for all-you-can-drink is limited, similar to what you would find at a casual bar. Overall, it's a place for enjoying a drink with Japanese-style snacks. The dim atmosphere is nice. The customer service is excellent, suitable for any age group. Not ideal for young people's gatherings or for those who are into gourmet dining.

Sashimi and tofu are delicious. Kombu and cream cheese are surprisingly perfect as a side dish for alcohol!

I went to watch the Top League finals and third-place playoff at Chichibu Rugby Stadium. After the first game ended around 1 pm, feeling more cold than hungry, we decided to refuel at a nearby restaurant where we could also have some drinks instead of waiting in line at ramen shops. We quickly enjoyed some warm homemade tofu, two types of oden, and 4 servings of hot sake with 3 people. The staff were used to customers like us and even gave us a cheer, saying, "Good luck with the game! lol". Next time, we'll come after the game ends!

Great value for money near the station with solid COVID-19 measures in place! I visited for the first time and was pleased to see that there were sturdy vinyl dividers between seats in the restaurant, which provided some peace of mind. The all-you-can-drink menu was extensive with delicious options like oden, yakitori, and sashimi, all of which I found to be tasty and reasonably priced. The service was also quick and efficient. I definitely want to visit again.
