This is my first visit. It's a bit difficult to get to as it takes a 15-minute walk from Higashi-Koganei Station, but if you have a car, there is parking space for about 10 cars making it easy to access. Inside the restaurant, there are round tables and regular tables, as well as a few outdoor terrace tables. When I visited around noon on a weekday, the place was full and there was one customer waiting inside. Today, I ordered the Ippai soba for 650 yen and half fried rice for 350 yen. It arrived in about 10 minutes. Ippai soba is a type of oil-based ramen with chashu, green onions, bamboo shoots, and fish cake on top. The noodles are thick and chewy with a rich wheat flavor, and the slightly salty sauce makes it delicious to eat. I enjoyed it with green onions and bamboo shoots, and there were various condiments on the table such as mayonnaise, vinegar, garlic, pickled ginger, pepper, sauce, and chili oil to customize the taste. Some regular customers, mostly young people, were adding a lot of condiments to their dish, but I personally enjoyed it in its original form. Towards the end, I got a bit tired of the flavor, so I added pickled ginger and vinegar for a different taste. As for the fried rice, it was delicious! It had a rich lard flavor with ingredients like eggs, finely chopped pickled ginger, and chashu. It was hot and freshly stir-fried, with a nice crispy texture to the rice. I realized afterwards that it was quite oily, but I still preferred it over the soba. The kimchi fried rice that the person next to me was eating also looked very delicious. I might try that next time. Thank you for the meal.
