I used to have lunch here once, and at that time it was a plate with charcuterie, leafy greens, and bread. The liver pate was delicious, but overall it didn't really impress me, so I hadn't been back since. However, I was surprised to find out that they had changed to a buffet style for their meals. When did this happen? Fairly recently, right? So, I decided to revisit. The lunch hours are mentioned on the company's official website until 5 pm, but now with the buffet format, it seems to be until 3 pm with the last order at 3:30 pm. Just a heads up. When I arrived at almost 1 pm, the place was packed with mostly women, actually, all customers except me were women. Be prepared for mostly female customers, except for couples. The change in concept was definitely a good decision as there was a lot of energy with customers coming in one after another. I ordered the lobster bisque and croquettes. The buffet had leaf lettuce, pickled cabbage, sausages, potato salad, a few fried items, and even prosciutto. There were also desserts, drinks, and bread. I felt like there was a lack of vegetables, maybe some coleslaw would have been nice. But I was surprised to see sfogliatella. It was my first time seeing it at a buffet. I had a variety of items from the buffet until my plate arrived. There was dressing next to the lettuce, but with prosciutto available, I rolled it up with the leafy greens and enjoyed it. The sausages were delicious, as expected, and the potato salad had plenty of ingredients which was nice. However, after trying everything, I felt that everything was quite salty. Each dish seemed more like a wine accompaniment than a lunch dish, which is expected from a charcuterie specialist. For someone like me, who is mostly in the coffin, if you have lunch here, you might want to consider the salt content for your other meals of the day. When my plate arrived, the bisque was a must-try for sure. It had a great flavor for those who like it. The consistency was thicker than minestrone but not as thick as a potage, and it had plenty of ingredients. The croquettes, although small in size, had a great texture and were satisfying. However, I later found out that you could choose just the lobster bisque for a cheaper price. This is just my personal opinion, but lobsters are basically crayfish, so the meat is too protein-heavy. In terms of flavor, I actually think that prawns are much tastier. I'll go with that next time. By the way, the menu is written in French for the bisque only, and in English for the bisque and croquette set. I wonder if there's a profound reason for this...
