Shibuya Station is a 7-8 minute walk away. Despite being a bit far from the station, this area is filled with intriguing dining options. Among them, there is a particularly intriguing restaurant called "Gyoya Gouban." I've heard that you can eat delicious fish here. Although we love meat, we also have a great love for seafood. This is definitely going to be amazing! So, this time, I made a reservation for the "Gouban Special Course with All-You-Can-Drink" for 7,000 yen per person. This is going to be a fantastic experience! ■ Upon entering the restaurant! This restaurant is located in a somewhat hard-to-find place. This time, I was led to a private room upon entering the restaurant. As I sat down, I noticed hand-written messages that added a nice touch. Since we ordered a course, there was no need to choose dishes, but we could select drinks from the all-you-can-drink menu. The all-you-can-drink menu had a great lineup, and as a beer lover, I was delighted to see Ebisu beer on the list. So, I started with a toast with beer! I couldn't wait to try the amazing seafood that was about to be served. ■ The dishes arrive! ■ Green Salad First up was the salad. It was quite refreshing. ■ Assorted Sashimi Next, an incredible platter of sashimi arrived! The variety was impressive, with sparkling white fish, salmon, horse mackerel, shellfish, sea urchin, and more. It was incredibly delicious! ■ Negitoro and Avocado Garlic Toast Next was the garlic toast with negitoro and avocado. It was a unique dish, and surprisingly, the combination worked really well. It was a great accompaniment to the drinks. ■ Dancing Ebi (Shrimp) Next was the restaurant's specialty, the Dancing Ebi (Shrimp)! It looked incredibly fresh and had a delightful texture. This is a must-try dish! ■ Seared Mackerel Next up was the seared mackerel. The aroma was delightful, and the seared mackerel was delicious. ■ Recommended Grilled Fish Another impressive dish was the grilled fish. The different taste after grilling made it even more enjoyable. ■ Fried Shrimp Head A fried shrimp head was served, which was a unique way to enjoy every part of the shrimp. It was amazing! ■ Fried Chicken Surprisingly, fried chicken was served in the midst of seafood dishes. It was incredibly delicious and a perfect accompaniment to the drinks. ■ Ribbed Daikon Radish Next was the daikon radish, which had a gentle yet flavorful taste. It was very comforting. ■ Crab Cream Croquette Another fried dish was the crab cream croquette. It was filled with crab meat and had a satisfying crunch. It was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. ■ Uni (Sea Urchin) and Mentaiko (Spicy Cod Roe) Cream Pasta Lastly, we had the pasta with uni and mentaiko in a rich cream sauce. The combination was perfect, and the dish was incredibly flavorful. It was so delicious that I would be impressed even if it was served at a regular pasta restaurant! Overall, every dish that was served was delicious! With all this food and all-you-can-drink for 7,000 yen, the cost performance was excellent. The restaurant is a bit hidden away from Shibuya Station, giving it a cozy, hidden gem vibe. I definitely want to visit again soon.

I used the a la carte menu at night. I had about 3 drinks and ordered various food items, totaling around 7,000 yen per person. The dishes were delicious and many were elaborately prepared, so I felt satisfied. Their specialty seemed to be the "dancing shrimp," and when I ordered it, they served it with the head deep-fried, which made me happy. The staff were all energetic and friendly, making it a great place for friends or casual dates.

I made a reservation around 4:00 PM on the day of, and when I arrived at 7:00 PM as agreed, the restaurant was full inside and out. All walk-in customers were being turned away, so I recommend making a reservation before going. The complimentary salad had wonton skins on top and was delicious. The dancing shrimp dish ended up being made with button shrimp instead of caridean shrimp since they were out of stock. The grilled pork belly and salmon roe were rich and perfect for pairing with alcohol. The sashimi platter was all fresh and tasty. The fried corn, recommended by the staff, was seasoned and very delicious. I definitely want to eat it again! The beef tendon daikon dish had a strong impact with the daikon. The seared mackerel was my favorite dish of all! The braised shellfish liver was also a great accompaniment to alcohol. I chose Imayotsukasa sake. Finally, we were served miso soup as a complimentary service. The staff were all energetic and friendly. I want to go back to try the dishes I couldn't eat.

On the 5th day of a trip to meet someone who has taken care of us, three of us visited this place. We enjoyed the "Ebi no Odori" dish, sashimi platter, and grilled nodoguro. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented, attracting many young customers. Reservations are essential even on weekdays, as some groups were turned away. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I have always wanted to go to an izakaya located a short walk from Shibuya Station. I have tried to drop in a few times on the day, but of course it was always full. This time, I was thinking about where to go for the second place, and as a last resort, I called and miraculously there were 2 seats available and I was lucky enough to get in. As soon as I sat at the counter, I was surprised by the affordability of Yamazaki and Hakushu. There were many seafood dishes, and I was very impressed by the freshness that could be enjoyed at this price in Shibuya. I often go to Shibuya, so next time I will make a reservation and visit!

Gozan-san Sengyo in Shibuya is a great value restaurant known for its fresh seafood! The highlights of the meal were the live shrimp, daikon with pork belly, natto rolls, and boiled shellfish liver. While we didn't order the assorted sashimi, most customers seemed to be enjoying it. The live shrimp was so fresh that it was still moving when served. The service of turning the shrimp heads and tails into tempura after we finished eating was a nice touch. This is a great place to stop by for a casual meal in Shibuya. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Fresh and delicious sashimi, with a good cost-performance ratio. The shrimp is prepared on the spot, giving it a nice texture. The fried shrimp heads are a nice touch. The daikon radish in the oden is flavorful. They have a wide variety of drinks and private rooms for groups. However, it was disappointing that even though we arrived late due to the restaurant's schedule, they still had a 2-hour time limit.

I found the restaurant on Instagram, checked the reviews on Tabelog, and made a reservation! It was my first visit, and the food was as delicious as the comments said. The complimentary salad was a nice touch. The sashimi, seared mackerel, chijimi, and potatoes were all consistently tasty. I forgot to take a picture, but the fried corn was the highlight of today. It would have been even better if there were more types of sake available.

I was taken to this restaurant by a friend for the first time. We opted for the course menu on the day, and I was amazed by how delicious and abundant the dishes were! The all-you-can-drink menu included Ebisu beer and shochu with soda. The food was so tasty that I forgot to take photos, but luckily I managed to capture the sashimi platter! The dancing shrimp dish was also very fresh! If you ever have the chance to go to Shibuya, be sure to make a reservation before going!

- Access: 8 minutes walk from Shibuya Station - Overview: A seafood izakaya near Tokyu Hands. I visited around 7:30 on a Saturday without a reservation and managed to get a table for two. The sashimi and grilled fish are delicious, but they also have creative dishes that are equally tasty. The staff is energetic and the atmosphere is lively. - Menu: - Otoshi: A large plate of salad is served as a complimentary appetizer. - Mackerel Potato Salad: Mackerel is grilled and mixed into potato salad. The salty flavor of the mackerel surprisingly complements the sweetness of the potato salad. Delicious! - Assorted Sashimi (6 pieces): Tuna, yellowtail, horse mackerel, whelk, firefly squid, and salmon were included in the assortment. This is a must-order dish with fresh, generously cut sashimi that is very tasty. The whelk was particularly delicious on this day. - Negi and Octopus Half-Cooked Omelette: The octopus adds a nice flavor and texture to this dish. Topped with sauce and mayonnaise, it has a street food feel and is delicious. - Pork Belly and Daikon: A dish where pork belly and daikon are simmered in Okinawan-style broth. This seems to be one of the signature dishes of the restaurant, with the daikon standing tall. It's great with some coriander sauce. - Uni and Mentaiko Cream Pasta: The name alone guarantees its deliciousness. The rich flavor of sea urchin, the saltiness of mentaiko, and the cream combine to create a sinful taste. - Overflowing Sushi: A sushi roll filled generously with negitoro, flying fish roe, pickled radish, and crab. You're bound to have leftovers with this one! - Impression: If you're looking for reasonably priced and delicious seafood in Shibuya, this place comes highly recommended. The staff's energy is contagious. Thank you for the meal. #Shibuya #UoYagyogwan #Sashimi

I was surprised by the drastic change at Shibuya Station on the Ginza Line, but visited a seafood restaurant recommended by my colleague. We pushed through the 10-person terrace seats at the entrance and sat at a 4-person table inside. The 5,500 yen course not only had a generous portion, but also included 5-6 types of sashimi, making it a great value for money! The dancing shrimp was still moving even after its body was removed, showing its freshness. The texture was also firm! The 4-person table was a bit small, but I would like to visit again.

I went to Gowan in Shibuya Jinbo Matsutao because I wanted to eat some fish. In this area, I could only think of Fishman's 3rd Base, but as you move further away from the station, there are many delicious individual restaurants. Passing by Awesome Street and Tiger Gyoza, I turned left and found Gowan, a popular spot. Nearby, East Blue (Hanare) has also opened, so it might be easier to make a reservation now. The best part of One Piece was when they entered the Grand Line from East Blue and before the Going Merry disappeared. Honestly, I didn't need the skeleton and Frankie. In the restaurant, the sashimi platter with Kanpachi, Sea Bream, Octopus, and Tuna was all fresh and incredibly delicious. They were not juicy. The scallops from Iwate were also large and fresh. The sake was surprisingly normal. You can also try the eyeball shrimp dance, but if you're not a fan of the appearance, you might not like it. With about four cups of sake per person, you'll be full for around 5000 yen, which is surprisingly cost-effective and delicious for a fish restaurant. It's worth the walk. You can also use this place as the second stop after a dining bar in Jinbo. Highly recommended. #food #food diary #food record #want to connect with people who like to eat #food #food walk #gourmet #want to connect with gourmet lovers #want to connect with gourmet people #food walk #meshitero #recommended restaurant #hidden gem #sashimi #seafood #sake #bounty of the sea #izakaya #izakaya menu #oysters #meat #fish #One Piece #Shibuya #Shibuya gourmet #Jinbo #Jinbo gourmet #Gowan

This is a restaurant with a wide variety of fish dishes. I mainly ordered sashimi and had plenty to drink. The cost performance is quite high. The raw shrimp and fried chicken were delicious! When I finished eating the shrimp, the antennae and tail were still moving, which surprised me a little.

We went as a company team so I couldn't take many photos, but it was a really great restaurant. I was a bit worried because the owner's Instagram looked flashy, but seeing them take the lead in the kitchen and serving customers, I understood why it's so popular. It's a bit far from the station, but other than that, it's a great place with no complaints! I don't remember having a delicious seafood meal in Shibuya, but this place is exceptional. It's suitable for any occasion! - Address: 1F Yanagimitsu Building, 11-11 Udagawacho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo - Reservation: Available - Business hours: Monday-Sunday 17:00-24:00 (Last order 23:00) - Payment methods: Various credit cards =======MENU======= - Assorted sashimi, live shrimp eating, seared mackerel, etc. Tabelog rating: 3.45 Actual cost: 6,000 yen Instagram ID: tam_gourmet_

I met up with an acquaintance I hadn't seen in a while in Shibuya, which was chosen as a convenient middle ground for both of us. I'm not a big fan of Shibuya, so I don't visit often and didn't know where to go. I left it up to them and ended up at this place. It seemed to specialize in fish dishes, so we ordered a sashimi platter, grilled nodoguro, and started with beer before switching to sake. It was a bit disappointing that they only had draft beer, not bottled. The sashimi was fresh and nicely presented with a good variety and amount. The nodoguro was cooked just right. We switched to highballs later and ordered simmered daikon and my favorite crab cream croquettes to fill us up. When we paid the bill, we were surprised at how affordable it was. It made sense that there were a lot of young customers in the area. Personally, I'm not sure if I'll come back, but I would if the opportunity arises.

The dancing-eating shrimp dish was delicious with firm and creamy ankimo, rich shirako, and plump oysters. The crab cream croquette was also tasty. The interior of the restaurant had a cozy countryside izakaya vibe and the service was friendly. Although the reservation was for a table, we ended up sitting at the counter. At 9000 yen per person, the cost performance was not great. It was delicious, but the atmosphere and service did not quite match the price.

A lively izakaya in Shibuya with delicious fish dishes. It's about a 10-minute walk from the station, so access isn't great, but it's always crowded! Ordered: - Assorted sashimi (6 pieces) - Grilled ribbed daikon (recommended) - Shirako (milt) with ponzu sauce - Crab cream croquette (recommended) - Salmon belly. The grilled ribbed daikon was a bit hard to eat but had a delicious flavor. The crab cream croquette was so good we ordered seconds. They have a wide variety of drinks which was nice. Thank you for the meal!

I found the best seafood izakaya in Shibuya! It's clear why it's so popular. Every dish was delicious - especially the creamy pasta with sea urchin and spicy cod roe that we had as the final course. The quality of the restaurant is evident in their sashimi. This is a great place. It would be nice if they served sake by the glass. 😊

Hidden shop located in a back alley after climbing the slope at Tokyu Hands in Shibuya. The atmosphere inside was quite lively. We ordered the all-you-can-drink course with live shrimp, which is their specialty. We also added some oysters, which were cheap, large, and very delicious! The salad, sashimi, chicken, and crab cream croquettes were all delicious too! Furthermore, the service from the staff was excellent! I definitely want to go back to this place again!

I made a reservation the day before this time, after my last attempt to walk-in ended in failure. Even on a weekday after 9pm, customers kept coming in, including groups of foreigners. Despite being in a poorly visible location in an alley (though all the eateries in this alley seem to be thriving), this place is popular. The clientele is typically young, in their 20s to early 30s, with a smoking rate of just under 40%. The staff consists of 5 people, including 2 foreigners, and they are good at recommending dishes. The atmosphere and prices remind me of a izakaya I used to frequent on dates a quarter of a century ago (like the proper izakayas in Osaka, haha). They serve fish-based appetizers on ice-filled plates, and the appetizer salad is served on a large plate. They don't give receipts, so the total cost is unclear, but for two people staying for about an hour and a half, it was a little over 9,000 yen.

I think it's top-level delicious at the izakaya in Shibuya! The sashimi and shrimp sashimi were delicious, but what was especially impressive was the "fried corn," "grilled daikon radish," "negitoro and avocado garlic toast," "crab cream croquette," and "sea urchin and mentaiko cream pasta." I forgot to take pictures and ended up eating them all...
