Located in Nakano-ku, Tokyo. This is the main store of Yokohama-style ramen Musashikoya, which operates mainly in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba. Established in 1997. Managed by "Astrale Corporation," which operates food and beverage businesses. The nearest station is Shin-Nakano Station on the Marunouchi Line. It is right by the station, along Ome Kaido. On Tabelog, it has a rating of 3.57 (as of November 2021). The main store is really delicious♪♪♪(๑❛ڡ❛๑) Yummy!! Nakano is my birthplace. I lived there until I was around 3 years old (more in Sasazuka, Shibuya-ku), but I don't remember much. It's been about 5 years since I last visited. I stepped in after a long time ('-')*♪ "Yokohama-style ramen Musashikoya" is the ramen shop I use the most♪ I have eaten at several locations multiple times in the past☆٩(。•ω<。)و Yay~ Past visits: Tomei Kawasaki Store: 1 visit Higashikoganei Store: 2 visits Chitose-Karasuyama Store: 2 visits Hatagaya Store: 2 visits Musashisakai Store: 2 visits Meidaimae Store: 1 visit Inadazutsumi Store: 2 visits Mitaka Store: 2 visits Akitsu Store: 1 visit Kokuryo Store: 50 or more visits I have visited the Kokuryo Store more than 50 times because it is local. First, let's try the soup♪ It's rich. High-quality tonkotsu chicken soy sauce broth with viscosity. As expected of the main store, it's better than any Musashikoya I've had before. I wanted to taste the flavor of the main store after a long time and decided to visit. It was a good distance for a drive. I arrived at the shop around 12:20. There is a coin parking nearby (parking fee was around 400 yen for 20 minutes, I think...). I was seated right away without waiting. All the Musashikya stores have efficient staff and I like how quickly they turn over customers. This time, I ordered the large ramen (firm noodles, strong flavor) with rice. The bowl was served in about 5 minutes. The soup had a perfect balance of animal flavor and seasoning. The flavor was especially exquisite. It had been a while since I last had it, but as expected! There is also a Musashikya in Chiba, but I feel like only the Nakano main store can produce this taste (excluding the Ura Musashikya). This is a restaurant with a taste that makes you want to eat it, rather than just craving it. I will come again. Thank you for the meal.

You can sit without waiting after 6 pm on weekdays. I finally visited the original branch of Musashikya, a ramen shop listed in the home-style ramen shop list! I ordered the chashu-men with free seasoned egg and rice! The noodles were made by Sakai Seimen, which was reliable, and the soup had just the right amount of flavor. I love the taste of Musashikya, and the original branch had the consistently best taste. I'm glad I was able to eat at the original branch. I would like to try eating at other branches as well.

In between the raging waves of life, this dish is so delicious that it's a problem... haha. I had the "Honten Ramen" at the main store after a long time. It costs 900 yen. Musashikaya is one of the top-class Tokyo-style ramen shops, and the special feeling of eating at the main store feels like a reward to myself. The rich soup and firm noodles I ordered soothe my tired body. I want to keep eating this even when I become an old man. I will visit for the rest of my life! Thank you for the meal.

On Sunday at 4:00 PM, there were no waiting customers at the spacious counter. The meal is free, and you can sit at any available seat. I ordered a regular ramen with chashu, seaweed, and spinach, with medium noodles. Water is self-serve. The ramen cost 800 yen. After enjoying the meal with rice, thank you for the feast.

The Musashi family restaurant is so well-known that almost everyone must have heard of it. When the craving for their family ramen strikes in the middle of the night, I would even take a taxi just to go there. The restaurant's consistent deliciousness and late-night hours are truly appreciated!

I had the special ramen for 1000 yen. It was my first visit. It was my first time trying the combination of tonkotsu ramen and cabbage, and I found the texture interesting and delicious. The free rice refill at Musashiya made me very satisfied and full. Overall, I was very pleased.

I used this place after work. They offer all-you-can-eat oshinko for 50 yen with free rice refills, so I recommend going on an empty stomach. Adding garlic, ginger, and black pepper from the table will surely increase your appetite. Personally, I recommend adding spinach toppings to avoid feeling too heavy. If you have room, try ordering with firm noodles, extra oil, and extra flavor.

I finished eating here where the line was still long until late at night. Even after 11 PM, there were still people waiting inside the restaurant. I had a half-size bowl of the original ramen with extra seaweed and spinach. I also had a free extra serving of rice and added ginger, garlic, chili bean paste, and pickled ginger to change up the flavors. It's impressive that I adjusted my ramen order at the izakaya before coming here.

During work in Nakano, I had lunch at Musashiya Nakano Honten. It was almost full as it was lunchtime. I ordered the special ramen set for 1000 yen from the ticket machine and grabbed the service rice ticket before sitting at the available counter seat. I requested the noodles to be firm, and soon the special ramen set and rice were served. The special ramen had the standard toppings of seaweed, spinach, and chashu, with the addition of cabbage and flavored egg. I took a sip of the soup - it was rich and stimulating, clinging to my throat. Delicious! The noodles were medium-thick and had a nice texture that matched the strong soup well. The chashu was tender and good, and the flavored egg, though salty, paired perfectly with the rice. The cabbage was a nice palate cleanser between bites of the rich soup and strong noodles. I enjoyed wrapping the rice in seaweed, adding green onions and chili bean paste, and could have eaten many more bowls. I wanted to finish the soup, but decided to stop. For those new to the house style ramen, I recommend reading the eating tips provided at the counter seats. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this shop located a 1-minute walk from Exit 2 of Shin-Nakano Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. I arrived at around 19:30 and there were 5 people waiting outside. I entered the shop in about 10 minutes. There were 5 customers already inside. The shop has a counter with 12 seats and no partitions. I purchased a regular ramen for 800 yen from the ticket machine, choosing firm noodles. Next to the ticket machine, there was a note saying that rice or half rice is free, so if you want it, you can take it from there and hand it over with your ticket. This time, I had half rice. The ramen was served in 5 minutes. On the table, there were condiments like vinegar, sesame seeds, chili bean paste, garlic, and pickled cucumber. The soup was a delicious pork bone soy sauce flavor with a sharp soy sauce taste. The noodles were medium thickness from Sakai Seimen, but they might be considered thin for a typical ramen shop. The toppings included chashu, spinach, and seaweed. I enjoyed adding the condiments throughout the meal. Thank you for the meal.

I had some errands nearby and happened to see the sign for Musashiya. I've heard of Musashiya before! Maybe it's a ramen shop with a catchy slogan... I wonder what it's like... I've never experienced a catchy slogan before... Feeling excited, I entered the shop! First, I purchased a meal ticket and chose the original ramen. The shop only had counter seating. I sat down and handed the meal ticket to the staff, who asked, "Would you like rice with your meal?" It was already past lunchtime, so I decided to skip the rice for dinner. They asked, "How would you like it?" I was curious if there was a catchy slogan after all! I nervously looked at the poster on the wall behind the counter, where the options were written. I chose everything as usual. There were various condiments on the counter, with a note next to them saying, "Our ramen is made to go well with rice." Oh no, I should have ordered rice... I'll have to come back when I can eat a lot and enjoy both. The ramen arrived with a bang! It was rich and the noodles were chewy. I wanted rice now! All the toppings could be side dishes for rice! I wanted to shout "Jojo!" in my mind as I silently longed for white rice while finishing my meal. I wanted to slurp up all the soup too... but it's a bit daunting to finish it all as a woman dining alone at a ramen shop. Damn it! If only I had ordered rice! I would have finished it all... (regretting not ordering it midway through) So, I have a goal for next time: "Order rice and enjoy everything." I realized that I should do some research before entering a place with this kind of atmosphere when I'm hungry. It was so delicious, I will definitely go back soon!

The ramen at this store is delicious with seaweed, half a boiled egg, extra spinach, and extra chashu. The noodles are firm and it was my last visit before the price increase. This combination is my favorite! The seaweed, chashu, and egg make the rice go down smoothly. Please don't raise the price, especially for the chashu!

800 yen for Ajitama Ramen with firm noodles, less oil, and extra spinach x2. Got free rice, which was a nice bonus. As always, delicious! Heard they will be increasing prices starting June 1st, which is sad. Spinach is great in this dish as it doesn't interfere with the texture like cabbage does. The rice also complements the soup well.

[Musashiya Nakano Honten Ramen, Shin-Nakano] Regular Ramen ¥700, Half-boiled Flavored Egg ¥100 Finally made it to the original store of Musashiya that I had been wanting to visit! Established in 1997, this longstanding store is celebrating its 26th anniversary this year. With over 20 stores in the Tokyo metropolitan area, I have always been a fan of their other branches. Located just a minute's walk straight ahead from the escalator exit 4 of Shin-Nakano subway station. I arrived around 8:30 pm on a weekday and the restaurant was almost full. Truly a popular spot. Luckily, I was able to enter right away during a changeover. Today, I ordered the regular ramen with a flavored egg topping. I noticed that there was also a ticket for a half-boiled egg ramen at the bottom of the ticket machine, but it seemed okay to order separately. Next to the ticket machine, there was a sign for free rice, with yellow indicating regular and blue indicating half rice. I realized later about the sign and ended up ordering rice verbally, which was also fine. I requested everything to be regular! The ramen arrived in less than 10 minutes, amidst the bustling atmosphere. I took a sip of the soup, which was rich in chicken oil. Mmm, delicious! Unlike other branches, this one had a moderate thickness and a sharp soy sauce finish with a mellow flavor overall. The noodles were medium-short noodles from Sakai Seimen, slightly soft by default, which suited my taste. The pork chashu was lean pork loin(?), tender and tasty. The flavored egg was slightly salty, perfect with rice. It was so delicious that I finished it in an instant. With this level of deliciousness at this price, and the fact that they are open until 2:00 am, it's truly wonderful... I would love to visit again soon.

Nori-tama ramen for 850 yen, extra green onions for 100 yen. Arrived on a weekday after 6 pm with no line. Got my bowl 5 minutes later. The soup is rich pork bone broth, a bit thick. The soy sauce flavor is sharp but not overpowering. If you like extra vegetables, go for a stronger flavor. The soup comes with the usual medium-thick noodles from Sakai. The chashu pork slices are tender, and the flavored egg is on the salty side. It's not about whether it's delicious or not, but the fact that I was able to visit the main store is what makes me happy. Compared to the branches that have branched out, the taste here is a bit more subdued, but you can still feel the originality and depth. The first time I tried Tokyo-style ramen was at Musashi, so this bowl holds a lot of sentimental value for me.

After work, I was thinking of going to the popular ramen shop "Taisho" in Nakano-Sakaue. However, when I checked the opening hours while on the Marunouchi Line, I found out that they close at 8:00 PM. It was already 9:00 PM at that time. I was craving for some hearty ramen, but other ramen shops like Menya Ryo in Ogikubo also close at 8:00 PM. Walking to Asagaya from Minami-Asagaya station is too far as well. So, I decided to visit this place near Shin-Nakano station. It's great that they are open until late, even during Golden Week. I really appreciate the hard work of those who make delicious meals available for us all the time. Thank you very much! It was my first time here, so I observed and purchased my meal ticket. I got the Chashu Ramen (regular) for 900 yen and added spinach for 100 yen. Rice is free, and you can get one free refill as well. Great value for 1000 yen to get all this. The ramen itself was not as rich as places like Budokan or Kido-kai, so it felt a bit lacking in depth. It had a bone broth base, but the intensity was not overpowering, more of a balance between chicken fat richness and soy sauce sharpness. The noodles were ordered medium firmness but were a bit soft, so I'll go for firmer next time. Today, they were on the softer side. Also, the spinach was overcooked, losing its texture, which was a bit disappointing. The chashu was thick and satisfying, but a bit dry. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. I will definitely come back again!

We had a drinking party in Shin-Nakano. We were enjoying ourselves when suddenly it was last order. We pretended to think about where to have our final meal, but quickly headed here. It was past 11 pm, but the place was quite crowded. When the four of us entered, it was full. At first, we sat separately, but the staff skillfully arranged seats for us. We ordered the classic main shop ramen with a regular serving of rice. We had spinach as a side dish and ordered an extra serving of rice to finish off our meal.
