Arrived on a Saturday in September 2023 at 10:50 AM and was fifth in line outside. The rotation was quick, and I was seated within 15 minutes. The morning menu was available until noon, offering 15 pieces for 3,300 yen. I ordered a bottle of beer for 700 yen. I visited on an empty stomach, so the beer really hit the spot while waiting for my sushi to arrive.

The restaurant opens early in the morning and is relatively empty. They offer a morning sushi set with options of 7, 10, or 15 pieces. You can also drink alcohol in the morning, including beer and several types of sake. The 10-piece set costs 2,200 yen. It was delicious and easy to eat. A place worth remembering for when you're shopping at Tsukiji.

For breakfast at Tsukiji, you can eat sashimi, sushi, and seafood bowls as if it were already sushi in the morning. Among them, sushi restaurants that are open early in the morning are limited, and this shop opens at 8:30 am. When I passed by the shop, there was a sign for morning sushi at a very reasonable price, so I decided to explore Tsukiji while wandering around. The shop opened a little early and there were already customers inside. I ordered the morning sushi set of 7 pieces. I thought it would be cheaper quality, but there were many luxurious ingredients including gunkan sushi, and I was able to enjoy the blissful sushi experience.

I happened to find this restaurant while searching for a place to have sushi for breakfast in Tsukiji. Unlike other places with long lines, this one had a relatively short wait, so I decided to line up. It only took about 10 minutes to get in. Since it's counter seating only, the turnover seemed fast. They offer a morning set from 8:30 am to 12 pm, which includes a good deal on sushi sets. Feeling hungry, I ordered a 15-piece set for 3,300 yen. They also serve miso soup as a complimentary side. The selection was omakase, and I got to try unique sushi like chutoro, white shrimp, and fresh baby sardines. I finished with a tekka maki roll. Everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I found a sushi restaurant near Tsukiji Station where you can eat delicious sushi at a reasonable price without waiting in line for too long. There are only 9 seats at the counter, and when I arrived, there was only one group ahead of me. I ordered the 15-piece Morning Sushi set, even though it was almost noon. It was lucky that I could still order the morning set right before the cut-off time at 12 o'clock. Most of the other customers were enjoying seafood bowls. The 15 pieces of sushi were chef's choice based on the day's fresh ingredients. Since I have no preferences when it comes to sushi, I enjoyed all the pieces. The tuna was especially delicious! Mission accomplished at Tsukiji for sushi! Thank you for the meal.

Having lunch in Tsukiji, Chuo-ku. There is a sushi restaurant facing Harumi Street, where sometimes there is a line in front of the shop. It had been a while since I visited Tsukiji on a Sunday, and the crowd was unbelievable compared to years ago. There were overwhelmingly more foreign tourists, and it seems that there are fewer shops following the market's holiday schedule to cater to these tourists. Although the Tsukiji market itself has moved to Toyosu, the brand power of Tsukiji is still significant. I visited "Kenbo Sushi" for the first time, which I had seen from the bus window. There were a few empty seats although there were customers inside when I peeked in from outside. It's a small shop with only 9 counter seats. I was seated on the left side of the counter after being guided by the staff. Disposable towels and cold tea were served. The space between seats is narrow, so it might feel a bit cramped for larger individuals when it's full. They offer lunch nigiri (2090 yen), premium nigiri (2750 yen), tuna and premium salmon nigiri (3850 yen), and premium nigiri (4620 yen). In addition to nigiri, they also have several rice bowl menu options. I ordered the "premium nigiri". It arrived in about 5 minutes. There was no explanation of the types of fish. The content was slightly different from the menu photo, probably due to the availability of ingredients. It felt like the rice was a bit too soft for my taste. There were 2 chefs behind the counter. They didn't initiate any conversation but the female staff spoke a bit when it was time to pay. Some menu items are reasonably priced, making it suitable for a quick meal. A customer from Korea seemed to be a fan of this restaurant, as I noticed them looking multiple times. (Visit rating: 3.41)

When I entered the small counter-only shop, there were two groups of foreign customers. The owner and staff were friendly and provided good service. The prices were reasonable, and the sushi was large, making it a good value compared to other places around Tsukiji. The morning set in particular was a great deal.

There was a variety of places open outside of Tsukiji Market, even though it was a holiday. I decided to try the omakase breakfast set, which included seven pieces of sushi. The sushi was delicious, with a good mix of lean and fatty cuts, as well as different types of fish like bonito, salmon, and red clam. The red clam was firm and not smelly, and the salmon was surprisingly tasty. Despite the price being a bit high for breakfast, I left satisfied. The energetic female staff also left a good impression. Thank you for the meal!

Tsukiji was mostly crowded with foreign tourists, but this shop is located along a main street, so you can avoid the crowds. The proprietress and the chef who call out to customers are very friendly, and the chef even strikes up conversations with Japanese customers.

I really wanted to eat sushi at Tsukiji! It was a day like that. It's a small shop with about 10 counter seats. I just made it in time for the morning set at 12 o'clock. I sat in front of the sushi chef, so I could enjoy each piece as he made it. The sushi pieces were quite big and satisfying! After this, I went on a food tour, so the portion was just right. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Morning set for 15 cans costs 3300 yen. The location is a bit away from crowded areas, so it may be hard to find. The interior is small with limited seating, so there might be a wait, but it can also be empty at times, making it a hidden gem. The whitefish and shirasu are really delightful.

I went to "Kamisushi" in Tsukiji Shijo-ga-sha for brunch on a holiday. There were 3 customers before me and 5 customers after me, and I entered around 10:30 am. I ordered the "Morning Nigiri 15 pieces" for 3,300 yen, a "Kirin Lager medium bottle" for 700 yen, and added a "Kagawa sake Koryo hot sake" for 700 yen. First, I had tamago (egg), followed by kanpachi (amberjack), tai (sea bream), hotate (scallop), sawara (Spanish mackerel), seared tuna, tsubugai (whelk), akami tuna, katsuo tataki (seared bonito), salmon, fresh octopus, shirauo (icefish), and medium fatty tuna gunkan (forgot to take a picture of shirasu and squid). Particularly delicious this time were the sawara, tsubugai, shirasu, and katsuo tataki. The speed of service was fast, and the sushi almost overflowed from the plate. What was disappointing was that I was waiting for miso soup after finishing the sushi, but it never came. When I asked at the time of payment, "Don't you serve miso soup?" the waitress said, "We don't serve it to customers who are drinking." The customer next to me was drinking and got miso soup, and it was always served without asking before. I left feeling unsatisfied, and the deliciousness was halved. The total bill was 4,700 yen. Thank you for the meal.

Visited the restaurant at 9 am with a friend. The place was small with an L-shaped counter seating 9 people. The atmosphere was cozy with a fairly young male owner and a new girl working as a part-time staff. They served Asahi draft beer for 700 yen and a morning sushi set for 3300 yen with 15 pieces. The sushi included egg, red snapper, tuna, flounder, squid with kelp, red clam, striped jack, salmon, scallop, octopus, seared tuna, white fish, raw baby sardines, and medium fatty tuna. Additional options included sea urchin and salmon roe. The sushi rice was too big, too soft, and lacked vinegar flavor, making it difficult to eat comfortably. It felt like the only appeal was being able to eat sushi in the morning. I would prefer conveyor belt sushi over this place. However, by the time we left, the restaurant was full. The total bill for two people was 11630 yen.

Sunday at 11am. Since I came all the way to Tsukiji, I decided to visit one more sushi restaurant. The first sushi place didn't meet my expectations, so I carefully chose this one where there was a crowd outside when I passed by earlier. When I entered, only one group was seated at the counter. I sat at the counter in the back and ordered the lunch sushi set for ¥2090. Each piece of sushi was placed on a sushi geta. They were all delicious. Hmm... but lacking in impact. The value of coming all the way to Tsukiji was not realized. It was a sushi restaurant aimed at tourists. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived around 8:20 am and was the first in line. By 30 minutes later, there were already 6 people in line. I ordered the 15-piece morning sushi set for 3300 yen. The chef skillfully prepared each piece and they were all delicious. I am satisfied with being able to eat at the counter at this price.

Visited the restaurant for breakfast and ordered the 10-piece Morning Nigiri set (2,200 yen). Arrived right when the restaurant opened and sat at the counter at the far end on the left side. Chose the 10-piece set from the options of 7, 10, or 15 pieces. Although the Morning Nigiri is usually chef's choice, I asked if I could have some Kohada and the chef kindly agreed. Started with a miso soup with seaweed, followed by the first piece of Tamagoyaki on the sushi geta. The Kohada was placed next, with Anago and Maguro Akami served right after. The Kohada had a perfect balance of vinegar and salt, while the Anago had a subtle kombu flavor and the Maguro Akami was firm yet tender. Then came Salmon, Shirauo, and Hotate, all fresh and delicious. The Shirauo had a popping texture and a hint of seaweed flavor that was delightful. Finished with live Octopus, Shima Aji, and lightly torched Chu Toro. The Octopus was seasoned with salt, offering a smooth and chewy texture. The Shima Aji had a sweet taste and crispy freshness, while the Chu Toro melted in the mouth. Ended the meal with seaweed miso soup and a pickled ginger palate cleanser.

Today, I had business in Roppongi and decided to have breakfast at Tsukiji by car. I arrived at 10 am and luckily there were no customers ahead of me. It quickly started to get crowded, with 6 customers behind me (4 Westerners and 2 Asians). I ordered the "Morning Nigiri [Chef's choice 10 pieces]" for 2,200 yen and a Kirin Lager medium bottle for 700 yen. I started with 2 pieces of tamagoyaki, followed by shoyu marinated hirame, sumagatsuo, bakagai (green turban shell), buri, salmon, live octopus, shiromi, and chutoro, for a total of 10 pieces. The meal ended with a miso soup with seaweed. Particularly delicious were the sumagatsuo, bakagai, live octopus (salted), shiromi, and the seaweed miso soup. Next time, I plan to try the 15-piece Morning Nigiri. The bill came to 2,900 yen. Thank you for the meal.

Tokyo Stay has unexpectedly become longer than expected. On the final day of the three-day weekend, I came to the Tsukiji area. The outer market is bustling with tourists from both inside and outside. On this warm day, many people are eating sashimi, appetizers, and sushi purchased from storefronts at outdoor tables, but I wanted a bit of peace. I found a small sushi restaurant at that time. It was quiet without a crowd, and the unique restaurant name caught my attention. I ordered a lunch set of nigiri sushi. Six pieces and tamagoyaki. It was just the right amount. The lean and fatty tuna were delicious. The live octopus was topped with matcha salt, which was also good. All the nigiri were of high quality. It was a shame that there was no shrimp, maybe due to the holiday. I would like to visit this restaurant again. If you value cost performance, I recommend the nine-piece nigiri set with tamagoyaki on top.

They open at 8:30 in the morning, but some places start serving even earlier. It's a small shop with only a counter, and I had their breakfast. The sushi made by the chefs was delicious - from horse mackerel to bonito, salmon, octopus, fatty tuna, and sardines, all of them were fresh and tasty. The salmon was thick, the fatty tuna was rich, and the sardines were surprisingly plump. The prices are reasonable, making it a great place for a casual meal. The shop is small, so even on weekdays, you may have to wait in line in the morning. Since it's run by just one person, you might have to wait for the chef to prepare your order.

Today, I got the flu shot and had a dental check-up in the morning. After finishing around 10 o'clock, I headed to Tsukiji Market for breakfast at Konomazushi. There were 3 customers waiting outside - 2 foreigners and 1 other person. It seemed busy as there was only one staff member in the restaurant. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I was seated. The two foreign customers before me ordered "premium" and "regular" sushi, but one of them changed their order to tuna and salmon sushi. It seemed like the canceled sushi was included in the "chef's choice" set that I ordered. I started with 2 pieces of tamago sushi, followed by tai, kohada, salmon, buri, inada, abalone, maguro, ika, shiromi, and kani sushi. I was very satisfied with the meal. The bill came to 2900 yen. Thank you for the delicious meal.
