A restaurant where you can start drinking around 7 o'clock. The owner is there by 6 o'clock, so they will let you drink canned shochu highballs in a styrofoam box. You can enjoy drinking while elegantly observing tourists with sashimi and grilled fish as snacks! I've visited various street food spots, but this place was the most reasonable. There are small tables around, making it easy to eat. I imagine everyone is ordering the large serving of scallops. We also ordered sea urchin, which was delicious. There are many other options like turban shell, sashimi, and more. Everything was very fresh and tasty.

It was incredibly delicious. The staff were fun and friendly, and I loved the atmosphere! I thoroughly enjoyed my favorite seafood dishes♡ The seafood grill was filled with countless pieces of tuna, scallops, sea urchin, and 2 shrimp hiding in there! It was truly delicious and made me happy.

The weather was really nice and pleasant, perfect for drinking outside! Tsukiji was quite crowded with tourists, and many people were enjoying drinks outdoors. I decided to join in and found a spot at a simple outdoor table (well, it's still outdoors). Inside a styrofoam box, there were many cans of chu-hi and beer chilling in ice water. It felt like a festival atmosphere, so fun! I couldn't resist ordering some fish grilled over charcoal after seeing a big pot of miso soup simmering at the storefront. The smell of the grilled fish was so inviting. This is the perfect place to enjoy drinks in this kind of setting!

⏰ I visited around 11am on a weekday and waited for about 5 minutes before being able to make a purchase. The menu for this visit included: - Tuna sashimi...¥1300 ★3.3 - Scallops...¥500 ★3.5 - Assorted tuna sashimi from various parts The sashimi was still frozen when served, so we waited a bit before eating. The grilled scallops were unbelievably delicious, especially the huge liver of the scallop! I thought it might be bitter, but it was actually quite sweet, indicating how fresh it was. It was so delicious. This place is a hidden gem in Tsukiji. I'm glad I came. Thank you for the meal!

"Maguro no Miyako" is a seafood grill restaurant located in a corner of the Tsukiji Outer Market. It has been featured in the media several times, so there is often a line in front of the shop. Across the road, you can see the famous grilled rice crackers shop, Maruyaki Takosenbei. I visited alone around 2:30 PM on a holiday. The shop is a semi-outdoor stall with a few simple tables nearby. The seafood grill menu changes daily. On this day, they served "grilled scallops," "grilled oysters," and "fish head soup" for a total of 2,800 yen. The grilled scallops were seasoned only with soy sauce, with no fishy smell and a delicious scallop flavor. The large and plump oysters had a fresh taste with a hint of sea flavor. I enjoyed them without any sauce, but they would also be great with ponzu or lemon. The fish head soup was a hearty dish with plenty of white fish and shellfish heads, along with lots of Chinese cabbage. It's perfect for the cold season and a must-try if it's available. Although I didn't see the owner's cooking performance using a gas burner from a tuna fishing boat, I was satisfied enjoying the seafood grill with a drink in hand. However, I thought 2,800 yen was a bit expensive. I would like to revisit when they have menu items cooked with the gas burner.

Monday 10:17. Maguro no Miyako-san. This is a restaurant that I really wanted to visit after doing some research beforehand. They serve seafood grilled on a burner. (But unfortunately, the seating outside was already taken by other customers). I was unsure about when to place my order, and felt awkward standing there without leaving. "Miss, what would you like?" A female staff member noticed and called out to me. I ordered the seafood grill for 1,000 yen, which included scallops and a mix of other seafood. An older man in the back grilled the seafood for me. He generously topped the scallop shells with luxurious ingredients like sea urchin, fatty tuna, scallops, and crab. It was like a crowded train of my favorite foods? My mouth was watering. Once the dish was ready, he pointed me towards a place to eat (across the street) called "Tsukiji Outer Market Information Center, Platto Tsukiji." I found a bench there to enjoy my meal. It was a bit tricky to balance the scallop shell on the paper plate, but I took my first bite. The hot and fresh ingredients filled my mouth with happiness. The scallops were delicious, the sea urchin was irresistible, and the fatty tuna was amazing. It felt like cheating. (I'm so glad to be alive). After finishing, a lady who was cleaning up said, "You can leave that here when you're done." The people were so kind and there was a lively atmosphere. I had a great time enjoying delicious food. I'm glad I mustered up the courage to come to Tsukiji alone. I really enjoyed myself. Thank you for the meal.

Seafood grill for 1000 yen and delicious tamagoyaki were enjoyed here. The famous owner, the father, was in the back, while today a Chinese lady was at the front of the shop. I ordered two seafood grills and watched the process. When it was partially grilled, the father brought a generous portion of tuna and added it in. "Is that okay? That's an extra charge!" The cooking process and the service were both excellent, just like the father's. The ingredients included scallops, crab, sea urchin, and a generous amount of tuna, all of which made the dish very satisfying. The grilled tuna was soft and delicious, with no tough parts. The other ingredients were also very tasty. Despite looking smaller than expected at first, it was actually quite filling. It had about twice the visual impact and three times the deliciousness. Highly recommended. One person with a shellfish allergy managed to finish the dish without eating the crab.

The menu offers two options: "Scallop Grill" or "Seafood Grill." I ordered the "Seafood Grill," and the chef's gas burner performance began right there. Scallops, sea urchin, tuna, squid, and shrimp are grilled on scallop shells with a powerful burner. I added more tuna halfway through, but the way it was placed was a bit sloppy, causing some pieces to fall through the grill. They picked them up and placed them on the plate for me, provided a chair, and I enjoyed the dish on the spot. The taste was beyond my imagination, with plenty of seafood. Considering the variety of ingredients for ¥1,000, it was quite a deal. If they could avoid dropping pieces through the grill, it would be even better.

The chef started searing the tuna with a burner as soon as we placed our order. It was the first time I had seen someone use two burners at once. The delicious smell of the seared tuna tickled my nose. First, I tried the tuna. It was delicious, more like meat than fish. The sea urchin was also delicious. And then, surprisingly, the chef gave us a complimentary soup? It was seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing! I'm not sure if this is a regular service or if we were just lucky, but the warmth of the chef made me feel cozy. Thank you for the meal! It was delicious! 😊

Plenty of uni and scallops grilled. I usually have plenty of uni in the shell, but they didn't have it, so I chose this instead. I love both uni and scallops, so it was delicious. Customers kept coming one after another. There is a small table in front of the shop where you can eat.

I went food hopping at Tsukiji Outer Market. For the third stop, we went to Miyako-san for seafood grilled on the beach. We visited the restaurant at 9:24 with 3 people. There were various seafood displayed in front of the shop, making it hard to decide what to eat. In the end, we each had one raw oyster and shared two scallops. We ordered 3 raw oysters for 1000 yen including tax and 2 scallops for 800 yen including tax. It took about 3 minutes for the scallops to be grilled. We ate the raw oysters with ponzu sauce and enjoyed the scallops as they were. The fresh raw oysters were creamy and delicious. The scallops were also hot and tasty. When you're food hopping at Tsukiji Outer Market, you can't help but be drawn to the seafood. There are also famous shops for tamagoyaki and shumai, but seafood is always delicious. I will definitely visit again when I go back to Tsukiji Outer Market. Thank you for the meal.

The fourth stop was at Maguro no Miyako, where they grill the tuna right in front of you and you can eat it fresh. While walking, I couldn't resist and ended up buying scallops and oysters. I ordered raw oysters (3 pieces) and grilled scallops (2 pieces). The oysters had a strong saltiness and a taste of the sea, truly living up to the name "milk of the ocean." The scallops were freshly grilled and had a nice bitterness to them, making me crave some sake. I will definitely come back to Tsukiji next time I visit. Thank you for the delicious meal!

The waiting time was also enjoyable, which is one of the charms of Tsukiji. I'll visit again. I wonder when that will be.

I moved to Maguro no Miyako with craft beer in hand. They have a system where you pay cash at the storefront and can enjoy high-quality seafood. They don't serve alcohol, so be careful. They offer scallops, head-on shrimp, abalone, turban shell, and crab, but all are priced like a tourist spot, ranging from 1,000 to 3,000 yen. I hesitated for a moment and chose the fresh oysters for 1,000 yen. The staff poured ponzu sauce for me, and I headed to the standing eating space. Surrounded by a group of Chinese tourists, I started eating alone. The oysters were large and had a firm texture. When I finished the top oyster, there was another hidden underneath, which was a lucky surprise. I enjoyed the craft beer and oysters. Thank you for the meal. Next, I headed towards the restaurant I was looking forward to near Hama-no-ura Shrine. Thank you!
