After my lesson, I visited this place for the first time. There were seats available, but I had plans later so I decided to get three baked goods for takeout. I chose Espresso Banana Cake, Apple Cake, and Orange Peel Brownie. The female staff member was very friendly and explained the baked goods in detail. I was surprised to hear that they source their products from a shop in my hometown of Zushi. I look forward to visiting again for dining in next time.

This is a hidden gem café located in a semi-basement at the back of CHANEL. It's surprisingly not crowded even on weekends, making it a rare find. The drinks are delicious and the toast is also very tasty. Pound cakes and brownies are recommended, but my favorite is adding ice cream to the iced honey latte. It's located right in the middle of Omotesando Station and Harajuku Station, called Rag & Bone Coffee! This cafe is connected to an apparel shop called Rag & Bone. The cafe, located underground, has a stylish Nordic design with white as the main color. I love cafes where baked goods are displayed next to the counter. Even though I intended to just get a drink, I couldn't resist ordering something to eat. On this day, there were a total of 6 gluten-free sweets available. They all looked so appealing that I couldn't decide. I ended up asking the staff for recommendations and went with their top suggestion - the Espresso Banana Cake. The Lemon Cake also looked incredibly delicious, so I'm definitely getting that next time. And of course, my drink companion was a warm Cafe Latte. The banana cake made with rice flour in a pound cake style was moist and fluffy. The ripe bananas mixed in added a delightful surprise when you encountered the fruit chunks. The gentle bitterness and aroma of the espresso paired with the natural sweetness of the bananas created a comforting and delicious flavor. The generous portion of the cake was also a plus. The Cafe Latte, even in a medium size, had a good amount of milk and espresso, creating a perfect balance of creamy milkiness and slight bitterness. The fluffy milk foam on top was also abundant and complemented the banana cake well. The relatively reasonable pricing was also a pleasant surprise, and the location is very convenient. In addition to the baked goods, they also offer a variety of sandwiches and toast menu items, so I have a feeling I'll be visiting this place often. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere created by the staff is another reason why I would like to visit again. For now, I'm looking forward to trying the Lemon Cake next time! Thank you for the meal.

A cafe run by a fashion brand located a 3-4 minute walk from Meiji Jingu-mae, just off a small path across from Omotesando Hills. I visited on a Sunday morning, they open at 9 am which was nice. I arrived around 10:30 am and the seats were quite full but not completely packed. You are seated and then place your order at the counter. There are small round tables in the front and square tables towards the back. The toast looked delicious but I wasn't in the mood for a full meal, so I just had the Espresso Banana Pound Cake and a Honey Latte. The banana flavor was strong and the texture was pleasantly moist. The Honey Latte was also tasty, but I generally enjoy honey in drinks. It's convenient that they are open on Sundays and in the morning, and it doesn't get too crowded. I thought it would be nice to have toast for breakfast here.

I happened to come across this cafe while passing by. In Harajuku on a holiday, everywhere is usually super crowded, but this place was surprisingly empty, maybe because it's semi-underground and a bit hard to find! I tried the almond latte (650 yen), scone (340 yen), and gluten-free brownie (460 yen). The latte had a slight bitterness to it and was delicious, with beautiful latte art! The scone, when eaten in the store, was warmed up and served on a plate, and it had a salty taste and a great texture from the whole wheat flour, really tasty! They source their scones from a shop in Ichigaya every Wednesday. The brownie was incredibly rich and didn't taste gluten-free at all, it was really to my liking! They also had other items on the menu like red bean butter toast sandwich, open sandwiches, and a variety of baked goods like pound cakes. The service at this cafe was extremely polite and the staff was very friendly, which left a great impression on me. Good service is definitely important! I was able to find a hidden gem of a cafe that was delicious, empty, and cozy, making for a happy tea time.

This is a repeat café! I had some time before going out for a drink, so I decided to stop by. The place was full, so I waited inside for about 5-6 minutes. During that time, the staff explained the menu to me and introduced the cakes at the counter! (I was impressed by their amazing service last time as well! Once again, they provided great service) I love their Honey Latte here, so I ordered it again! I also ordered the Cocoa Cake. It's gluten-free, so it felt a bit dry, but it was delicious.

They have two types of straws, one of which breaks when you bite it, so be careful. I thought the straws would be paper, but they actually felt more like bamboo. The staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a seating arrangement of 2 seats x 8 tables inside. You can also sit outside on the benches.

I was also curious about the rum & cherry ice cream. However, why do so many restaurants neglect the handwashing area in the restroom? Here, the faucet is positioned in a way that it's hard to move, and the drainage gets all foamy when you try to wash your hands haha. I often wonder if they can charge money with such facilities haha.

Located underground, this shop has an open and inviting atmosphere. The "Black Float" (tax included 700 yen) is a jet-black ice cream and drink! Its true identity is charcoal ice cream and black coffee! I thought charcoal would be bitter, but it was slightly sweet and delicious. Apparently, there is also charcoal mixed in the coffee.
