Standing and drinking in Asagaya. From the north exit to Star Road. When I went to "Tachinomi Futa-kun," it was full, so I came here instead. Having a drink in Asa-tachi! Outside, there are three tables made of beer cases. There were young people drinking outside. I thought about imitating them and drinking outside, but it was too hot, so I went inside. There was one customer already inside. The interior of the small shop. The specialty seems to be yakitori, but they also have sashimi, including horse sashimi, and rice bowl dishes. First, I ordered a draft beer (Black Label) for 455 yen (excluding tax) and a potato salad for 390 yen. I quenched my thirst with the draft beer. It's delicious. The potato salad is not too mayonnaise-heavy, more on the dry side. It has cucumber, onion, bacon (ham?), and the taste is good. It was not crowded around 6:30 pm. There were two more customers later. One of them was a middle-aged lady. I felt like having another drink, so I ordered a chu-hi for 491 yen. I thought the staff would make it for me, but the shochu came in a "kaku 6 shaku" cup and a saucer for the alcohol, with carbonated water on the side. It's unusual. I made my own chu-hi. The shochu was poured generously, and I had trouble pouring it into the glass. I spilled a little. I should have just drunk the shochu from the glass like sake. The shochu was strong and hit me. I also ordered an assorted yakitori set for 591 yen. The assortment included motsu (liver), momo (with leeks), yagen, and hatsu. Only the motsu was with sauce, the rest were salted. The liver was on a skewer with leeks. It was cooked just right. The momo, yagen, and hatsu were well seasoned with salt, and the cooking was just right. The yakitori was decent. Customers who come here usually have a couple of drinks with yakitori and then leave quickly. I also left after finishing the yakitori. There is also a separate Asa-tachi in front of this place. It was a convenient standing bar.
