Today's lunch adventure took me to the area around Shintomicho Station. I exited from Exit 5 of the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line Shintomicho Station, made a U-turn, walked towards Miyoshi Bridge, turned right at the first T-junction, walked a bit, turned left at the first T-junction, and after a short walk, I found the place I visited today, "Niku no Himalaya and nomuno Shintomicho Tsukiji Store."
At 11:40 on a weekday, the menu board was displayed in front of the store. The menu includes:
- 2nd floor pasta lunch: Roast beef peperoncino for 1,000 yen, Beef sinew meat Bolognese for 1,000 yen
- 3rd floor yakiniku lunch: Meat-filled hormone lunch - Small 150g for 1,000 yen, Meat-filled hormone lunch - Medium 250g for 1,500 yen, Meat-filled hormone lunch - Large 350g for 2,000 yen.
The 2nd floor is a pasta restaurant, and the 3rd floor is a yakiniku restaurant. I went up the stairs to the 3rd floor, where I was the only customer. The male staff greeted me and directed me to a table. I ordered the "Meat-filled hormone lunch - Medium 250g" as I had seen on the sign outside. After a 10-minute wait, the dish was served. The staff informed me that rice and soup were self-service, which I wish he had mentioned earlier. I went to get rice and soup.
The "Meat-filled hormone lunch" included 250g of meat-filled hormone, sanchu, rice, and soup. Rice and soup were all-you-can-eat. The dish contained various cuts of meat and hormone. I grilled the meat and hormone, wrapped them in sanchu, paired them with rice, and enjoyed. I refilled rice and soup, continued to grill the meat and hormone, paired them with rice, and finished with the soup. Today, I savored the hearty "Meat-filled hormone lunch - Medium" to the fullest. Thank you for the meal. (2022.12)
