I went to the restaurant I was interested in! I contacted them right before closing time the day before, but luckily I was able to make a reservation as it was a Monday. The restaurant is popular, so the seats were filling up gradually and by around 7:30 pm, it was almost full. The food that came out was visually appealing and delicious, I wanted to eat more and more. Everything was delicious, but the seasonal limited edition corn nuggets and flaming pudding were particularly memorable in taste. There are so many dishes I want to try, from appetizers and the famous beef and potato stew to pasta and gratin for dessert, I'm having trouble deciding. I definitely want to visit again. The sashimi in particular exceeded the quality of typical izakaya restaurants. The seasonal recommendations, such as the corn, were also very tasty. The drinks were good and everything we tried seemed to be a hit. The restaurant is quite noisy, so it's better suited for groups of 3-4 rather than a date. However, the quality of the food makes it worth a return visit.

They automatically brought out a plate with three different appetizers without me even asking, which was so nice. I always order the corn tempura and minced meat-stuffed bell peppers during this season, and they are both so delicious. I wanted to order more corn tempura, but they were sold out.

A trendy izakaya located in an area with stylish restaurants in Ebisu Minami. The exterior and interior of the restaurant have a nice atmosphere, making it suitable not only for hanging out with friends but also for dates! We decided to try their three famous dishes and their early summer seasonal menu. We had a great meal and some drinks for just 5000 yen for two people! - Assorted sashimi (6 varieties) - Beef tendon meat and potato stew - ¥913 - Hinata chicken thigh grill - ¥1,078 - Corn tempura - ¥738 - Amber Ebisu beer - White wine The sashimi assortment was supposed to be 3 types, but we got 6! Is this a special service? The beef tendon meat and potato stew was cooked right in front of us in a large pot at the counter, making everyone want to order it! Plus, the kitchen staff were handsome!

I met up with a friend at Ebisudo on this day, which was our second stop. Although the last order for food had already ended, they kindly served us edamame and octopus with wasabi. We toasted with green tea highballs! When I thought about getting a refill, they also brought us bamboo sake without fail. It was a great time chatting and drinking with the head chef of a related restaurant who happened to be there.

"Ebisu's Best Value for Money Restaurant with Delicious Fish" Today, I met up with friends in Ebisu to discuss our upcoming summer vacation over drinks. I had been curious about this restaurant for a while as it was known for serving fresh sashimi at a reasonable price, and had been trending on social media. It was a bit of a walk from the station, about 10 to 15 minutes. I used to work in this area, so I was familiar with the surroundings, but many new dining establishments had popped up, and the turnover was quite high. Upon entering the restaurant, there was an open kitchen in the middle and a tatami room at the back where we sat for our drinking meeting. We started with a toast with beer and ordered a sashimi platter with all types of fish. The salad served as an appetizer was a nice touch! The 7 varieties of sashimi were all fresh and delicious, with a nice amount of fat on them. We got carried away with drinking and forgot about our meeting, just enjoying the food and drinks. As we finished the meeting, we switched to serious drinking mode and ordered seared cod roe, chilled tomatoes, recommended simmered offal, and grilled turban shell. Everything was delicious, and we kept ordering more. The finale was pasta! The chewy texture of the fresh pasta was incredibly tasty. The staff was very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. Thank you for the feast, we will definitely be back for more drinks."

When you enter, you overlook the kitchen from the seating area. It feels kind of mysterious. The restaurant is not very big, but it was bustling with young people. It's about a 5-minute walk from JR Ebisu Station, and it's located along a street with surprisingly heavy traffic, so it might be easy to miss at first glance. There are many young staff members who are energetic. It's a good place for a lively atmosphere. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, we made a last-minute visit to Ebisudo for our second stop. We met up with a friend there. We had already ordered food, so they brought out a snack set for us, which made us very happy. We toasted with a green tea highball! The snack set included umesuisho (pickled plum), edamame, and a dish of clams and rapeseed blossoms. The umesuisho alone was enough to keep us drinking and feeling happy... It was nice to be able to chat with the manager and staff after a long time.

I went to my favorite Rak Corporation restaurant to celebrate the end of work in 2022. I was surprised that the staff were not wearing masks, but as always, the staff at this chain are lively. I sat at the counter and enjoyed chatting with the staff while enjoying drinks. The food was consistently delicious! It had been a while since I visited a Rak Corporation restaurant, so I ended up ordering a lot... I look forward to trying more variety next time!

I asked for a mix of snacks - umesuisho, potato salad, and fried eggplant. Just these made the drinks go down smoothly. I switched to green tea highball and ordered a sashimi platter. The freshness was outstanding as always. Since it was a quick drink, I decided to finish here.

On this day, I arrived at Ebisudo early and sat at the counter seat before the simmering started. I started with a draft beer and enjoyed the assorted sashimi as an appetizer. I also tried the new dishes, ankimo and shirako. After eating the anchovy ajillo, I ordered the limited edition fried ginkgo nuts and seafood yukhoe. Then I switched to bamboo sake. I decided to call it a night before drinking too much.

This day, I visited Ebisu-do after a long time. It was my first time being seated at the counter in front. I spotted my friends at the usual counter seats (laughs). We started with a toast with highball! The staff brought us a set of appetizers to start with. It was much appreciated. For this day, we had edamame marinated overnight, changja, and cheese! We also ordered the classic set which included beef tendon stew. The stew, simmered daily, was sweet but rich in flavor. We also added the grilled thigh of Hinata chicken. It was served hot on a Sakurajima lava plate. It was delicious with yuzu pepper. As usual, we enjoyed bamboo sake halfway through the meal.

On this day, I went to Ebisudo for the first time in a while. Since I was alone, I sat at the counter. I started with a highball and ordered simmered green peppers as a side dish. The sashimi platter was customized for one person, which made me very happy. I also had garlic shrimp and shumai. I ordered liver pate and enjoyed it with bamboo sake by myself (laughs). I had a great time chatting with other regular customers that day.

On this day, I arrived at Ebisudo earlier than usual. Since I was alone, I sat at the counter as usual. I started with a highball. First, I had the assorted sashimi, which was all fresh and delicious. Then, I tried the duck from the daily special menu, followed by the white liver pate which goes well with drinks. A friend joined me, making us three in total. We ordered bamboo sake. We enjoyed corn fritters, umesho, and meat miso stuffed peppers, which went perfectly with the drinks (laughs). We also had fried chicken and edamame, and ended the night with full bellies and lots of drinks.

After finishing at the gym, I headed to Ebisudo. I sat at the counter and enjoyed a highball. I started with fried cheese, then had potato salad and namul. It was a light meal with alcohol as the main focus. I chatted with the staff and manager, and left the restaurant feeling pleasantly tipsy.

On my third visit, I started with a lemon sour and enjoyed a leisurely drink with umeshu and pickles. Then, a friend joined me and we ended up drinking a lot of bamboo sake while adding simmered dishes. The next day, I had a slight hangover, but it was nice to have a relaxing chat with the manager and staff after a long time!

On this day, the store manager visited Ebisudo for the last time. The store was full with regular customers who were friends with the manager! It was the second stop of the night, but a friend had saved seats for us to join them. We toasted with green tea highballs! We started with a sashimi platter and enjoyed the usual menu items while chatting and having a great time. By the time we left, the manager had made friends with others besides us, so we may not visit as often, but we will definitely come back from time to time.
