I arrived at the restaurant at 13:10, got my ticket, and entered at 13:30. That day, there were only two chefs (usually there are three), so at the reception, they asked me, "It will take 20 minutes from ordering to serving sushi, is that okay with you?" It actually took 25 minutes, so I started eating at 13:55. When I was seated at the counter, I noticed that almost everyone around me was foreign, mostly Westerners and Chinese. The Chinese person next to me was ordering items like "otoro and uni" separately. Meanwhile, I awkwardly ordered the "lunch chirashi (1,050 yen including tax)." It made me realize the economic disparity nowadays. But it's okay. Even without eating otoro, I was completely satisfied with the lunch chirashi. The tuna akami tasted like chutoro elsewhere, showing the high quality of the tuna at Midori. The other ingredients were also generous in size. Additionally, it came with chawanmushi and miso soup, which were also of high quality. Midori is amazing. In a world where inflation is advancing, I don't know how long they can keep the price at 1,050 yen, but I would be happy if they could continue to offer wallet-friendly prices for Japanese customers.

They were distributing numbered tickets starting from 10:00, so I got one and arrived around 11:20. I heard that there would be quite a wait even after ordering, so I wanted to kill some time until my next appointment. Finally, after about 40 minutes, the special nigiri sushi arrived. It cost 2640 yen each. It had been a while since I had visited Midori Sushi. The meal included chawanmushi and miso soup, and the portion size was just right.

The Ginza Corridor Street store always has a long line, but you can wait comfortably inside the cool commercial facility. While waiting for the Harry Potter event for an hour, we ordered a lunch set and got 11 pieces of sushi with miso soup for only 1900 yen! Definitely worth the wait. We started with the recommended bonito tataki and ark shell, followed by crab miso. The half-size portion was satisfyingly generous. The bonito was a bit too strong in flavor, would have been better if it was served raw. Next time, I think I'll go for the lunch set again as it seems like a good deal!

I usually go to the Ginza branch, but I had some errands nearby so I decided to try the Akasaka location. I arrived early, got a ticket, and waited on a nearby chair. I was able to get in on the first round, but it took a while for my order to arrive, almost 20 minutes. The lack of floor staff and chefs was the reason for the delay. I ordered a simple set. The sushi pieces were big and thick, which made my kids very happy. The Midori chain always takes a long time, but it doesn't bother me too much.

My wife was able to take a day off on Saturday, so we decided to go for seafood with my brother-in-law and his wife at the Midori Sushi Akasaka branch. We could only make a reservation for a course meal during lunch, so we chose a slightly cheaper course since we were planning to order additional dishes. Normally, we go to the Ginza branch and wait outside in the heat during the summer until we are called, but here it was a cool space inside a building, and there were way fewer people waiting compared to the Ginza branch. We arrived right at 11 o'clock, and they let us in from the reserved customers, which was nice. The course we ordered was delicious and had a generous amount of food, so we ended up being too full to order any additional dishes. I remembered that the portion sizes were large when I had eaten here before, and I regretted not choosing a higher course. However, the quality was the same as the Ginza branch, the wait was shorter, and the fact that we could wait inside at the Akasaka branch was an amazing discovery. In the future, it seems like we will be coming to this Midori Sushi branch.

At the popular Meikari Sushi Akasaka store, it was crowded during lunchtime. We managed to get a table at Meikari Sushi, but it was still full and the food took a while to come out. It's quite popular. The prices are cheap, but we were able to enjoy proper sushi. The portions were generous. The fresh scallops and flounder fin were delicious. I also tried two types of special rolls, which were surprisingly tasty. The crab miso salad was also good. Thank you for the meal.

At the end of the date, we visited Umega Sushi's Bitenri Akasaka branch to eat sushi. We started with beer and a variety of dishes, including grilled items and additional sushi. Despite ordering a lot, the bill was affordable, so the cost performance is excellent. The restaurant was crowded, but I would definitely like to go again.

The sushi at Midori was delicious when I went for the first time. They served the sushi in a set, timing it perfectly, and the sake went down quite well. The chawanmushi was seasoned just to my liking, and since it was a special occasion, I really enjoyed myself.

I visited the popular restaurant Mitogi Sushi for the first time and was pleasantly surprised that there was no line. The service was very attentive and the sushi was delicious for the price of 1900 yen. The sushi chef and the staff were all very kind and cheerful, which made me smile. The only downside was seeing a male staff member scold the sushi chef repeatedly. Overall, it was a great experience and I felt reassured by the strict training and supervision in the restaurant.

I went to "Midorisushi Akasaka Store" on a holiday evening. I had some business near Akasaka for lunch and had hardly eaten anything all day, so I was very hungry. When we arrived at the restaurant around 4:00 PM, there were two groups of customers waiting. We input our information on the terminal in front of the store and chose our seating preference from "counter," "table," or "either." Since we prefer sitting at the counter when going to a non-rotating sushi restaurant, we chose "counter." As a result, we had to wait for about an hour for seats to open up at the counter. For those who are not picky about seating, I recommend choosing "either." Some advantages of sitting at the counter include being able to chat with the sushi chef and enjoying freshly made sushi. We started with a Yoichi highball for a toast. We ordered three items as appetizers (Ponzu vinegar, grilled squid legs, avocado seafood salad, and simmered melocama) and then had individual sushi pieces. I highly recommend the simmered melocama. The price, portion size, and taste were all excellent! It's quite filling, so be careful if you have a small appetite or are dining with a small group. I heard that prices have recently gone up, but it wasn't a big concern for me. Thank you for the delicious meal!

4,400 yen (tax included) for a special bottle of beer (3 bottles of Super Dry medium bottles for 3 people) and a 1,000 yen meal voucher as a gift. The course includes seasonal appetizers (firefly squid and octopus head with vinegar miso dressing), mini crab miso salad, assorted sashimi (medium fatty tuna, tuna, amberjack, salmon, squid, button shrimp, egg), seasonal grilled dish (salmon belly), today's simmered dish (yellowtail), seasonal sushi platter with 5 pieces (tuna, amberjack, salmon roe, conger eel, egg, squid), chawanmushi, and sherbet. The 4,400 yen course had these items, so I wonder how amazing the 5,500 yen course would be! The service was a bit disappointing, but understandable given how busy they were.

I'm happy that I can go whenever I feel like it now. I used to have to wait a long time, but recently the wait is much shorter. I arrived at the restaurant around 10:30 on a holiday, but couldn't get in on the first try and ended up waiting until around 12:30... It was busier than before. I waited quite a bit to get in, and even after ordering, it took a long time for the food to be served. They had a limited-time menu called "Spring Blossoms Cherry Blossom Chirashi," so this time I ordered a bowl instead of sushi. First, a set of chawanmushi was served, and it took a while before the chirashi arrived. The chirashi was very delicious, with plenty of ingredients and just the right amount of vinegar in the sushi rice. It had sakura denbu sprinkled on top and was filled with lots of sweet rolled omelette. It's the kind of place you can only visit when you have a lot of time to spare.

Midori, who always wants to eat here but can never due to the long lines, was surprised to find that the line wasn't too bad this time. As always, the fish was large, fresh, and delicious. This sushi restaurant offers great value for the price and quality of the ingredients. There are very few sushi restaurants that can compare to this place.

I received a message from my friend to meet in Akasaka. We went to watch baseball that day, but our main goal was to visit the sushi restaurant called Umega Sushi in Akasaka, where Mr. Yoshitomi works. My friend had already gotten a ticket, but the waiting time was still long despite arriving early. Finally, we were able to enter the restaurant, which had a clean and elegant interior with a pleasant sushi restaurant aroma. We sat at the counter as requested by my friend. We started with beer and a half-sized miso salad. We toasted to the victory of the day! The miso salad made with crab was surprisingly delicious, even though I usually don't like strongly scented seafood. The freshness and proper storage of the ingredients made a significant difference in taste. The assorted sashimi of shellfish included red clam, scallop, surf clam, blue crab, and whelk. The freshness and quality of the seafood were evident, and each bite was a delight. The pickled gizzard shad had a light vinegared taste and paired well with the slightly sweet sushi rice. The seared fatty mackerel had a unique flavor that was enhanced by the charred green onions on top. The tuna nigiri sushi was ordered by my friend and was simply described as "delicious." The tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) had a perfect balance of sweetness and was a great snack option. We switched from beer to sake, which complemented the fish and sushi well. The restaurant provided a cozy and enjoyable dining experience, with friendly and attentive service. The chefs were knowledgeable and accommodating, answering our questions about the dishes. The prices were reasonable, making it a great choice for those looking for satisfying food at a good value. Just be prepared to wait in line. My friend, being a fan of Umega Sushi, was very satisfied. We ended the night by watching the World Baseball Classic on TV at another location, enjoying both baseball and a fulfilling dining experience in Akasaka.

I suddenly felt like eating sushi, especially at Midori in Ginza, so I purposely went around 1pm. However, when I got a ticket, there were nearly 50 groups waiting... It was such a huge number that I thought the day would end, so I decided to head straight to Akasaka. There were 14 groups waiting in Akasaka. But in the end, I entered the restaurant almost an hour later. Currently, you can check the progress of the tickets on EPARK, but for some reason, it seems that even in Ginza, where there were 50 groups waiting, they were being called around the same time. Maybe there are a lot of people who didn't get tickets! I was satisfied with the usual cost performance❣️

I attended a girls' night out plan. I was surprised by the bill this time! The all-you-can-drink option was not included, so it cost about 8000 yen per person! The 5000 yen option with all-you-can-drink must be a special price due to COVID! I heard there was even a 4000 yen option at one point. It must be tough for the restaurant... It's a relief that peace has returned. I was very satisfied with the experience.

I have been here many times. The daily recommendations, seafood set, lean cuts, tuna sinew, octopus suckers, etc. (Some photos were forgotten to be taken). The sushi here is always large, flavorful, and delicious. It might be my favorite dining spot. I will definitely come back. Review rating: 3.44 stars
