I visited here after a long time. It was a revisit after over 10 years. The specialty has always been the kalbi, and this time, they provided kalbi that exceeded my expectations. I ordered a lunch set with kalbi and pork belly, but I was so impressed by the deliciousness of the kalbi that I also ordered the recommended new item, the jar pickled kalbi. I was amazed by the marbling and the clean taste of the fat. I would like to visit again with a large group in the evening.

Get off at Nakano Station North Exit and walk for 5 minutes. This is a long-established yakiniku restaurant that has been around for over 30 years. When you turn right at the bakery Bonjour Bon, you will see the restaurant. - 5th Rib @ 1700 yen Marbled level 2, with a decent amount of fat. - 4th Rib @ 1500 yen Marbled level 1, easier to eat compared to the 5th Rib. - Lean Rib @ 3400 yen Marbled level 1, tender and less fatty, easy to eat. - Top Tongue Salt @ 3200 yen Thinly sliced tongue with a subtle taste. - Hormone @ 1200 yen - Top Mino @ 1500 yen Overall, this restaurant has a high level of marbling. I visited this nice looking yakiniku restaurant in Nakano after finishing work! The atmosphere was delicious and had a nostalgic feel to it. I started with a beer to cheers to the end of the work day! The beef tongue and wagyu set were ordered, and the quality of the meat was top-notch! The balance of tenderness, marbling, and flavor was just right! The cuts were thick and satisfying, not the thin and flimsy kind. The side dishes like kimchi and namul were also tasty! The beer kept flowing! For dessert, I had cold noodles and stone pot bibimbap! The flavors were satisfying! Thank you for the meal!

The fourth installment of the Nakano Station series is a first visit to Komeitei. The purpose, of course, was lunch. I ordered the 1,550 yen Komeitei lunch, which includes 6 pieces each of A4 rank black wagyu kalbi and pork belly, totaling 12 pieces at 120g, along with salad, kimchi, namul, wakame soup, and rice. The salad and wakame soup had good flavors, and the meat was tender with just the right amount of fat, with no complaints about the quality. The staff's service was as described in reviews and videos, being rather indifferent. Perhaps it's because the staff are older men. With Toraji located nearby, the restaurant had only 2 groups of customers, including myself, at the 12 o'clock opening time. It felt a bit empty for a Sunday lunchtime.

I felt like having yakiniku but didn't have the courage to take the train. I chose a restaurant in Nakano that I had never been to before. There were three course options, and I went with the middle one for safety. The marbled kalbi was too oily, and the other dishes were just average. The negi rice and natto were also average. The service was slow and the dishes were just placed without a word. It was disappointing. The cost performance was also poor. Thank you for the meal.

I visited for lunch on Friday at 12:30, after a long time. There were two groups of customers before me, and I was seated at a spacious table. I ordered the "Koumitei Lunch 120g" (1550 yen including tax), which includes a delicious A4 rank kalbi and pork belly totaling 120g, served with a light and tasty sauce. It also comes with rice, wakame soup, a mini salad with Japanese dressing, namul and kimchi, and a refreshing citrus mini sherbet. It's a great value set for a yakiniku lunch.

I visited for lunch. A4 Kalbi and pork 120g for 1,550 yen, A4 Kalbi 90g for 1,500 yen, A5 Kalbi pot pickled 90g for 1,750 yen. Additional meat: A4 for 1,100 yen, A5 for 1,500 yen. Comes with rice, seaweed soup, kimchi, and namul set. It's a shop specializing in A5 grade meat, so the prices on the regular menu are a bit high for lunch portions, making it difficult to add a little extra. When I asked about the meat, I learned that the pot pickled Kalbi made from A5 grade meat is actually the trimmed end pieces. I regret ordering the A4 and pork set. The salad with garlic-flavored dressing was amazing. The pork with green onion miso marinade was delicious. Although the A4 meat was tasty, the pork might go better with the rice. I also added A5 grade meat, which was a mix of melt-in-your-mouth and slightly fatty pieces, creating a subtle taste. If you want to enjoy a higher quality yakiniku lunch, this place might be worth a try.

I decided to drink in Nakano and unexpectedly walked around the streets without a reservation. I found a quaint and charming old-fashioned shop and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere had a Showa era vibe and I was feeling quite hopeful. The service was a bit quirky with an eccentric older gentleman, but it wasn't bad at all. There are two yakiniku restaurants in this area. I decided to have lunch at both of them. I ordered the "Kalbi Lunch" for 1450 yen, which came with 90g of A4 rank kalbi. I rated it 5 out of 5. In total, I gave it 25 out of 40 points for taste and value for money. The meat was rated 3.5, salad 3.5, namul 3.0, kimchi 3.0, soup 3.0, white rice 3.0, and other items 3.0. The dessert, yuzu sherbet, was also rated 3.0. The restaurant was not crowded, and I was able to enjoy a delicious yakiniku lunch in a relaxed atmosphere. It was a great meal, and I will definitely visit again.

I visited a high-end yakiniku restaurant at the north exit of Nakano Station. The background music is Western music. I ordered the "kalbi lunch" and it was served promptly. It came with about 10 slices of A4 kalbi, which was very tender. The rice was cooked firm and the sauce coated it well. A yuzu sherbet was served at the end.

Visited around 1 pm on a holiday. Ordered the pot-grilled kalbi lunch set with a small beer, and added on some beef tongue. The kalbi melts in your mouth. It's a bit pricey at 1600 yen for lunch, but the taste makes it worth it. The lunch portion is satisfying on its own, but I love beef tongue so I ordered extra. It was also very tender and juicy. You can keep eating it over and over! Thank you for the meal.

I visited a restaurant around 11:30 on Monday at the Sunroad shopping street north of Nakano Station. The restaurant is located a little further ahead after turning right at the corner of a bakery past Lotteria. The interior of the restaurant is not very spacious but it is bright and clean. There are also table seats at the back, with no customers when I arrived, but a couple of groups came in later. They offer three types of yakiniku lunch sets. I ordered the "Kalbi Lunch ¥1450" and the "Tanshio (single item) ¥1650". The Tanshio came with 6 pieces, which were of a good thickness, tender, and without any unpleasant smell. The Kalbi was marinated in sauce and had quite a bit of marbling. It came with a total of 10 pieces, making it quite filling. The set also included Sangchu salad, namul, kimchi, wakame soup, and a dessert of sherbet. The Kalbi was tender and of good quality for the lunch price. I enjoyed the meal so much that I ended up ordering an extra serving of rice for ¥370. Although I found the price of the large rice portion a bit surprising, I was satisfied with the delicious yakiniku lunch and would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

Used for a family birthday lunch. We ordered one of each of the three lunch menu options and waited a bit, but we were very satisfied. We kept saying "delicious" over and over. If this were a chain restaurant, it would easily be over 3000 yen for the same quality, but because it's a small, independent business, they keep the prices low. The various meats, large portions of rice, Chorogi salad, wakame soup, bibimbap with kimchi, and the yuzu sherbet that comes after the meal were all delicious and fulfilling. They provided us with extra plates for our kids, and the staff seemed experienced in dealing with children and entertained them frequently. It's not a very well-known restaurant, so you can usually walk in for lunch without a reservation, but dinner might be more difficult. It's a bit of a hidden gem. I would definitely want to come back if I have the chance.

I honestly felt that the overall quality was low to the point of being overpriced. I tried various cuts like tongue, harami, kalbi, and loin, but only the premium loin was delicious, while the others were just okay, maybe slightly better than a chain restaurant. Considering the price, it makes you wonder. The service was lackluster, not particularly friendly or attentive, more on the dull side. I don't think I'll be going back often, but I hope to find a delicious yakiniku restaurant around Nakano Station.

The restaurant serves delicious medium-grade short ribs. Honestly, I think the regular cuts are tastier than the premium ones (lol). I recommend the regular short ribs. Also, it's open for lunch on weekends, so it's really convenient when you want to have barbecue from noon.
