An emergency declaration was issued, so I couldn't drink in my local area after work (lol). I got off at Akihabara Station and headed to this shop. The shop was right by the Electric Town exit, and although I knew of its existence, this was my first visit. Since it was a little early in the evening, the shop with its glass walls was empty (lol). I wasn't sure if they served beer from looking at the menu outside, so I wandered around until a female staff member noticed me and confirmed that alcohol was served until 7 pm. I entered the shop. It's a conveyor belt sushi place, so the prices seemed reasonable. I sat at the counter in a U-shape and ordered a draft beer first. The draft beer was served promptly, and pickled ginger was served as a complimentary appetizer. I ordered the recommended menu item, a platter of three types of tuna and shrimp. Cheers to a hard day's work with the draft beer! The platter of three types of tuna arrived first - lean tuna, marinated tuna, and minced tuna battleship sushi. I took a bite of the lean tuna... hmm! What's with this rice and toppings? The toppings were dry, like they had been sitting in a refrigerated case, and the rice was too sweet and dry. It reminded me of the sushi that used to go around on a conveyor belt a long time ago (lol). The shrimp that was served next included red shrimp, sweet shrimp, and car shrimp. As I was eating, more customers came in and ordered something, but there wasn't much left, according to the staff. Hmm! It's true that the selection seemed limited compared to when I passed by the shop before, so I decided to leave at this point. However, just as I was about to leave, the staff who had been making the sushi until now was replaced. Hmm! Maybe things will change a bit with this change, I thought optimistically, so I ordered another beer and asked for kelp-pickled flounder. This was slightly better than the sushi from earlier, so I got carried away and added a platter of three types of white fish. The sushi was decent, but the flavor was lacking. It's really tough for restaurants in the current situation with the pandemic, and although I've reviewed similar places with this title before, I felt like using it again after a long time (lol). Today's lonely drink ended here~
