TACKNMON
Even in the summer, it seems that sleeping with a winter duvet is best. Setting the room temperature to around 26 degrees and using a winter duvet can result in high-quality sleep. Using a towel blanket is not recommended. I love curling up in a cold room with a duvet, it's Takumon! Today's feature is Sushi Bun, located near Ebisu Station, just a 4-meter hop from Exit 2 of the Hibiya Line. They have been in business since 1956! I visited for lunch on a weekday. Hello. June is ending today, time flies, right? We are already halfway through the year. I feel like eating fish today, not grilled, but raw. As I passed by the front of the restaurant, I noticed a sign for a limited-time "Bakudan Don" dish. A bomb? C4? It's like a shocking punchline. When I opened the wooden door, I was greeted by the reassuring atmosphere of a sushi restaurant. When I said I was alone, they offered me a seat at a shared table (laughs). No worries. When I asked for recommendations, the nice proprietress replied, "Everything." Her warm response and the many regular customers made me imagine that this was a popular spot. "Would you like hot tea or water?" she asked. I wanted both because it was hot and I was thirsty, so I said, "Both, please!" Water is a must when eating sushi, and tea is also important. They have Wi-Fi, but it's password-protected. There's a TV too. Today, I tried the "Bakudan Don" for 1200 yen. I added salmon roe for an additional 300 yen, which is definitely worth it! You can also get extra rice for 100 yen, but I ordered the regular size this time. After a while, it was brought to me. The dish also came with a fish bone soup. I was surprised by the amount of salmon roe, it was quite generous. The soup was delicious, with plenty of collagen from the fish bones. The contents of the Bakudan Don included various ingredients like fish, burdock root, pickled daikon, medium-fatty tuna, flying fish roe, natto, and egg yolk with seaweed. The dish is served in a rolled style. When I asked when to add the salmon roe, the proprietress said, "Hmm, maybe start eating normally first, and then you can add the salmon roe for a change of flavor," with a smile. Mixing it all together and eating it was incredibly delicious. I really like this dish. The natto was also tasty. The proprietress kindly offered more seaweed if needed, but there was already plenty (laughs). The salmon roe was fresh and delicious. I quickly finished eating as I had occupied a table for six, and settled the bill. It was a bit busy as the restaurant was full, and I felt bad for taking up space. It's a popular place. I hope this sushi restaurant continues to thrive in this area for a long time. Thank you for the meal. Takumon passing through. Bye-bye!
