I was looking for delicious and affordable sushi with good value for money. I wanted to find a place where I could eat on weekends at the same price as weekdays. I found a place near Ebisu Station, right in front of the 2nd exit. It looked like a normal sushi restaurant that I might hesitate to enter if I didn't know about it. I arrived at 11:30 AM and when I opened the door, there were already two regular customers inside. The chef pointed to a seat for me, leaving enough space between each customer at the counter. I didn't feel uncomfortable sitting next to the regular customers who were chatting happily. After about 10 minutes, I was served a sushi set for 1,400 yen. Everything was delicious in a normal way. The tuna was good for this price. Especially, the miso soup was so tasty that I wanted a second serving. Are there any other sushi restaurants on Saturdays where you can eat at this price? I think the cost performance is excellent. Of course, if you pay 4,000 yen, you can find many delicious options, but being able to eat affordably and conveniently without waiting in line made me very satisfied. I will definitely go back. Thank you for the meal.

I have been visiting this place regularly for a long time. The prices are affordable and the food is delicious. The yearly price increases are understandable as the meals were too cheap before. The Ebisu Don is a dream bowl filled with all the ingredients I love! It is wrapped in seaweed and served. However, the Chirashi sushi is also delicious, making it a tough choice. The chef, who is friendly and talkative, seems very knowledgeable. If he is not too busy, he may share some of his expertise with you. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great. It is conveniently located and offers the best value for both lunch and dinner, serving delicious sushi.

"People are thinking reeds." This is a quote from the philosopher Pascal, which means that humans may not be significant in the natural world, but they are capable of thinking. With that in mind, I thought about food while walking. I decided to go to Machi Sushi, just a 1-minute walk from Ebisu Station. The atmosphere inside the restaurant had a retro feel and was quite cozy, filled with lunch customers like salarymen and office ladies. While the chirashi and bakudan-don looked delicious, I opted for the nigiri set which came with 10 pieces and miso soup. I enjoy eating sushi that is not too fancy in a relaxed atmosphere like this. The size of the rice and fish was just right, and the texture of the rice and the vinegar flavor were perfect. In the end, I didn't really use my feet or have much time for contemplation, but I had a great time at this neighborhood sushi restaurant. In other words, it's important to not only think but also appreciate a certain level of sensibility and perception. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a popular and delicious town sushi restaurant in Ebisu! I stopped by a town sushi restaurant near the station. You can order a la carte, so you can have as much of your favorite toppings as you like. Today, I couldn't eat the shellfish, but I would like to try it next time. Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by on my way home from work. It's a local sushi restaurant near the west exit of Ebisu Station, just across Komazawa Street. The counter seats are full of regular customers. The sushi is carefully prepared, giving off a taste of traditional Edo-style sushi. I enjoyed ordering my favorite pieces one by one, along with chawanmushi and rolls, while having some drinks. I will definitely come back for lunch. Thank you for the meal!

I had been curious about a sushi restaurant near the station for a while. When I dropped by for lunch, I noticed that customers were coming in one after another. The lunch menu offers four options: sushi, seafood bowl, bakudan bowl, and Ebisu bowl. The Ebisu bowl comes with free ikura, which is normally an additional 300 yen. I ordered with less rice, but it was still very filling. The staff at the restaurant were incredibly kind and friendly, creating a warm atmosphere despite being in Ebisu. The freshness of the ingredients was also excellent. The sushi looked very delicious, with larger pieces of rice. I had a very satisfying lunch in a cozy space. I look forward to coming back for sushi next time.

Bomb rice bowl ¥1,400 Located right near Ebisu Station West Exit, this small restaurant has a counter and two tables. The owners, an older couple, run the place together. The dish didn't have much fish in it, but it was surprisingly filling. They give you one full sheet of nori to make your own nori rolls, which is a nice touch for nori roll lovers. Next time, I want to try their sushi.

The Ebi-Donburi! I asked for a smaller portion because I heard the regular size has a lot of rice, but even with less rice, the bowl was overflowing with generous toppings! The amount of ingredients was just amazing!! I am completely satisfied with it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and has a nostalgic, old-fashioned charm, like a local sushi restaurant in the countryside.

Ebisu Donburi for 1400 yen, limited to 10 servings per day. I arrived at 11:50 and there were still some left. The Bakudan comes with the same amount of ikura. The Bakudan is like a replacement for natto and fish with plenty of ikura. Surprisingly, you can eat it without soy sauce because of the large amount of ikura. It includes toro sukimyo, sujiko, takuan, egg, and nori at the bottom, which you mix with a spoon and wrap in the provided seaweed to eat. There are about 10 sheets of seaweed. It tastes delicious whether with or without nori. I feel healthier after eating a lot of seaweed. I want to eat this Ebisu Donburi at least ten times in my lifetime. The Matsuchirashi also looked good with plenty of ingredients.

After leaving the beauty salon, I wanted to have lunch nearby before heading home. I decided to go to a place that had caught my eye before, close to the station. It was around 11:30 on a Saturday and I seemed to be the first customer. The cheerful chef guided me to the counter. I ordered the Matsunigiri for 1400 yen, which came with miso soup. The slices of fish were thick and the rice was just the right size, not too small or too big. There was plenty of ginger too. It was delicious. Soon after, more customers arrived. Many ordered the Ebisu-don or started drinking alcohol in the afternoon. Everyone seemed to be regulars. Listening to the conversations between the chef and customers, it seemed like a fun atmosphere. It's a bright and lovely restaurant. I'd like to come back one evening for drinks.

I had been curious for a while and finally had the chance to visit. Even though it was my first time, I was warmly welcomed like a regular customer, with the master and the hostess also engaging in conversation. The customer service was excellent. I prefer this kind of place over high-end restaurants with a tense atmosphere, so this place is likely to be in my top 5 favorite sushi restaurants after just one visit. I didn't look at the menu for drinks, but the Bakudan Donburi was 1,400 yen and the ikura was 300 yen, so I assume a glass of draft beer is 500 yen. It's affordable. They kindly accommodated my request for "very little rice" in the Bakudan Donburi, and they even offered extra crispy and delicious seaweed. It's recommended for those watching their rice intake. If it were closer, I would go for dinner every week.

I ordered the Matsuchirashi for lunch. It cost 1400 yen including tax, and the fish was fresh with about half a bowl of rice. The elderly couple at the restaurant were cheerful and cute, and I felt soothed during my weekday lunch. I want to visit again.

After enjoying some tea at a café in Daikanyama, I went shopping and then had lunch at a sushi restaurant in front of Ebisu Station! The place was not crowded, but had a nice atmosphere. I sat at the counter with a display of sushi, and the friendly lady told me to put my bags next to me. I ordered the Bakudan Donburi and the master skillfully prepared it while chatting with regular customers and engaging with newcomers like me. He had a great way of connecting with everyone through conversation. The dish arrived, along with seaweed and miso soup. I mixed it all up, using my skills from eating mixed noodles, and took a bite. It was delicious! The flavors of the seaweed, various umami tastes, and chewiness all blended together smoothly. It made me want to take another bite right away. I thought the portion was small at first, but the seaweed made it satisfying to eat slowly. The master even checked if we needed more seaweed. I said I was good, but others around me asked for more. It was nice to receive extra seaweed as a service. It's amazing to find such a warm and welcoming atmosphere in such a convenient location, just 30 seconds from Ebisu Station. The city really has some wonderful surprises!

A long-established sushi restaurant located in front of Ebisu Station. I visited for lunch and ordered the limited edition Ebisu Don, of which only 10 servings are available. It arrived in just a few minutes - a seafood bowl with plenty of salmon roe on top. They serve the nori separately to prevent it from getting moist. I wonder if the difference between this and the limited edition Bakudan Don is just the amount of salmon roe? It was a delicious meal with lots of ingredients, mixing it with the soup and enjoying it together.

I have used this long-established sushi restaurant in Ebisu several times. It is a traditional sushi restaurant where you start with the chef's choice sashimi and then order individual sushi pieces. Sitting at the counter, the chef's thoughtful gestures like "I heard you like this, so I made it for you" are lovely. Although I couldn't take photos of all the dishes, I was particularly impressed by the luxurious sushi with a whole shellfish and the oily horse mackerel. The chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) was also a standout. Despite the rising cost of ingredients, they work hard to provide delicious sushi at a reasonable price. However, it's hard to ignore the fact that sushi as a whole has become more expensive...

The sushi restaurant is just a minute away from the station. I ordered the limited edition Ebisu Don for lunch. The chef and the hostess seemed quite elderly, giving off a gentle vibe. The donburi arrived with salmon, green onion, toro, egg, minced seaweed, pickled ginger, wasabi, and a separate plate of seaweed. You can either wrap the ingredients in seaweed or eat them straight from the bowl. The portion and taste were both satisfying. For 1,300 yen near Ebisu station, I will definitely come back for more.

Just a 30-second walk from Ebisu Station West Exit. A sushi restaurant right in front of the station, which I must have passed by hundreds of times without noticing it haha. The exterior may be a bit unassuming, but it's like a hidden gem in a bustling area where no one seems to go in, in a way. The interior is small and traditional, with a lively elderly female owner guiding you. I ordered the Bakudan Don lunch menu. It had Negitoro and avocado topped with flying fish roe, with an extra serving of ikura. The fish was fresh and surprisingly delicious. The other sushi sets looked appetizing too, so I'll try them next time. True to Edo-style sushi, the order comes out quickly, it's conveniently close to the station, and it's a nice little hidden gem sushi restaurant.

"寿司文" is located just a 1-minute walk from the west exit of Ebisu Station. This long-established sushi restaurant was founded in 1956. The exterior of the restaurant is quite charming, with a faded curtain that stands out on the main street in front of the station. Inside, the restaurant is clean and features an L-shaped counter with two tables. During my visit, there was only one other customer at the counter near the entrance. I decided to try the "Ebisu Don," a dish limited to 10 servings per day that I had been looking forward to. After a 12-minute wait, the dish arrived. Wow! There was so much ikura (salmon roe) that it was dazzling. The rice was mixed with various types of seafood, creating a rich umami flavor. The texture of the ikura and tobiko added a nice touch, and the overall flavor was incredibly delicious. Rolling the seaweed around the rice and seafood enhanced the flavor even more, and making mini hand rolls was enjoyable. The miso soup served on the side was also delicious and well-balanced. The portion size was larger than I expected, and even though I am a woman, I was completely satisfied with the generous amount of food. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience at "寿司文." 【Menu】 - Ebisu Don: 1200 yen

Even in the summer, it seems that sleeping with a winter duvet is best. Setting the room temperature to around 26 degrees and using a winter duvet can result in high-quality sleep. Using a towel blanket is not recommended. I love curling up in a cold room with a duvet, it's Takumon! Today's feature is Sushi Bun, located near Ebisu Station, just a 4-meter hop from Exit 2 of the Hibiya Line. They have been in business since 1956! I visited for lunch on a weekday. Hello. June is ending today, time flies, right? We are already halfway through the year. I feel like eating fish today, not grilled, but raw. As I passed by the front of the restaurant, I noticed a sign for a limited-time "Bakudan Don" dish. A bomb? C4? It's like a shocking punchline. When I opened the wooden door, I was greeted by the reassuring atmosphere of a sushi restaurant. When I said I was alone, they offered me a seat at a shared table (laughs). No worries. When I asked for recommendations, the nice proprietress replied, "Everything." Her warm response and the many regular customers made me imagine that this was a popular spot. "Would you like hot tea or water?" she asked. I wanted both because it was hot and I was thirsty, so I said, "Both, please!" Water is a must when eating sushi, and tea is also important. They have Wi-Fi, but it's password-protected. There's a TV too. Today, I tried the "Bakudan Don" for 1200 yen. I added salmon roe for an additional 300 yen, which is definitely worth it! You can also get extra rice for 100 yen, but I ordered the regular size this time. After a while, it was brought to me. The dish also came with a fish bone soup. I was surprised by the amount of salmon roe, it was quite generous. The soup was delicious, with plenty of collagen from the fish bones. The contents of the Bakudan Don included various ingredients like fish, burdock root, pickled daikon, medium-fatty tuna, flying fish roe, natto, and egg yolk with seaweed. The dish is served in a rolled style. When I asked when to add the salmon roe, the proprietress said, "Hmm, maybe start eating normally first, and then you can add the salmon roe for a change of flavor," with a smile. Mixing it all together and eating it was incredibly delicious. I really like this dish. The natto was also tasty. The proprietress kindly offered more seaweed if needed, but there was already plenty (laughs). The salmon roe was fresh and delicious. I quickly finished eating as I had occupied a table for six, and settled the bill. It was a bit busy as the restaurant was full, and I felt bad for taking up space. It's a popular place. I hope this sushi restaurant continues to thrive in this area for a long time. Thank you for the meal. Takumon passing through. Bye-bye!

Arrived at Ebisu around noon on Saturday. This restaurant seems to have been around for a while. I've never been here before, usually I wander around the Atre shopping mall, but this time I decided to check this place out. They serve sushi for lunch on Saturdays. Normally, when I have sushi for lunch, I usually go for nigiri. Occasionally, if there's an interesting bowl, I'll go for chirashi. This place is known for their Ebisu Don and another Salmon Ikura Don, but I don't like ikura, so I was planning to go for nigiri. However, they had a special Bakudan Don available, as the other two bowls were not available due to some issue with sourcing the ingredients. This piqued my interest as it's something I can only try now. The price was the same as the chirashi and nigiri at 1200 yen. The Bakudan Don arrived with roasted seaweed on the side. The restaurant was small, with a counter and a few tables. The staff were friendly. The Bakudan Don had a vibrant look with egg yolk, tobiko, nori, negitoro, natto, takuan, and kanpyo. It didn't have much fish, but it was tasty, especially if you like natto. The miso soup with fish broth was delicious. Overall, I think I prefer nigiri when it comes to lunch sushi.
