There aren't many places in Yotsuya Sanchome that seem child-friendly, but I asked if it would be okay to bring my child here and they had children's chairs available. The restroom was clean and even had a diaper changing station, which was a pleasant surprise. For lunch, I had the business lunch set with XO sauce fried rice and xiaolongbao, with a pot of jasmine tea. It's been a while since I've had such refined fried rice, and it was delicious, although the XO sauce flavor was a bit subtle due to the abundance of eggs. It's a bit pricey, but the xiaolongbao was also delicious, and I'd like to visit again. I forgot to take a picture of the main fried rice dish.

I felt like having some dim sum, so I stopped by this place. It was surprisingly empty on a Saturday afternoon, maybe because of its location in Yotsuya. I was thinking of getting the lunch course, but decided to go a la carte because I heard the same dumplings come with the course. I ordered the 7-color dumplings, scallion pancake, daikon radish, mochi, and chimaki. The dumplings were delicious, especially the one with scallions inside. The sesame-covered skin was crispy and complemented the flavorful scallions perfectly. Overall, the food was good, but the lunch can be quite expensive, nearing 5000 yen, and the course options are not very appealing. Just needs a little more balance overall.

I visited for lunch. I ordered the B set (appetizer + 3 kinds of xiaolongbao + scallion pancake + almond jelly) and a small serving of shrimp fried rice. The xiaolongbao were freshly made and the soup overflowed as soon as I bit into them, so delicious! The scallion pancake, which I had been curious about since reading a certain gourmet manga, turned out to be crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, with a delicious taste that seems addictive. Overall, the seasoning is light and easy to eat. I heard a rumor that the main store in Shinjuku is popular among Taiwanese businessmen. If the authentic place gives its stamp of approval, then it must be good. I think it's a great place to enjoy casual dim sum.

I visited Taiwan for authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Instead of ordering a lunch set, I decided to order various dishes a la carte. We ordered too much for two people, including pork xiaolongbao (5 pieces), coriander and sea bream xiaolongbao (5 pieces), steamed dumplings with leeks and shrimp (3 pieces), stir-fried pea shoots, Shaoxing drunken chicken, shrimp fried rice, and two bottles of Asahi Super Dry 500ml. The food was delicious and we managed to finish everything without overeating. The restaurant was clean and the service was prompt. However, ordering a la carte may not be the best value for money. Overall, I felt that Din Tai Fung might have been more impressive than this restaurant.

Lunch at a famous xiaolongbao restaurant on a weekday. I ordered the weekday special xiaolongbao set with a choice of noodles or rice, appetizers, and dessert. I chose the soy milk tantanmen and had to order a drink as per the restaurant's policy. I ordered jasmine tea. The appetizers were boiled pork slices and stir-fried tofu with greens. The tantanmen had thin noodles and a mild taste due to the soy milk. The xiaolongbao was not too hot to eat immediately. The Taiwanese castella was fluffy. The prices are slightly higher compared to nearby restaurants, so it seems more suitable for those with some time to enjoy a leisurely lunch rather than busy businessmen.

I visited the restaurant with a friend for the first time at night. As expected of a famous restaurant in Taiwan, I was very satisfied with the taste and service. In particular, the highlight of the course, the beef noodle soup, had firm noodles, a rich soup, and an elegant flavor. The pieces of meat were tender and there were plenty of them. I would like to visit again.

Last time I came, I had the course menu. This time, it was almost the same members as last time, but the arrival times were different, so we ordered a la carte. However, besides their famous dim sum, everything else was really delicious too. I was thinking of bringing my beautiful wife who is only good for looking pretty, but I still haven't brought her... I'll be in trouble!

The interior of the restaurant is very spacious and has a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and it was nice that they talked to us. Even though it was lunchtime, there was no rush and we were able to eat slowly. I chose the fried rice from the lunch menu. Everything was delicious. The triangular... was like a Korean pancake and it was tasty. The main dish, the soup dumplings, was my favorite. I love how the juice spreads in my mouth when I eat them. The flavor of the soup dumplings was gentle and I think anyone would like them. I also ordered Taiwanese tea separately, and they brought it with a candle lit, so I could enjoy it warm for a long time. The staff also came by a few times to check on us.

About 6 years ago, I heard that the popular Taipei restaurant "Dian Shui Lou" was preparing to open a branch near my house. They are famous for their rainbow xiao long bao dumplings. They invested a lot of money and time to create a real restaurant in Tokyo, even buying land and building a new building. It took about 2 and a half years for the restaurant to finally open, and it was a joyous occasion. About a year later, they opened a flagship store in Shinjuku, which was also a grand building. To celebrate the opening of the flagship store, the branch in Yotsuya is offering a Saturday dim sum all-you-can-eat special! I wish I could have been alive to enjoy it... it's a bit frustrating. I enjoyed a leisurely and elegant lunch with Eastern beauty tea. The famous seven-color xiao long bao dumplings arrived first. The colors on the dough are natural vegetable-based dyes. Starting with the regular pork filling xiao long bao, I ate my way around the plate, enjoying the different flavors and textures of each dumpling. Each one was unique and delicious, with a variety of fillings and textures. I also tried their daikon mochi, which had a crispy exterior and a soft interior. When I asked the staff for a recommendation, they suggested trying the "Nanzna Pie" for a fun texture experience. It was made with chopped nanzna greens, green onions, shiitake mushrooms, and sesame seeds sandwiched between pie crust and baked until crispy. It was a delightful combination of textures and flavors. I also tried a dish of beef noodles with pea shoots and herb seeds, which was a perfect ending to the meal. The strong flavors of the beef noodle soup, combined with the fragrant spices, made me feel energized. The thick-cut noodles had a chewy texture, and the tender beef melted in my mouth. The pea shoots added a fresh crunch to the dish, enhancing the overall dining experience.

This is my 7th visit. I visited during lunchtime on a weekday. As always, it was quiet and very relaxing. I ordered the business lunch set as usual. The fried rice and xiaolongbao were delicious as always. For dessert, I tried Taiwanese castella for the first time. It was my first time trying Taiwanese castella since it became popular, and it was very delicious. It had multiple layers and a refined and delicate texture. It was very moist. The sweetness was just right. I also felt a nostalgic taste with the peanut butter.

This is my 4th visit. The interior of the restaurant is long and elegant, creating a calm atmosphere. While the prices here are a bit high, the business lunch on weekdays is relatively reasonable. The handmade thin-skinned xiaolongbao dumplings are delicious, filled with juicy meat. It's disappointing that the free tea is now charged for.

I visited the popular Taiwanese restaurant Dian Shui Lou in Shinjuku Yotsuya Sanchome. It's a branch of the famous Din Tai Fung, which I like more than the original in Taiwan. The entrance is narrow, but I was seated on the first floor. The restaurant is long and narrow, with an open kitchen leading to the back seats. I tried the dim sum all-you-can-eat special for the anniversary of the Yotsuya branch opening. The lunchtime special is only available on Saturdays from 11:30 am to 5 pm. I chose the 3500 yen course which includes all-you-can-eat dim sum with 3 varieties. The xiaolongbao (pork soup dumplings) were delicious and a great deal at 3500 yen for unlimited servings. The appetizer was pumpkin cooked in Shaoxing wine. The xiaolongbao were served in a steamer, and I mistakenly ordered only 2 pieces at first. The staff, who were not Japanese, brought me only 2 pieces, but I managed to get more later. The xiaolongbao were smaller than those in Taiwan but still tasty. I also tried the vegetable dumplings, which were not as good as the shrimp dumplings. Lastly, I had the dessert of syrupy mochi and red dates. Overall, the service was a bit amateurish, but I was told to come back again. I would prefer to eat at a Taiwanese restaurant next time.

When it comes to colorful xiaolongbao, I remember Din Tai Fung in Ginza. The dumplings there had a beautiful marbled skin, which was also very pretty. As for the taste, it was really good. I wasn't sure about the crab miso flavor, but the asparagus and shrimp xiaolongbao and the truffle xiaolongbao were the most delicious. This time, we ordered a la carte, but I heard that the lunch menu is a great deal, so I would like to visit during lunchtime next time.

On a weekday, I had some business in Yotsuya, so I decided to stop by here since a friend in Taiwan said it was delicious. The restaurant is a bit difficult to type in kanji, so it's a bit of a hassle when searching on Tabelog. I arrived at around 11:40 am and the only customers were a pair of salarymen. I was seated at a small table in the back. I ordered the A lunch set for 1540 yen (tax included). Warm wet towels and hot Chinese tea were served. The Chinese tea was refilled regularly by the staff. The service was attentive overall. The appetizer, "nikogori," arrived quickly and was delicious. Next, the standard xiaolongbao was served, and the steam was impressive. The first bite was scorching hot, but the soup inside was flavorful. The following dishes were enjoyable, including the pan-fried daikon cake and Ningbo fried rice. The mango pudding dessert was a refreshing end to the meal. The restroom had individually packaged liquid toothpaste available for use. The meal concluded with a few pieces of peppermint candy and paper napkins. I took one peppermint and saved the rest. Overall, the experience was satisfying.

This is a famous xiaolongbao restaurant from Taiwan. The lunch set ranges from 1,400 yen. I ordered Set A which includes appetizers, 3 pork xiaolongbao, grilled daikon mochi, Ningbo fried rice, and aloe lemon juice. The xiaolongbao is delicious, but overall the portion is small and I find it expensive for 1,540 yen. Also, I just realized that the aloe lemon juice never came! Money spent: 1,540 yen. Rating: 3 points.

This year, for the first dining out of the year, I decided to visit a restaurant called "Ten Sui Ro" in the neighborhood. This restaurant is famous for its delicious xiaolongbao, with its main branch in Taiwan. It opened last year and has been steadily popular, with a loyal customer base. Rather than becoming a sudden hit, this restaurant has maintained its popularity steadily. I am grateful to have such a restaurant in the neighborhood. They have a special dish to celebrate the new year called "Seven-color Vegetable Xiaolongbao." These xiaolongbao are colored using vegetable-derived pigments, with seven different fillings offering a variety of textures, flavors, and aromas. Each xiaolongbao should be eaten in the order they are served, starting with pork, followed by broccoli and shrimp, crab miso, truffle with komatsuna, sansho pepper, and ma la. Each filling brings a unique and delicious experience, making the meal enjoyable. The meal also included "Cai Pu Dan," a Taiwanese home-cooked dish made of egg mixed with diced seasoned radish and scallions. It was reminiscent of a quiche, with a fluffy texture and a crispy exterior. Another dish, "Shi Zi Tou," featured a large pork meatball steamed with plenty of Chinese cabbage and glass noodles, creating a flavorful soup. The meal ended with beef noodles and lu rou fan, both popular Taiwanese dishes. The beef noodles had a rich flavor from soy sauce and beef broth, while the lu rou fan had a strong aroma of Chinese spices. Overall, the meal was delicious and a perfect way to celebrate the new year.

When I felt like eating dim sum, I had the opportunity to go out with my daughters to Yotsuya Sancho-me, so we decided to try this restaurant. The exterior looked like a high-end establishment, but the prices were not too expensive. The interior was long and narrow. You could see the kitchen through glass windows where they were making dim sum. My daughters also ordered xiaolongbao, and I ordered lo mein, Taiwanese ramen, and fried rice, which were quite standard dishes. Each dish was small, which might be just right for women. The flavors were decent and clean, but lacked a bit of punch. Honestly, while the restaurant's ambiance and staff gave off a high-end vibe, the food itself was quite ordinary.

I heard from someone that their favorite xiaolongbao shop from Taiwan had opened here, so I decided to visit. I had xiaolongbao in Taiwan before, with thin skin filled with plenty of soup and delicious flavor. I was excited to try it here. The xiaolongbao was indeed very delicious! The skin was extremely thin, almost fragile, and the filling was full of soup. I ordered pork xiaolongbao, mentaiko shiso xiaolongbao, crab miso xiaolongbao, shrimp chili, shrimp fried rice, braised pork rice, and pan-fried xiaolongbao. In conclusion, I liked the pork xiaolongbao the best for its simplicity! However, the mentaiko shiso xiaolongbao had a surprising Japanese flavor and was delicious, while the crab miso xiaolongbao, although not on the menu, was offered for 400 yen each and was full of delicious crab miso flavor. The braised pork rice had a subtle star anise aroma and a mild taste. The shrimp chili was delicious with a lingering spiciness. The shrimp fried rice had a standard flavor and was slightly bland, so I enjoyed it with the shrimp chili. The pan-fried xiaolongbao had a thick and rough skin, larger than expected, and was very hot inside. One disappointment was that the braised pork rice came out before the xiaolongbao, and there was a long wait for other dishes to be served, causing the xiaolongbao to cool down before I could finish them. Next time, I will ask them to bring out the xiaolongbao first! The fried rice and braised pork rice were single servings, which was nice as I could try different varieties. Thank you for the meal!

First visit. I felt the aura of a beautiful store front and delicious food when passing by the shop several times, so I visited on Sunday afternoon. I had the dim sum course for 3,500 yen. The taste is undeniably delicious. Plenty of volume and very satisfying. Next, I would like to try the 5,000 yen course without dim sum.
