"The food court at Tsukiji Fish Market Dining, East Capital Grill Tsukiji Fish Market Branch, is located on the 3rd floor of the Tsukiji Fish Market building. It is close to the main branch, which was established in 1963 and is a long-standing establishment. Other vendors at the food court include Tekkaya, Toritou, and Odahos. They also sell alcohol and snacks at each counter, and there are terrace seats available, making it a hidden gem. The menu features Japanese-style Western dishes such as ginger pork, omurice, curry, and various fried dishes. You can also find tuna sashimi and set meals typical of Tsukiji. The Katsu Curry costs 900 yen. After ordering, you will receive a buzzer to wait at your seat. The dish consists of a large plate with rice topped with tonkatsu and plenty of curry, served on a tray. The curry is smooth and rich, with a spicy kick that comes later. It does not contain potatoes or carrots, but instead has beef-like meat. The tonkatsu is crispy and freshly fried. The pork is thinly sliced, but the lean meat is tender and the fatty part is juicy. The combination of crispy tonkatsu and curry is excellent. While tonkatsu curry at traditional tonkatsu restaurants is delicious when eaten with salt, here the tonkatsu tastes better when paired with curry. This retro-style Western restaurant's tonkatsu curry may not be easy to replicate at home, but it is a well-executed dish in its own right."

On September 12, 2023 (Tuesday) at the Fish Market Dining Hall in the food court. This is a food court in Tsukiji. The omurice here is simple and delicious. It has plenty of ketchup and is a bit nostalgic. Thank you, Tetchan! (´▽`)

Visit Date: Weekday around 1 pm
Menu: Omurice 1050 yen
Located on the 3rd floor of Tsukiji Uogashi
This dining spot is not aimed at tourists like other shops in Tsukiji, so the prices are fair. The Omurice is visually appealing with neatly poured ketchup, but the taste is quite average. The food court was busy with many tourists, so I would like to visit the main store next time. Thank you for the meal! (•‿•)

I went to Tsukiji on a whim on Saturday, and it was crowded with tourists and foreigners everywhere. This place was empty, so I went in without researching. I ordered the Mixed Fry Set for 1400 yen and asked if it would take about 10 minutes, but was told it would be around 20 minutes, so I ordered a beer for 650 yen. I went to pick up my order after waiting for about 10 minutes. I didn't have to wait 20 minutes at all. The fry was full of variety. The batter was light. I couldn't tell what kind of fish it was except for the horse mackerel fry. Oh, there was also scallop. It was really delicious. They probably intentionally used a white fish that could be eaten raw for the fry, which came out half-cooked. The tartar sauce and white rice weren't that tasty, but the fry was really fluffy, crispy, and remained fluffy even after some time, with a nice salty flavor. It's a bit pricey due to the touristy location, but it's within an acceptable range. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant "Tokyo Grill Tsukiji Uogashi-ten" with a rating of 3.38 on Tabelog. The location is in the Tsukiji Outer Market. The exterior is in a building on the 3rd floor of the Tsukiji Uogashi, with a dining area. The interior has a food court in the center with various popular shops. It is clean and well-maintained. The main store is a well-known Western-style restaurant in the area, offering a wide range of menu items. Popular dishes include Mixed Fry, Omelette Rice, and Pork Cutlet Curry. The freshly fried Mixed Fry is excellent, served with sauce and tartar, it is a classic and delicious dish. I think it is a great restaurant.

Near the Hachiman Shrine, there is a restaurant called "Tohto Grill". This area is not crowded with tourists, so even on busy weekends, it's easy to walk around (lol). They offer a wide range of menu items, from coffee to Japanese and Western dishes, as well as alcohol and snacks. It feels more like a market eatery than a family restaurant. The spacious interior is about 80% full, with few tourists in sight. I felt like having something like fried oysters or seafood fry set, so I decided to try the "Tuna and Scallop Fry Set" which was a bit pricey but worth it! I was prepared for a long wait due to the busy atmosphere, but the food arrived in about 10 minutes. The first impression was a bit different from what I had imagined. I thought the scallop fry would be the main dish with a little bit of tuna on the side, but it turned out to be 7 pieces of tuna with 2 small scallop fries. Considering it's "top-quality tuna", the price of 1850 yen seemed reasonable, but I actually wished there was more sashimi and less fry (lol). Both dishes were acceptable, with slightly thin miso soup and soft rice. In addition to the fry and sashimi, there were pickles and grated radish with fish flakes. The tuna included lean and medium fatty cuts, and since I usually only have cheap tuna, the "top-quality tuna" label made it taste delicious. It was really tasty, even though I'm not a connoisseur of tuna (lol). No, it was delicious enough, and it's been a while since tuna and rice tasted this good to me. As for the scallop fry, they only used the meat for the fry, and the size was small. It was tasty, but I wished there was a bit more to savor. Seafood fry with sashimi is the best combination, after all! So, thanks for the meal.

Platt, today's lunch was a stroll around Tsukiji. Exiting from exit A1 of Tsukiji Market Station on the Oedo Line, you will find yourself on Shiodome Avenue. Turn right after exiting the exit and continue straight towards the Tsukiji Honganji Temple for a while. Cross the first Ichiba Bridge signal, then turn right and walk towards the Harumi direction along Namiki Street. After a while, you will see Tsukiji Uogashi Odawara Bridge Building on your right. Take the elevator on the left side of this building to the 3rd floor where you will find the food court Uogashi Shokudo, and inside it is the restaurant I visited today, "Tohto Grill Tsukiji Uogashi Branch". I arrived at the Uogashi Shokudo food court at 1:05 pm on a weekday. First, I walked around the food court and found that some places had already finished serving lunch by this time. Since I was in the mood for Western food today, I headed to the counter of "Tohto Grill". There were no other customers. I checked the menu on the counter and decided to order the "Omelette Rice" as it sounded good. I asked the female staff if there were any "quick to prepare" options since there is often a wait at the food court. She replied that they could prepare any dish quickly as it was not busy at the moment. I ordered the "Omelette Rice" and went to pay. Normally, you can pay with a barcode but today, they only accepted cash due to a machine issue. I received a buzzer for when my order was ready and found a seat in the food court while waiting. After 3 minutes of waiting, the "Omelette Rice" was served. It consisted of "Omelette Rice" and a side salad. The visual presentation of the "Omelette Rice" was beautiful, with the bright yellow of the egg contrasting nicely with the red ketchup, making it look very appealing. The taste was also excellent, with a buttery omelette, tangy ketchup-flavored chicken rice - a classic dish done well. I enjoyed the "Omelette Rice" along with the salad and finished it in no time. I thought it would have been even better with a cup of consomme soup. Overall, I had a satisfying lunch today with the delicious Omelette Rice. Thank you for the meal.

Today's lunch plan was to have fried horse mackerel, so I headed to "Oda Ho Uogashi-ten" at Tsukiji Uogashi Market, but they were closed today. In times like this, I decided to go to the East To Grill. Although I had just visited the main store recently, their menu is so diverse that I knew I would find something satisfying for today. The lineup mainly consisted of Western dishes, as if it was due to the kitchen setup. I ended up ordering the Omelette Rice for 950 yen (tax included). The omelette was fluffy and creamy, enveloping the ketchup-flavored rice perfectly coated with just the right amount of ketchup. The buttery aroma and richness elevated the deliciousness to the next level. When in doubt, East To Grill is the place to go. Thank you very much. Bon appétit.

I visited "Tokyo Grill" at Tsukiji Uogashi Food Court for lunch. I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered the lunch plate for 1000 yen, which seemed like a good deal. The restaurant offers a variety of Western dishes. The lunch plate included half an omelette rice, a mini hamburger, shrimp fry, spaghetti, and salad. It felt a bit like a kids' meal in terms of portion size. For an additional 200 yen, you can upgrade to a regular size omelette rice. I enjoyed the crispy and delicious shrimp fry, especially with the tartar sauce.

The long-established "Tohto Grill" has been satisfying the stomachs of market workers for years. They also have a branch called "Tohto Grill Tsukiji Fish Market Store" in an off-market food court. Located on the 3rd floor of the Tsukiji Fish Market Odawara Bridge Building, just a 3-minute walk from the intersection of Tsukiji 4-chome, the menu features attractive photo menus that catch the attention of visitors. The menu mainly consists of curry dishes, including the popular Katsu Curry, as well as Ginger Pork and fresh fish fry dishes. Some of the main menu items include:
- Pork Ginger Pork Set Meal 1050 yen
- Katsu Curry 950 yen
- Curry and Hayashi Combo 1000 yen
- Crab Cream Croquette Set Meal 1200 yen
- Pork Cutlet Set Meal 1250 yen
- Seafood Fry Curry 1100 yen
- Mixed Fry Set Meal 1400 yen
- Oyster Fry Set Meal 1350 yen (available from March to October)
- Omelette Rice 950 yen
- Tuna Sashimi Set Meal 1400 yen
One recommended dish is the Mixed Fry Set Meal for 1400 yen. After placing your order, you will receive a buzzer to wait for your meal. In about 3 minutes, the buzzer will go off, and you can pick up your plate of mixed fry with rice, miso soup, and pickles. The dish includes white fish, shrimp, scallops, and horse mackerel, each offering a different taste and texture to enjoy. The crispy coating of the horse mackerel reveals a tender and sweet flesh, while the scallop adds a rich sweetness that leaves you wanting more. The shrimp is plump and juicy, complemented by a side of tartar sauce for an extra kick. Overall, the meal was satisfying and enjoyable.
Although the dining area may be busier than before, this hidden gem provides a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the market.

During the day, there seem to be many customers drinking. Today I ordered the B set meal "Chicken sauté, tuna sashimi" for 950 yen. It included 3 pieces of red tuna sashimi and about 100g of chicken thigh. The sauce was like Aurora sauce, a nostalgic taste. They have a wide variety of menu items, so I want to revisit with multiple people to enjoy snacks and drinks. Thank you for the meal.

Located a 4-minute walk from Tsukiji Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, this restaurant is situated on the outskirts of Tsukiji Market. It's a hidden gem in the area, especially when the main market is crowded. I went there hoping to try the Chashu Egg set from "Odahou," but unfortunately, it was sold out. Instead, I ordered the Mixed Fry from "Tohto Grill" next door. It included fried shrimp, scallops, white fish, and squid, served with rice, miso soup, pickles, and a side dish of hijiki seaweed. The seafood mix fry was delicious and satisfying, a must-try at this Tsukiji food court.

In between errands, I wanted to recharge so I came here... I looked at the menu on the wall and the Napolitan and Tonkatsu caught my eye. I decided to go for the Napolitan with a side of pork cutlet, a combination that only East Tokyo Grill can offer. I placed my order, paid at the counter, and was given a buzzer to wait at my table. After a short wait, the buzzer went off and I picked up my food at the counter. I added some powdered cheese and dug in. The flavors were truly reminiscent of a Western-style diner. I enjoyed the pork cutlet and buttery Napolitan thoroughly, finishing every last bite. I returned my dishes and left the table. I think this place is worth a visit every now and then.

The lunchtime turned into a heavy rain, so I gave up on taking a post-meal walk and instead enjoyed a leisurely time at the fish market food court. I tried the lunch plate from Higashito Grill for ¥1,000, which included omurice, hamburger, and shrimp fry. It was delicious, but a bit like a kids' meal (laughs). The food court seems to target tourists, as all the prices are set a bit high for regular use. If the weather was better, I would have walked a bit to go to the main store.

On a rainy Sunday in early May, I came to "Kitsuneya" to eat gyudon, but they were closed. I walked around the outskirts and took the elevator up to the third floor food court at Tsukiji Uogashi. There were less than half the tables occupied by customers. I remembered having something to eat and drink on the benches outside here before, but never actually eating inside. I looked around at the closed shops and decided on "Toh-to Grill" at the end of the row. I ordered the pork cutlet curry (900 yen) and a medium-sized draft beer (I think it was 600 yen?). The beer arrived right after I paid, and I waited for the cutlet curry with the buzzer. I thought to myself, "I always go for pork cutlet curry and beer wherever I go." Three minutes later, I received the cutlet curry. The cutlet was not pork loin, but it was tender and lacked fat, similar to a thin pork cutlet. The curry was delicious, with just the right amount of spiciness. As I drank the beer and ate, I noticed a picture of a "lunch plate for 1,000 yen" on the wall and decided to add it. The plate had half covered in ketchup omelet rice, shrimp fry with tartar sauce and lemon, hamburger with demi-glace sauce, and spaghetti with ketchup-like color. It looked like a children's lunch and stimulated my appetite. I received it after 4 to 5 minutes. The buttery aroma of the omelet rice was not bad. The shrimp fry was tasty with the tartar sauce. However, the hamburger was too soft and tasted like it came from a retort pouch. This place is very convenient for a quick meal even on a holiday afternoon. If I'm ever unsure of where to go, I'll probably come back here again. Thank you for the meal!

Once again, it was a dish that reminded me of a mixed fry. The combination of swordfish, scallops, shrimp fry, and horse mackerel fry had a good oiliness and was delicious. The tartar sauce also had a nice texture with bits of pickles, which I liked. I really enjoy the beef stew here, and I have found another favorite dish. Thank you for the meal.

The pork was thick and had a satisfying texture. I really liked the small portion of Napoli sauce that came with it. The shredded cabbage, soaked in the ginger pork sauce, was delicious and didn't even need dressing. (November 26, 2022: Visit) Nearby, there is a main store that operates from early morning, which is already full due to its great popularity. However, here in the food court, we were able to be the first in line to order as the opening time is later! We tried the "Tokyo Grill Recommended" dish that caught our eye on the sign, and we couldn't resist the "Beef Stew (single item)" which was said to be limited in quantity! We chose the "Crab Croquette" as a side dish! In a slightly small scallop-shaped plate, there were several pieces of diced beef soaking in a demi-glace sauce! As once praised by Chef Kawagoe, the mature and tangy flavor is truly irresistible♪ The freshly fried hot Crab Cream Croquette is crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, making it a standout dish♪ The only regret is that we didn't order rice considering our stomach condition... Today, my wife and I went to see Ebizo Ichikawa's kabuki performance at the Shimbashi Enbujō theater. We watched the 12:00 and 16:00 shows, so we decided to have lunch around the area. We walked about 10 minutes to Tsukiji Market, where most shops were closing around 2:30 pm. We ended up choosing a restaurant inside the fish market's food court. I ordered the mixed fry set, while my wife had the omurice. The dishes were served with miso soup and pickles. The mixed fry set had a good variety of seafood including shrimp, scallops, horse mackerel, squid, and something that looked like flounder, all for 1350 yen. The fried items were light and fresh, very satisfying. My wife's omurice came with a side salad and cost 950 yen, which I found a bit expensive. The fluffy egg and ketchup rice combination was decent but nothing special. Overall, I felt that choosing seafood dishes in this area was the way to go.

I was quite hungry from the morning, so I had the hearty ginger pork set meal here. Tsukiji Uogashi is a commercial facility located outside of Tsukiji that opened in 2016. It houses many fish wholesalers, allowing the general public to easily purchase seafood. The main store is located diagonally across from Tsukiji Namiyoke Shrine. The flavor was very simple, but the ginger pork was delicious and not boring. These kinds of set meal restaurants are important. Thank you for the meal♪

This day was a holiday on Saturday. For a late breakfast/lunch, I went to the fish market "Higashi-Tsuto Grill" outside Tsukiji. I was in the mood for curry, so I ordered the "Seafood Fry Curry". Since it was a day off, I decided to have a medium-sized draft beer as well. I received the buzzer and waited for a while at a table outside the restaurant. I enjoyed my beer while waiting, and in about 5 minutes, the buzzer went off indicating that my curry was ready. I lightly poured soy sauce over the shrimp, scallop, and tuna fry. The fry was delicious and hot. The curry was okay. The portion of rice and curry was not enough to make me full. It might be good for comparing with other restaurants. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was also nice, but perhaps the main branch is more comfortable. (Visit rating: 3.38)
