The 5th floor of Ariake Garden was really amazing. With a food court and dining restaurants divided into different areas, it was great to be able to choose a restaurant based on budget and preference. Since I often go out alone, I decided to have a quick meal in the food court area that day. It was a hot day, so I chose to have cold noodles at Hanbijae Ariake Garden branch. The cold noodles (780 yen) came with a side of kimchi. The noodles made from buckwheat flour had a great texture, and the soup was delicious. It had a rich flavor but was refreshing at the same time. The meat (probably chicken) was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It was a satisfying meal, and I was grateful to be able to enjoy such high-quality cold noodles for less than 1000 yen. It's hard to find Korean food in my rural area, so it was a treat to have such delicious cold noodles.

For lunch on November 6th, I went to Hanbijae on the 5th floor of Ariake Garden. It's a casual Korean restaurant that you can find in various places, including Lalaport Toyosu nearby. It was quite crowded at the food court during Sunday lunchtime. I ordered the Cold Noodles & Bulgogi Kimbap Set for 1,280 yen. The cold noodles were refreshing with their cold soup and chewy noodles, perfect for cooling down on a hot day. The Bulgogi Kimbap was flavorful with plenty of meat, just like its name suggests. It also came with crispy jeon, a small but tasty addition. This set was perfect for when you want to try a little bit of everything. They also offer other dishes like Bibimbap, Sundubu, Samgyupsal Bibimbap, Vegetable Kimbap with 7 ingredients, and Hattug, so I'll try those next time.

At Aomi Garden, I ordered the "Half & Half C Set" which combines two popular dishes: the Three-Layered Pork Samgyeopsal Stone Bibimbap and Cold Noodles set. The bibimbap is served in a hot stone pot with rice and seasoned Three-Layered Pork Samgyeopsal on top, topped with a raw egg yolk. Mix it all together in the hot pot to create crispy rice while enjoying the perfect combination of rice and seasoned pork. The cold noodles are a refreshing choice, with a gentle flavor broth, cucumber, watercress, char siu, and boiled egg. Slurping the noodles helps cool down the body heat. The set also comes with seafood pancake, which is a nice addition. Overall, the meal was delicious and satisfying.

It had been 10 days since the three of us went out. I ordered the Sundubu and Chijimi set. Compared to Yukgaejang soup, I prefer Yukgaejang soup because it has more richness and flavor. But I was worried it might be too spicy to eat, but I was able to eat it.

On March 12, 2022, I visited Hanmi Sinsa in the food court at Ariake Garden for some errands. I originally planned to go to Takesei Udon next door, but ended up changing my mind while waiting in line and opted for the tofu stew instead. The pure tofu stew with rice costs 750 yen excluding tax, but I was able to use a 10% OFF discount by presenting my Ariake Garden card. I rang the bell and my order was brought to me - a simple dish of pure tofu with rice. I wished they had provided a small dish of kimchi as well. I couldn't help but think about how different it would be if I were dining at a Korean restaurant in Shin-Okubo, where you would get a variety of side dishes. The taste of the pure tofu stew was quite ordinary but delicious, and the rice was also average. Overall, it was a safe and decent meal. Thank you for the meal!

Two people went to Ariake Garden. We had Kalbi Stone Bibimbap. It was a delicious bibimbap with the spiciness of gochujang and ingredients like lotus root. My partner had a set of Sundubu and seasoned stone bibimbap. I tried it and it was also delicious. After that, we had a chocolate parfait at Hobson's.

The rice was hard! I ordered the pure tofu set, but all the rice was hard and dry, like it had been left out for hours and had dried up and cracked. The pure tofu was delicious, but I didn't like the rice. It's a shame.

It's been a while since I went out. I had lunch at the food court in Ariake Garden. I chose "Hanmisun" Ariake Garden branch. You can easily enjoy Korean cuisine here. I had the stone pot bibimbap. It came with soup and was served piping hot. It was delicious with a spicy kick. They also have cold noodles and other options. I would like to visit again.

We had an early lunch at this place in the food court of Arime Garden. Although the opening hours were from 11:00, we arrived a bit early and waited at a table in the court. The udon shop next to us had a long line already. We decided to order the cold noodles right when they opened. The cold noodles were simple and nothing special, but it was a good choice to beat the heat.

I had been curious about Hanmi Ssen for a while and finally had the chance to try it. I ordered the stone pot bibimbap set and it was delicious and piping hot. It also came with a wakame seaweed soup similar to Chinese soup. I was a bit disappointed that there weren't many menu options to choose from.

This is a bubbling hot chige hot pot. It has a nice level of spiciness and a strong umami flavor. It's not incredibly delicious, but the convenience of being able to enjoy a hot and spicy hot pot is a big plus. The time from ordering to completion is slightly long. The set comes with rice, but there are no pickles or other side dishes, just a simple set. Thank you for the meal.

This time's additional note. Reused at the end of August. "Still not satisfying" edition. At Ariake Garden, there was an event until the end of August where you could receive a free invitation ticket to the "Sentei no Yu" inside the building by collecting stamps. I did not participate in the event, but I received some event menus. The menu that caught my eye was the Yan Nyom Chicken and draft beer or highball set for 814 yen. I had completely forgotten about the "unsatisfactory" feeling I had when I used this place last time. As a result, I still felt somewhat unsatisfied. The way the chicken was fried was like a meatball, tightly rolled and the coating was not crispy but rather hard. The sauce was also like a plain sweet vinegar sauce that you would put on regular meatballs, not simmered and richly flavored. I was expecting a gochujang-like taste instead of this ketchup-like one, so I was a bit disappointed. I somehow lost the desire to visit the store at Lalaport. Below is my first visit in mid-July. "Somewhat unsatisfactory" edition. I thought I had seen this store name somewhere, and then realized it is also in Lalaport Toyosu nearby. Unlike the other one, this "Hanbije" is a food court store. It is more casual to use this one alone. It said it was the grand opening, so maybe it's limited time. There was a set menu that changes by day of the week. It was Monday, so I had the stone bibimbap and half-size naengmyeon set for 980 yen. Although it has been 10 months since the consumption tax rate changed to 10%, I still can't get used to the gap between the pre-tax price and the after-tax price. I don't like it when the price increases by one digit (laughs). It took a bit of time to cook the bibimbap, so the waiting time was just under 10 minutes. I was given a buzzer and waited by reading a book at my seat. When I went to pick it up, I was advised to use vinegar according to my taste for the naengmyeon. It's not uncouth to put vinegar on a dish you haven't tasted yet. I got a small plate and put vinegar in it, then returned to my seat. Both the bibimbap and naengmyeon were elegant, with mild seasoning. I used up all the vinegar in the small plate. I always ask for a tube of gochujang during the meal service on Korean Air or Asiana Airlines, so I found the seasoning here a bit unsatisfactory. Also, the bowls for both the bibimbap and naengmyeon in the half-size set were about the size of a rice bowl, so if you're hungry, the quantity may not be enough. The chijimi that came with the set was very tasty. I will try the dining hall at Lalaport soon. This was a good opportunity to try it out. The store has nationwide locations from Hokkaido to Fukuoka, with 11 stores in Tokyo. The background music in the facility is a cover of Roberta Flack's "Killing Me Softly with His Song".

The tofu at Ariake Garden is mild in spiciness, and they offer a daily lunch set with options like chijimi. The name of the restaurant is hard to read, but the stone pot bibimbap looks delicious with rice included. The price is reasonable, so overall it's not bad, right?

A Korean restaurant that opened in the food court of the shopping center in Ariake, Koto-ku. I felt reassured by the name I saw in the department store, and decided to have lunch. They had a seasonal cold noodles dish, which was a nice change from the usual hot stone pot dishes. The sign for the cold noodles fair seemed to be promoting a set menu, but I opted for the single dish priced at 825 yen. I paid with cashless payment, received a buzzer and a receipt, and sat at a counter seat near a full table in the food court to wait. After about 8 minutes, my order was ready. I received my cold noodles and a mini side of kimchi on a tray, along with disposable chopsticks. I added vinegar to the noodles and returned to my seat. The cold noodles were very fine and had a nice chewy texture. The clear Korean-style soup was also enjoyable. After finishing my meal, I returned the tray and completed my lunch in 14 minutes.

The portion size is small, the stone pot is burnt, a bit pricey. Wanted to try the bibimbap and cold noodles, but didn't feel satisfied with this place. Maybe need to go for the meat dishes or just stick to the cold noodles. No need for ice, it's too cold.

I had cold noodles. The flavor was light, and there was a lot of ice that melted, making it quite bland halfway through.
