Obcobe Bakery offers sweets that are not only delicious but also good for the environment and your body. Their cookies are very popular, but their brownies are also really tasty! You can choose from whipped cream flavors like raspberry, mint, and plain, all of which are delicious. Among the Harajuku gourmet scene, this is my highly recommended snack. The variety of cookies they offer is also exciting!

I visited around 7:15 PM on a regular day. I accidentally came on the last day of the sale, but there was only one group of customers before me, so it was empty! The restaurant is compact with only 3 tables and 2 seats at the counter, and there is also a terrace seat. They have both Laforet's WiFi and their own WiFi. Even though it's a small shop, they give you a pager after ordering at the counter. I ordered the Brownie & Whip for 662 yen, and chose raspberry whip. I also had an Iced Earl Grey Tea for 450 yen. The brownie was delicious with a good chocolate taste and satisfying texture. The pink whip didn't have much raspberry flavor, maybe it's soy whip? It was tasty and not too beany. The two groups that came after me were young Westerners. In Europe and America, free-from sweets and plant-based options are already part of everyday life. Having choices is important.

I have been interested in this restaurant because all the ingredients are plant-based and vegan, and it is the first food and beverage company in Japan to obtain B Corp certification (an international certification for companies that consider social and environmental impact). The interior of the restaurant is small, but the staff are very friendly. The soy latte was delicious, even better than Starbucks. I ordered a menu with ice cream on top of a cookie. I was amazed at how delicious plant-based ice cream and cookies can be. I understand the higher prices due to the quality of ingredients. However, the cookie was too hard, so I had to forcefully stab it with a fork, causing it to crumble. It was a bit disappointing, but I'm not sure if it was just that particular cookie. I hope they can improve on that aspect.

This shop is famous for its cookies, but I personally think their banana bread is the most delicious in the world. It has a slightly crispy outer layer, a moist inside, and a subtle caramel-like flavor that is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend it to the point where you won't be able to eat banana bread from other shops anymore.

This vegan-friendly dessert uses soy milk whip, so it's dairy-free. Their cookies are famous, but their scones are also moist and lightly sweet, especially when paired with the strawberry jam on top. The glass-walled, sunny interior and terrace seating with a view of the Meiji-Jingu intersection create a great atmosphere.

Vegan sweets specialty store! From 3/24 to 3/31, they are holding a collaboration cafe with the Korean cosmetics brand "BEIGIC." The original sweets with bear cookies on top are cute. The vegan sweets are satisfying and delicious. Ordered items: Bear cookie for 690 yen, Grapefruit aide for 700 yen. The atmosphere inside the store and on the terrace is nice, but on rainy days, part of the terrace may not be available, so it could get crowded. The sweets are made with a focus on ingredients, using rice oil, soy milk, and organic or domestic ingredients as much as possible. The store was always full before 4 pm on holidays. Store information: Address: 1-11-6 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, Laforet Harajuku 2F. Business hours: 11:00-20:00. Access: 1 minute walk from Meiji-jingumae Station, 5 minutes walk from Harajuku Station, 8 minutes walk from Omotesando Station.

The cookie and soy latte I had were delicious, but the shop was very small and cramped with 5 staff members. It looks like they are having fun working there. I want to visit the main store in Nihonbashi soon. However, one cookie for 400 yen is quite expensive, but I still bought it while thinking about it.笑

Located a 7-minute walk from Harajuku Station, this shop in Laforet offers "Ginger Sesame Oatmeal Cookies" for takeout. The ginger adds a nice touch and they were very delicious. I would like to try enjoying them slowly inside the store next time.

This is a sister store of Obgu Baker located in Kodenmacho. The Harajuku store has a cute, pop interior that is different from the Kodenmacho store.
- COOKIE SUNDAE ¥990
- BANANA BREAD SANDWICH ¥968
- whipped cream soda ¥711
- Lemonade soda ¥561
The Cookie Sundae allows you to choose the type of cookie and ice cream. I chose chocolate chip cookie and chocolate ice cream. The cookie was chewy like a chunk cookie with a junky sweetness.
The Banana Bread Sandwich consists of warm banana bread with cool coconut vanilla ice cream in between. The banana bread is quite heavy, so it's recommended to share due to its volume.
Both are super cute, but with an American sweetness that was too strong for me.

"Earl Grey Tea" for 462 yen
Location & Atmosphere & Menu:
Located 4 minutes east of Harajuku Station or 1 minute north of Meiji-jingumae Station, on the 2nd floor of Laforet Harajuku is the cafe "ovgoBAKER". You can enjoy cute and trendy sweets in a stylish space. "ovgo" also has a store in Kodenmacho, offering popular pastries made with carefully selected ingredients that are conscious of the earth and the environment. The name of the store is filled with thoughts - O for Organic, V for Vegan, G for Gluten-free, and O for Options.
The interior has limited seating, so reservations are recommended. There are 3 sets of 2-person tables, sofa seats, and terrace seating. Terrace seating is weather-dependent, so it might be better to visit on a sunny day to avoid waiting. You can choose cookies and ice cream, and I ordered a coconut cookie and soy latte ice cream. The cookies are also available for takeout, so feel free to choose from the wide variety available.
I also shared the limited edition "Banana Split".
Food Review:
Starting with the shiny soy latte ice cream, it melts smoothly with a refreshing soy milk aroma, followed by the coffee aroma. For those who like the soy milk flavor, I highly recommend trying it. The American-style cookies are crunchy yet chewy, with just the right texture and sweetness. It was a pleasant surprise as I expected them to be overly sweet. It's amazing how they have recreated this texture in a vegan version. The Earl Grey tea was a bit strong, but it paired well with the cookies. I enjoyed each bite of the vegan-friendly Cookies Sunday.

★I arrived around 2 pm on a weekend afternoon★I waited a bit in front of the checkout counter★I got two vegan cookies★The taste was normal, not different from non-vegan cookies, and I found them delicious. However, the coconut one had a slightly spicy smell which I didn't quite like★The service was average, the staff seemed new and had to ask a colleague for help with the checkout, which took a bit of time★The cleanliness was good, the display area where the products were arranged looked clean★The atmosphere was nice, with stylish seating inside★For those with allergies, this place is great as they have many vegan options suitable for people with dairy or egg allergies★In terms of value for money, a large cookie cost around 500 yen, which is a bit expensive for me, so I might not be able to buy frequently★I would consider going back on a whim, so I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars!!!

A multi-ethnic cafe has opened in Omotesando, with American-style vegan dishes with a Korean twist! I tried the Brownie with Mint Whip (around 800 yen) and Mint Soda (around 500 yen). The brownie was just a regular brownie with mint cream, so the chocolate mint flavor felt a bit forced. I might have skipped it usually, but I went because the cookies were delicious! However, I couldn't really taste the mint in the cream, it was kind of a strange flavor. The brownie was tasty though! The Mint Soda had a lemon-like taste, with no mint flavor. It was surprisingly popular! It seems they have a reservation system, but I was able to get in without a reservation!

The decor of the restaurant was colorful and cute, perfect for Instagram photos! However, the taste of the food was mediocre despite being a bit pricey. We sat on the terrace, but the chairs were uncomfortable and the tables were dirty. It would have been better if they cleaned up more. Overall, I don't think I would come back. It's more of a place for Instagram photos rather than a dining experience.

ovgo B.A.K.E.R., known for their vegan cookies, opened a new store on the 2nd floor of Laforet Harajuku on March 1, 2022, following their store in Kocho-machi. I visited with my online salon friends after receiving a free drink ticket. Currently, reservations are only accepted in-store. ovgo's cookies are incredibly delicious regardless of being vegan, and I have been getting them from their online shop and pop-up stores for a while now. This time, they had a variety of special food and drink menus exclusive to Laforet Harajuku. I ordered the BANANA SPIRIT (limited to 20 servings per day) and a raspberry soda. There were some input errors in the pricing and they forgot to put the banana on my order, so I had to communicate with the staff quite a bit. Despite the store being newly opened and crowded, the staff handled the situation well, and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. In fact, I was grateful that they prepared a new order for me even though I had unknowingly overpaid and eaten the banana-less dish. The portions were huge, and my friends who ordered the banana bread sandwich couldn't finish it. We ended up staying on the terrace for 2 hours, engrossed in conversation, without being interrupted by the staff. The clientele was mostly young girls, and the place is perfect for Instagram-worthy photos.

The restaurant "Obgobaker" opened on March 1, 2022, just a 3-minute walk from Harajuku Station in Shibuya, Tokyo. It is a vegan sweets specialty shop, the third branch after Kodenmacho and Karuizawa in Harajuku. The shop has 4 tables inside and 2 on the terrace, but it quickly fills up. However, there is a shared eating space on the floor, so you can eat there as well. Seats are on a 1-hour limit, and reservations are only accepted at the time of arrival. You cannot make reservations by phone or online. So if you go and it's full, you can make a reservation for a return visit or use the shared space. The menu mainly consists of all-vegan cookies, cakes, and ice cream. This time, I tried the banana bread sandwich, which was so delicious that even non-vegans would be satisfied with the taste that you wouldn't think it's not made with animal products! You can also take out baked goods, making it a great option for gifts or souvenirs. Check out the latest information on vegan cafes on Macrobi Mouse's Instagram.

Laforet's location is perfect for young people, with a great atmosphere and friendly staff at the main store. The taste is the same, but the main store, which does not have a one-drink policy, has a better overall vibe.
