This is a restaurant located in the restaurant area of Yodobashi AKIBA. I visited during lunchtime. I had eaten at their Harajuku location before and enjoyed it, so I decided to try it here. I ordered the beef sirloin cutlet set. It came with four sauces: dashi soy sauce, sansho salt, tonkatsu sauce, and curry sauce. Personally, I liked it with plenty of wasabi and dashi soy sauce. The sansho salt didn't have much of a sansho aroma, which was disappointing. The most disappointing part was that the cutlet was overcooked. When I had it at the Harajuku location, it was rare and tender, just like the photo on the menu, but this time it was slightly rare in the center and completely overcooked everywhere else, making it dry. The meat had shrunk, causing the breading to come off easily. They even offered to cook it more on a hot plate, but it was completely unnecessary. Looking at other people's photos, it seems like a rare cutlet would have been delicious, so maybe I just got unlucky this time. It was a disappointing lunch experience.

After a long time, I visited a restaurant known for its beef cutlets. The limited menu for June was eel beef cutlet, so I decided to try it. The eel cutlet was unexpectedly fluffy and had a crispy coating, retaining the eel's flavor. The beef cutlet was also delicious as always.

Once you decide on something, there's no turning back. That night, my taste buds were set on nothing but beef cutlets. On my way back, I headed to Katsugyu in Yodobashi Akiba. Oh my... it was delicious. It's a luxury. The way it's fried to a perfect medium rare and then served. You can adjust the heat to your liking at your table. The beef cutlets can be enjoyed with wasabi soy sauce, sansho salt, sesame cutlet sauce, grated ponzu, Kyoto-style curry, and many other flavors. Before I knew it, I was down to my last beef cutlet... which I'm sure happens often. It had been a while since I last had it, but it was so delicious. I definitely need to eat it more regularly. It was past 8 pm when I left, and there was a waiting line. Katsugyu was the only restaurant on that floor. There were also many inbound customers. I felt like eating beef cutlet after a long time, so I decided to go try it. I always think that the curry sauce here doesn't necessarily have to come as a set. Due to the recent avian influenza, they seem to have changed the topping from egg to something else. I didn't ask, so I'm not sure. In addition to the photo, there was a hot plate for customers to cook their own meat, but I didn't need to use it because the meat was already cooked perfectly. Also, I encountered a fatal flaw in the set meal - the rice was not tasty at all. They must have used really old rice or maybe they got the water ratio wrong. The menu costs over 1600 yen including tax, so I probably won't be going back again.

A beef cutlet restaurant in the Yodobashi restaurant area in Akihabara. When it comes to beef cutlets, the appeal lies in taking advantage of the characteristics of beef and grilling the cutlet to your desired temperature on a table-top grill, which is why it is disappointing when it is overcooked from the start. The service from the staff was attentive and pleasant, but using curry sauce makes it hard to tell if it is beef or pork, so I think this should be an optional choice.

I ordered a set meal with seasonal limited cold yellowtail cutlet at the restaurant area of Yodobashi Camera Akihabara store. It was great to enjoy both the cutlet and the fish. The beef was delicious with salt, wasabi, and sauce. The store is long and narrow with slightly cramped seating.

Visited "Katsugyu" located inside Yodobashi directly connected to Akihabara Station! Sometimes you just crave it, right? Tender thinly breaded beef cutlet, red miso soup, white rice, finely shredded cabbage!! Enjoying the variety of flavors with dashi soy sauce, sansho pepper salt, sauce, it's irresistibly delicious! (I like dipping the cabbage in curry sauce) A satisfying lunch as always!! Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by on my way home from work. The seats were full. It's a style where you grill your own food. I've been to the Shinjuku branch before, but it seems like the menu is different at this location. Today, I had the beef sirloin cutlet set. Even the regular portion is quite generous. There are three types of sauces. I like eating it with wasabi and dashi soy sauce. If you add the restaurant as a friend on LINE, you can have unlimited refills of red miso soup, cabbage, and rice. The cabbage is easy to eat and delicious because it comes with dressing. They also have Kyoto curry dipping sauce, so you can enjoy that too. There are counter seats as well, so it's great for dining alone.

On this day, I had a weekday lunch at a beef cutlet restaurant in the restaurant area of Yodobashi AKIBA. I navigated through the narrow, almost no flow interior and sat at the counter seat at the far right. I picked up the neatly arranged menu book. Each time I turned the page, the prices seemed to magically increase, making me hesitant (^_^;). I ordered the "Beef loin cutlet set / Regular / 1,749 yen". I waited while looking around the restaurant, which was crowded with foreign tourists. When the tray arrived, it contained 9 pieces of beef cutlet, rice, and miso soup. The condiments included two types of dipping sauce, wasabi, and original sauce. It didn't come with pickles, though. The grilling plate was placed on the left side for cooking. The beef, mostly lean, was tender and easy to eat. I tried each condiment with each piece, and found that dipping in the light soy sauce with wasabi was the most delicious. The portion size was very small overall. I refrained from getting free refills of rice, miso soup, and cabbage because you had to register for LINE. Considering the price, I wish they had allowed more freedom for refills. In that sense, the satisfaction level may not be the best. The downside was the expressionless, lifeless service and the uncomfortable atmosphere in the restaurant. The counter seat I sat at was right next to the cash register, and it was very unpleasant to hear the noisy sounds every time someone paid. It's a shame because the beef cutlet itself was delicious.

Anyway, I went to Katsugyu to try their eel cutlet, which was rumored to be delicious. As I was alone, I sat at the counter where there was a spot. I chose the combo of beef sirloin cutlet and eel cutlet set. Oh, this set comes with beer, that's a good deal! Of course, I'll go for that! The price written in big letters was excluding tax. With the beer set, it was 2,200 yen. Well, I worked hard that day, so I'll treat myself. After ordering, the beer arrived promptly. It seemed to be a black label. The crisp foam was a good impression. I enjoyed it while waiting for the main dishes. The eel cutlet was the first to arrive. Wow, the eel cutlet was delicious! The crispy thin coating wrapped around the plump eel kabayaki. The soft fatty meat with the kabayaki sauce and the aroma of sansho pepper. I was impressed by this unique twist on how to enjoy eel. I'll definitely try this at home as a snack or rice accompaniment. The sirloin, the other main dish, was reliably delicious as always. However, the eel's impact was so strong this time that the sirloin's presence was overshadowed. With the offer of free rice, miso soup, and cabbage refill for LINE friends, I quickly registered and got a rice refill. My stomach was full. The eel cutlet was more interesting than I expected. Is this menu a summer staple at Katsugyu? If so, it will be something to look forward to every summer. Maybe it's good to keep it as a once-a-year treat to keep it fresh in my mind.

Today is the midsummer day of the Ox. I visited Kyoto Katsugyu located in Yodobashi in Akihabara. I ordered the summer limited edition dish, Unagi Gyukatsu. Unagi and beef cutlet...?! You must be thinking, is it really delicious? This has created a whole new genre because it is so delicious. The outside is crispy, the inside is tender, and the shiso leaf adds a nice touch. It goes well with either sansho pepper or wasabi. It is a perfect match. Although it is reservation only, this time I got the whole Unagi Gyukatsu and the ultimate luxury Unagi Gyukatsu set to go. It is a generous portion and full of good luck, perfect for high school baseball players in the midst of the preliminaries.

First time trying beef cutlet!! There was a beef cutlet shop inside Yodobashi Camera. The interior is not very spacious. The customer service felt a bit rushed and not particularly good. It was delicious, but I might prefer pork cutlet if I had to choose haha this is just my personal preference. My son seemed to like it and finished it quickly. He even wanted to get more meat, but I stopped him. They offer various cuts of beef cutlet that you can add on, although we didn't order any this time.

I had some business in Tokyo and stayed at a nearby hotel. I didn't feel like going to an izakaya, so I came to the restaurant area at Yodobashi. Most of the shops had closed early, but this one was open late so I decided to eat here. I ordered the "Sirloin and Thick Cut Beef Tongue Cutlet (2,024 yen)" from the assorted menu. The sirloin was delicious, but the beef tongue was quite tough, which was disappointing. Other shops included a hot stone with the meal, but this one didn't serve it unless requested. I think regular salt is better than the sansho salt. I don't think I will be coming back to eat here again.

I went all out and ordered the "Beef Cutlet Deluxe Set" where you can enjoy four types of beef cutlets: rib roast, loin, fillet, and tongue. You can also enjoy various seasonings! It's a luxurious set priced at around 3,000 yen! But let me tell you, it's worth every penny, you won't regret it! Try it at least once! The location is convenient, being close to the station and near Yodobashi. The one I ordered this time was the anago katsu set meal, which includes both beef katsu and anago katsu, along with curry sauce for added flavor variety. The anago katsu was crispy and delicious, especially when eaten with grated ponzu sauce, sansho pepper salt, and curry sauce, in that order. The beef katsu was also tasty! I think the anago katsu is a limited-time offer, but I wouldn't mind revisiting when they introduce their next special item.

Arrived at Yodobashi at 7:00 pm under the state of emergency declaration. About half of the restaurants on Yodobashi's restaurant floor have their last order at 7:00 pm, with some displaying the closing plate, but this place has the last order at 7:30 pm. Phew, made it! The restaurant has counter seats and table seats, with a cozy atmosphere. The menu features a balance of fatty and lean beef cutlet, and a lean beef cutlet for enjoying the umami of lean meat. This time, I ordered the popular white, beef rib loin cutlet set. It was served promptly within 5 minutes. The staff explained in detail how to enjoy and cook the beef cutlet, even lighting the iron plate for us. While the beef cutlet is delicious on its own, it's even better when cooked on the iron plate. I grilled each piece one by one, enjoying the sizzling sound. There are 4 types of sauces provided, so you won't get bored. I personally liked the refreshing wasabi soy sauce and sansho pepper salt. There's also beef cutlet sauce and Kyoto curry dipping sauce. Just like a typical tonkatsu set, it comes with red miso soup and cabbage. If you become friends with the restaurant's LINE account, you can get free refills of rice, red miso soup, and cabbage. The portion is just right for women. Since I've become LINE friends, I might try the beef loin cutlet set next time.

On my way back from work, I went to the Yodobashi Camera store on the 8th floor in Akihabara. I was really in the mood for beef cutlet, so I decided to come here. My first thought upon entering the store was, "It's small!" Well, I guess it can't be helped considering the rent. I ordered a beer and a highball to start, along with some cabbage as an appetizer. For the main dish, I ordered the Beef Cutlet Deluxe Set, which came with tongue, fillet, loin, and rib roast. I was so excited. And then it arrived. I have a lot of thoughts about it, but please understand my feelings by looking at the photo. Anyway, it was a delicious meal.
