I went to a Mexican restaurant in Ebisu with my friend! Zona Rosa is a long-established Mexican restaurant in Ebisu that has been around for 20 years! It is located just outside the east exit of Ebisu station, in the basement of a building where Red Pepper and Daruma-san Ichome are located. The entrance is glass-fronted with a large crystal object as a landmark. When you go down the stairs, there is an arch to pass through leading to a single-floor interior. The space is stylishly decorated with paintings on the walls, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Since we made a reservation for 6:00 pm when the restaurant opened, we were the only customers at that time, so we were able to take our time and take photos. There were many female customers, and they seemed to enjoy wearing Mexican hats and having a lively time. The drinks and food selection is extensive! The amount of drinks is impressive, with a wide variety of tequila available. The staff were very helpful and recommended dishes such as mixed tacos, avocado tartare, roasted lamb, and nachos, all of which were delicious with rich flavors. We also ordered the shrimp fajitas, which were flambéed with tequila, creating a big impact. I thought they only had snacks for alcohol, but you can actually have a proper meal here! There were many other dishes that caught my eye, but I was already full! I want to come back again to try more dishes. The atmosphere inside the restaurant and the staff's service were excellent. I love Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine, and I visit various places, but this is my favorite spot. Although Hacienda in Daikanyama is stylish and lovely, I find the food here to be much more delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal! I will definitely visit again. In May 2016, I had some errands in Ebisu and decided to have a casual drink. I had been here before, and decided to revisit Zona Rosa. This time, I wasn't very hungry, so I just ordered a recommended dish, which was light and perfect for a casual drink. The prices were reasonable, and depending on the day, you can enjoy a leisurely drink. It was good when I came before, and this time was also enjoyable. Apparently, this restaurant was featured in a TV drama, so I will have to watch it next time. I will definitely drop by again. Thank you for the meal!

On a Friday night after 7 pm, we had a reservation and were seated right by the entrance. It was a different kind of gathering compared to a girls' night out, with more of a lively atmosphere. The crowd seemed to be mostly made up of groups of colleagues, male friends, and couples, rather than just women. The restaurant had a wide variety of tequila options and tequila cocktails, which was probably due to its Mexican theme. I was a bit indecisive, but considering the late hour and the need to think about getting home, I opted for a couple of highballs and glasses of wine. The food portions were just right, and we enjoyed ourselves for almost 4 hours, with the bill coming to around 6000 yen. It was refreshing to find a reasonably priced Mexican restaurant in Ebisu on a Friday night.

I visited a ladies' course with all-you-can-drink for a friend's birthday. We enjoyed six dishes including salad, appetizers, and fried shrimp tacos, as well as dessert. Ethnic cuisine is always delicious on hot days! Overall, the food was very tasty and everything was great! Since it was my friend's birthday, they made a birthday plate for her. She was very happy. Thank you very much. Thank you for the meal! (^▽^)/

I would appreciate it if you could like, save, or follow me for encouragement :) [Overall] - Mexican restaurant in Ebisu - Went around 12pm on a weekday and didn't have to wait - Reservations available through Tabelog or Hot Pepper - Credit card and PayPay accepted [Dishes] - Enchiladas for 1000 yen - Comes with soup, salad, and fried potatoes - A Mexican-style chili gratin with ingredients wrapped in tortillas, topped with fresh tomatoes and cream cheese - Two types of fillings (ground meat and tuna?) - A rich and satisfying flavor that goes well with alcohol, with the spiciness of green chili peppers and the accents of cream cheese and tomatoes keeping it interesting until the last bite. I also have an Instagram account, so feel free to take a look: https://www.instagram.com/sss_03gourmet/

Last night, I had a Mexican-themed dinner with friends at this place after a long time. It was a 2-hour and 30-minute all-you-can-drink course. We had Mexican salad, seafood and avocado tartare, nachos, shrimp and mushroom chili, garlic oil lime sorbet, grilled beef loin with adobo sauce, and more. There are reportedly 100 types of drinks available. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great, and the staff were very attentive. It was a really good restaurant experience.

The atmosphere was very fun and typical of Mexico, with lively customers. I ordered ceviche and chicken tortilla, which were both delicious. The presentation, such as flambeeing the dishes, was also great. The staff was friendly, and I liked the drink containers.

We used this restaurant for a company welcome party. They were very flexible and accommodating, which was greatly appreciated as the organizer. Thank you very much. The food was delicious and had a good amount, which was well-received by both men and women. A female staff member took a photo for us, but there was no warning before taking it, so the photo didn't turn out great. However, the manager quickly took another photo for us, which was a great help. Thank you for your thoughtful service.

There was a wide variety of alcohol available at this place! I love the jalapeno cheese fritters, but unfortunately they were sold out when I arrived today. I wonder if they didn't restock them today, haha. I settled for a different jalapeno dish, but I really wanted the cheese fritters. I hope Mexican food lovers can relate to this, haha. However, all the other dishes were delicious, so I ended up being very satisfied with my meal!

Had lunch at ZONA ROSA. I entered as soon as they opened. The interior is cute. The plates are colorful and nice. It's Mexican cuisine, but the prices are surprisingly reasonable. You can have unlimited refills of salad and soup! Tacos come with beef tongue and roast beef, and it's only 900 yen. Is that okay? It's cheap, but it's not small portions. It was delicious. If it were closer, I would definitely become a regular. I want to go again.

When it comes to Mexico, you think of tequila! There are various types of tequila to choose from, similar to whiskey. You can compare different types while enjoying them, but be careful as they are very strong. It cost around 15,000 yen for two people. The tequila flambé steak is a must-try and truly impressive.

I ordered Jambalaya for lunch (1000 yen). Before the main dish arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the salad and cold potage. Then, the Jambalaya arrived. The piping hot Jambalaya on the iron plate looked great from the start. Two shrimp were proudly perched on top, and the lime color added to the presentation. The spiced rice was fluffy and easy to eat, and it paired well with the two types of bell peppers. Adding a bit of sour cream gave it a different flavor. The cilantro on top added a nice touch. The shrimp were easy to eat as the heads and shells were removed. I also tried the spicy sauce on the table, which added a nice kick. It was also nice that you could add a drink for just 100 yen during lunch. The Jambalaya was hot and satisfying, definitely recommended. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I didn't drink. I went at 8 o'clock, but the restaurant was full. I don't often go to eat Mexican food, but all the dishes were delicious. The shrimp ajillo-like dish was delicious, with a strong flavor that I liked. Thank you for the meal.

A cute shop with a Mexican atmosphere. The wall paintings are Instagram-worthy and appealing to women. All the dishes we tried were delicious. The seafood was especially fresh and tasty. They seem to also offer lunch, so I would like to come back for lunch next time.

Seafood grilled tacos with salad? Beef tongue wraps with cheese roast beef? For dessert, we had a fresh tomato and guacamole which was very refreshing! It was all-you-can-drink, and there were so many options to choose from... I should have tried more variety! Thank you for the delicious meal.

The Mexican food was a big hit and the cost performance was great! What we ordered: Mexican salad, enchiladas (spicy chicken), freshly fried chips with 3 dips (avocado, sour cream, chili con carne). The dips were delicious and we were impressed! The chips were crispy with a good bite, maybe a bit oily. We had 2 drinks each and it cost us 2500 yen! Very affordable! It was a bit cold sitting near the entrance, which was a shame.

Visited for lunch. Ordered Enchiladas. Comes with salad and soup, both are free refills. Salad is dressed with Island dressing. Soup is Chinese style. Enchiladas are made with two types of tortillas, cheese, and chili sauce baked in the oven. Topped with sour cream, tomatoes, and jalapenos. One filling is chili con carne, just the right level of spiciness. The other is shredded chili chicken, not very spicy but satisfying to eat. The taste is delicious. Comes with a side of potatoes, simple fried potatoes with good volume and texture. A great place to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. They also have organic tequila available, seems like a fun spot for dinner as well. Thank you for the meal.

When you go down to the underground of the Mexican restaurant near the station for lunch, you will find a stylish Mexican space. The walls have a traditional clay-like feel, giving you a little travel vibe. There are 100 types of tequila, with various ways to drink it! I won't drink today because it's lunch, but I want to go at night next time. This time, I ordered Mexican-style Jambalaya. Jambalaya is a kind of mixed rice dish originating from paella and is a Cajun cuisine, a regional dish from Virginia in the southern United States. It contains shrimp, bell peppers, chicken, and lime, with just the right amount of spice. I thought the taste was a bit light at first, but as I ate it, it became just right. The cream cheese as an accent is really good. It goes well with the spices.

I went to the restaurant with a rating of 3.5 on Tabelog, looking forward to it. The place was crowded, the service was not bad, but the food was disappointing. My friend and I, being two women, only ordered three dishes. The quesadilla that came out first was cold and felt like a sandwich with tortillas and fillings sandwiched in between. It should have been baked. Moreover, the filling inside was strange, like, what is this taco sauce? We also ordered fajitas, looking forward to it, but to our surprise, they brought it out and set it on fire and frappé it for some reason. I didn't understand why they frappéd it. The fajita meat was just grilled chicken, not marinated as it should be. There was no guacamole or any sides, just avocado on the side, and the tomato salad was just tomatoes. To make matters worse, the chili sauce was completely different. It was a disappointment. After thinking calmly, I realized that it was a lovely restaurant where only Japanese people who don't know Mexican food go to experience the atmosphere. It might be good for experiencing the atmosphere of a nice restaurant, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has had Mexican food before. I learned that you shouldn't trust Tabelog ratings.

I made a reservation and visited on a Saturday night. The restaurant was almost full. The 5500 yen all-you-can-drink course was great for someone like me who has a husband who drinks a lot. There were many options besides beer and wine, such as cocktails. We started with a salad, followed by ceviche and shrimp in oil. The seafood was unexpectedly delicious. The beef tongue tacos, grilled beef, and other dishes were tasty and satisfying. My only wish is that the wine in the all-you-can-drink option was a bit better quality, as it tasted quite watery.
