A reasonably priced izakaya that serves delicious fish is located directly connected to Akihabara's Atre. I had a bit of doubt because Atre is known for its fancy and expensive bars, but I decided to visit half-believing. On a Friday night, when I got off the elevator, I was greeted by a huge bustling space filled with customers. Wow! It's really popular here. I'm glad I made a reservation. The energetic voices coming from the kitchen and the waitresses in traditional Japanese attire bustling around with various delicious-looking fish made me excited. The aroma of charcoal wafting through the air also whetted my appetite. First, I was surprised by the appetizer. They brought out fresh sandfish, and then they seared it right in front of us. I've never seen such a luxurious appetizer before. The crispy seared sandfish is bound to be delicious! Then they brought out the recommended fresh fish of the day. They mentioned that they receive the fish directly from the source without going through the market, ensuring that we get fresh fish. The quality of the fish here is unbelievable for an izakaya. I asked for the recommended Buri (yellowtail) from Tateyama to be seared and served as sashimi. It was so sweet that I didn't even need soy sauce, just freshly grated wasabi. I asked for a small portion of sashimi platter because I wanted to try a variety of fish. The Meji, Hamachi, Sawara, Mizutako, and Maguro were so fresh! I hope the freshness comes through in the pictures. The abundance of vegetables served with miso made from the fish's flesh is a delight. The miso is so delicious that I want to pour it over rice! And what turned out to be a great decision was the shellfish hot pot, which was cooked with various types of shellfish in a pot that looked like something fishermen would use by the seaside. The simmered shellfish were so plump and delicious. The hot pot had so much broth that we decided to add ramen noodles and turn it into a seafood ramen. The staff came over to help remove the shellfish and add the ramen, making it a perfect dish! As a housewife who doesn't want to do anything, I really appreciated it. The sake was delicious, the desserts were amazing, and there's so much more I want to write about, but I just want to say, please go visit this restaurant! It's a great place where you can enjoy top-quality fish prepared in various ways, with lively and warm service, all at a reasonable price. On a side note, even though it's an izakaya, the restroom was elegant and luxurious. They even had mouthwash available, which is a nice touch for us ladies.

It was my first time at this restaurant, but I was satisfied with the food, service, and cost performance. The sashimi platter recommended by the restaurant was delicious, with a variety of fish that were all tasty. I also ordered fried oysters, deep-fried eggplant, and grilled pork belly, and all of them had strong and well-thought-out flavors. The most surprising thing today was the small bottle that came as a complimentary dish. When you open the lid and pour it into a bowl, it contained various ingredients besides mozuku seaweed, which was a fun surprise. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

It is an izakaya where you can enjoy fresh sashimi and oysters. I visited on a Tuesday night and there were plenty of seats available. The menu offers a variety of seafood dishes to go with drinks. It had been a while since my last visit and it felt like the menu had gotten smaller compared to before. Maybe they just changed the layout of the menu? The cover charge was 490 yen. Is this the standard cover charge for izakayas nowadays? It is a chain izakaya, but the food is consistently good so I find it reliable. (I don't drink alcohol, so I ordered soft drinks and non-alcoholic beer)

Akihabara Station is about a 1-minute walk from the Showa-dori exit. It's located on the 3rd floor of Atre. It's great to be so close to the station. I used it for a welcome party for my company. It's a chain with about 10 stores in the center of Tokyo. It can accommodate about 30 people and I chose it because it's close to the station. The interior is spacious and can hold about 100 people. This time, we ordered a course with all-you-can-drink for 4,500 yen. The 30-person seats were a bit narrow because there were two rows of sunken kotatsu tables. We started around 6:30 pm, but it seemed like there were a lot of groups, so the drinks and food were a bit slow at first, but once they started serving, it came out quickly. The main dishes included assorted sashimi, deep-fried white fish, grilled shrimp and buri, and hot tofu, with many seafood dishes as they boast about their fishing grounds. The sashimi was fresh and the other dishes were delicious. There were a lot of young people, so the amount of food was a bit small. Next time, I won't be stingy (lol). It's nice to drink beer from a pitcher after a long time. Payment can be made with QR code. It was fun to have a large group drinking party after a long time. It's a hassle that you have to order from your smartphone by scanning the QR code, not with a touch panel. I was quite drunk, so there are parts that I don't remember well, but the food left a good impression, and it was well received by others, so I want to enjoy it leisurely next time. Located on the upper floor, just a minute's walk from Akihabara Station, I visited this restaurant around 8:30 pm on a Sunday. The place was about half full and quite crowded. The seating area was spacious but with a low ceiling, which made the sound echo a bit. I was feeling a bit peckish, so I ordered some appetizer-like dishes such as sashimi and rolled omelette with dashi broth. The restaurant had a wide variety of alcohol options, emphasizing its izakaya concept. The sashimi was delicious and satisfying in terms of quality, quantity, and variety for its price. However, other appetizers like the rolled omelette and burdock root namul were not only small in portion but also tasted simple and somewhat cheap. The menu was quite limited, especially in terms of grilled fish options. Overall, I felt that this place is better suited for a second stop to enjoy drinks and appetizers rather than a full meal.

It was the serious course with standard all-you-can-drink. Since it was Wednesday, it wasn't crowded, and we were able to extend the all-you-can-drink (30 minutes for 500 yen)! So happy! You can order by scanning the QR code for the all-you-can-drink, so it's easy not having to call the staff. It's great for drinking parties as it's just a short walk from the JR ticket gate to the elevator on the 3rd floor, too close to the station.

This is my first visit to a seafood izakaya located in Atre Akihabara. Atre Akihabara is directly connected to JR Akihabara Station. I had the Fisherman's Pickled Bowl (1,000 yen). The meal consisted of a pickled bowl, seaweed soup, pickles, and vinegar miso. The pickled bowl had a variety of seafood pickles on top, along with a large amount of green onions and egg yolk covering half of the bowl. The rice was topped with chopped seaweed. A spoon was provided for easy eating. Although there was a lot of green onions which slightly threw off the balance, the bowl was easy to eat with a mild saltiness. Other options included grilled fish set meals and jumbo horse mackerel fry set meals. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the "Shijuhachi Gyoba Akihabara Showadori-guchi" restaurant for lunch. It is conveniently located directly connected to Akihabara Station (Showadori exit). The lunch menu used to be 900 yen, but due to recent price increases, it has been raised. There was a separate sheet with a "Mixed Fry (990 yen)" option, which includes fried horse mackerel, squid, and 2 oysters. It comes with miso soup, rice, pickles, sauce & tartar, and the portion size is generous. The squid was hot and fresh, and the batter was crispy. The miso soup is refillable, but with 4 pieces of fry, it was quite filling even without a refill. Despite the price increase, the 990 yen meal had a good amount of food and was satisfying.

I don't feel like going far: there aren't many safe places nearby to drink in Akihabara. When I first visited, I was a bit hesitant about AKB48. Akihabara and 48, a fishing ground. Is it a shop that leans towards that side? It turned out to be a proper Forty-Eight Fishing Ground! It might be nice to celebrate the New Year with delicious fish caught in the morning. It's on the third floor, but it's easy with the elevator, so even if you're feeling lazy, it's okay. When the door opens, you're immediately inside the shop. The shop is spacious, so maintaining distance is easy, providing a sense of security. For lunch, since it was my first time, I wondered what to order. The lunch menu includes: - Full stomach set meal 1380 yen - Seafood pickled bowl 900 yen - Mixed fry set meal - Grilled fish set meal 950 yen Let's go with the grilled fish, a safe choice!! Recently, the idea of [safe] has been at the forefront. I've had quite a few experiences where playing it safe didn't work out. There was also an option for toppings on the fried horse mackerel. - Negitoro small side dish 250 yen - Young chicken tempura 250 yen - Grilled fish 200 yen - Fried horse mackerel 200 yen The extra options were well thought out. I decided on "Grilled fish set meal + Fried horse mackerel." The "Grilled fish set meal + Fried horse mackerel" arrived - with two types of fish, saury and mackerel. It's nice not to have to eat the same thing over and over... I love fried horse mackerel, so lucky. And at a time like this, it's only 200 yen, which is very much appreciated. Even though it's fried at an izakaya, it's not bad at all. The menu is mainly focused on fish, but there are sashimi, grilled, fried, simmered dishes, so you won't get bored. When I came at night, I felt like everything was good, but this time, I didn't have any particular feelings about the meal. Of course, it's a good place to leisurely eat and drink at night. We went with 5 people around 9pm on Friday. We had to wait a bit, but it's rare to find a place you can get into on a Friday night. Maybe because the service is quick? Plus, it's easy to get home from the station nearby. The appetizers were stylish and delicious. The seafood was so tasty that I wanted to eat more. There was a variety of sake available, which made it enjoyable.

A friend recommended this restaurant's Kudanshita branch, saying it was delicious, so I made a reservation online right away. It already seemed busy. My friend's words were right on the mark. When I want to eat sashimi or fish dishes and find a good, affordable restaurant, this is the place to go. But I have one request. The sake flask. It tends to spill a lot when pouring. I tried to be careful when pouring various times, but for some reason it still spills. Please find a way to fix this. It's more disappointing to waste it when the amount is already small.

We visited this restaurant on June 11, 2022 with my husband. The sashimi served on long geta sandals, the appetizers that come in bottles, and the dishes that are visually appealing were all delightful. While the style of ordering through a QR code with a smartphone has become more common, it was our first time experiencing it at this restaurant. They are certainly ahead of the curve.

Within walking distance from Akihabara Station. The location of the restaurant is a bit hard to find. It's in a building near the station, so once you find it, it's quick. It was my first visit, and the restaurant had a moderate level of crowd. Orders are placed through a smartphone. The staff members were friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The appetizers served at the beginning, such as seaweed, eggs, and some kind of boiled dish, were unnecessary. They cook fresh fish of your choice to your liking. I had herring as sashimi, and it was incredibly delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The other side dishes were also tasty, and I left satisfied.

The day before yesterday, on Saturday, my mother came up to Tokyo from Osaka, and my brother and I went out for dinner with her. We decided to try a restaurant that we wouldn't normally go to, and after some thought, we chose "Shijuhachi Gyoba" in Akihabara. We had made a reservation through Tabelog beforehand. We each ordered drinks and asked for recommendations from the staff as we placed our orders without worrying about the prices. The dishes started coming one after another. First, we had a small pot of wakame seaweed and clams as an appetizer. When I tasted it, I could smell the sea. It really felt like we were at a fish restaurant. We also had edamame and cloudy plum wine. The edamame had a unique taste with high quality and perfect temperature and saltiness. We tried some uni with shells. The flavor was rich, and it was delicious even without soy sauce. Next, we had a sashimi platter with six types of fish. The portion was a bit small, and the flavors were not very distinct. We also tried fried hokke (Okhotsk atka mackerel) and grilled hokke, which were both excellent. The fried kajika (greater amberjack) had a crispy coating and tasted like soy sauce senbei (rice cracker). The simmered kajika in Chinese-style broth had a tasty soup. Lastly, we had atemaki, which consisted of moromi tofu and cucumber. The moromi tofu had a rich flavor. In the end, the total bill for three people was in the ¥14,000 range. We used a 10% discount coupon from Tabelog, so we felt like we had ordered a lot of good food for the price. It came out to around ¥5,000 per person, but we felt that it was worth it.

I visited the restaurant at 18:45 on a regular day. It is a seafood restaurant chain located on the 3rd floor of JR Akihabara Station's direct connection "Atre Akihabara". At the time of posting, there are a total of 21 stores nationwide, with 15 stores in Tokyo alone. They offer fish dishes and Japanese sake from contracted fishermen and breweries nationwide. The Akihabara Showa-dori store, opened in December 2014, has a large seating capacity of 130 seats. I bought a book at Yodobashi and decided to stop by for a bit on my way back. The menu for today was boiled fish, which caught my interest. I ordered the recommended boiled Houbou fish and also some vegetable tempura. The appetizer that came out first was clams and seaweed, which was quite good. The boiled Houbou fish and vegetable tempura were both delicious. However, the bill exceeded 5000 yen, so the cost performance may be a bit low. They also have a course with a Kue hot pot and all-you-can-drink for 5000 yen, so I will try that next time.

I visited the restaurant alone around 1 pm on a weekday. When I got off the elevator on the 4th floor, I entered the restaurant immediately. Since the peak time had passed, there were only about 30% of customers in the restaurant. I was seated at a spacious table for 4 people. The menu was mainly focused on fish dishes, with a variety of options. I was torn between ordering a rice bowl or the lunch special, but I chose the weekly lunch special priced at 900 yen including tax. On that day, the main dishes were grilled mackerel and grilled salmon belly. The set also included rice, miso soup, and pickles. Additionally, there were two raw eggs on the table for you to enjoy freely. I wondered if it was okay to eat both of them? After placing my order, I had to wait for a long time. In the end, I waited for 25 minutes. During that time, the seafood bowls ordered by customers who came after me were being served one after another. Oh no! I regretted my choice. Since I only had 1 hour for lunch and the round trip travel time was less than 20 minutes, I only had about 10 minutes to eat. Oh no! It was tough! Therefore, I hurriedly ate my meal. It was the fastest I have ever eaten. The rice was shiny and delicious, the salmon belly was rich in fat (a bit too fatty for my taste), and the grilled mackerel was lightly seared and tasty. I was surprised by the long sashimi platter, and the huge oyster fry! All of this for 580 yen is a great deal! The oyster fry was crispy and delicious. The miso that came with it was also tasty, making it a great accompaniment for drinks. There were other dishes I wanted to try, but I was already too full. I will save them for next time. The staff was friendly and the variety of sake on the menu is impressive. The limited-time "Nagato Yuzukichi Sour" was refreshing and enjoyable.
