Visited again on September 17, 2023, around 6:50 pm. I was curious. Inside a container that looked like a potato salad bowl, you mix it up, and the texture is great. What a clever idea from the previous post. Visited on February 13, 2023, after 6 pm. I entered with a casual attitude thinking, "Well, this place looks good enough." The sashimi platter was impressive, but the real surprise was the potato salad! Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the potato salad. What was delicious about it? ... It was really delicious.

I usually skip lunch, but today I happened to go out without eating breakfast, so I decided to have lunch out and came to this restaurant. When I entered and said I was dining alone, I was seated at the counter. I ordered the large fried horse mackerel set meal (1055 yen). First, you choose the rice portion size from large, regular, or small, and I chose regular. Then, you choose between grated yam udon or seaweed soup, and I chose seaweed soup. I also ordered a Highball 1st Avenue (straight) for 299 yen (slightly cheaper until 5 pm). The lunch peak time had passed, but the restaurant was still crowded with customers coming in continuously. The counter was full, so single customers who came later were seated at tables. The table seemed more comfortable than the cramped counter. I wish I had come a little later. The Highball arrived first, so I took a sip. It was refreshing as it was hot outside. After a while, the set meal arrived. The large horse mackerel was freshly fried. It was thick and juicy, with a slightly thick coating that was crispy and delicious. I washed it down with the Highball. The Highball was cheap, so I couldn't complain, but as a drinker, I felt it was a bit weak and lacked punch. On the other hand, the seaweed soup paired well with miso soup and was delicious. After eating and drinking for about 30 minutes, I finished my meal. Thank you for the meal.

It was the last day of Golden Week. I slipped into the crowded Akihabara Station, bustling with foreign tourists, and arrived at the restaurant around 3pm. Inside, there were only Japanese customers. Ordering seemed daunting at first, but luckily you could order with your smartphone, which made things easier. I tried the recommended crab miso dish, which came in a crab shell. I was hesitant about the crab miso at first, thinking it might have a strong taste, but it was surprisingly delicious without any overpowering flavors. I also ordered scallops and other seafood, all cooked in a way that was easy to eat. Roasting them on the tabletop grill brought out a wonderful aroma and really put me in a vacation mood. I had originally planned to go to a different restaurant but ended up here on a whim, and I'm glad I did. It was affordable and I will definitely visit again.

The entrance had a sign saying "Due to a shortage of staff, there may be a delay in service," but the food was served promptly without any issues! We had sashimi, grilled crab miso, mushroom and squid offal grill, crab fried rice, edamame, eihire, 2 beers, and 2 highballs for a total of 7,105 yen for two people! We were so full and I got really drunk because I haven't been drinking lately... I wish I could have eaten more, but I couldn't. It was my first time at Isomaru and the taste hasn't changed at all, it was delicious as usual. Although my taste and sense of smell have become sharper recently, so it was just okay in terms of being extremely delicious. Cooking and eating it ourselves was quite enjoyable. I would be happy if they had regular rice balls on the menu! Also, being able to have set meals even at night seems to be very cost-effective! Having a beer and a set meal would probably be satisfying enough. It's a great place for dining alone!!

I accompanied my son to indulge in his hobby and we explored Akihabara as a family. Feeling hungry, we decided to satisfy our appetites with some seafood. We enjoyed fresh grilled scallops and clams from the tank, along with sashimi and beer for lunch. The atmosphere of the restaurant had a year-end feel to it, with a relaxed vibe as people enjoyed their meals. It made me realize that it's already the end of the year. I hope to make next year a good one too. Thank you for the delicious meal.

On this day (December 25th), after having morning ramen, we headed to Akihabara. We went to Radio Kaikan to buy can badges of our favorite anime, BanG Dream! But the main focus was on my partner's favorite Gundam area! There were lots of Unicorns! And Sinanju too! And the black Gundam! (Just mentioning what I know). My partner seemed satisfied with everything. I was also able to buy a lot of the can badges I was looking for, so I was very happy. We thought about heading back, but the smell of alcohol tempted us. So we went to Isomaru Suisan nearby. Even though it was Christmas, our activities didn't change haha. We ordered beer and highball and enjoyed them while grilling the fish cakes. We checked out gourmet images again. This time it was the morning ramen. I was busy making videos and editing reels, and my partner was also focused on making reels. We were more engrossed in that than eating (sorry Isomaru-san). Plus, the ramen was still in my stomach. So we added edamame and umeshiso (again!) to complete our quota. We leisurely made videos and had another drink. That's how it went on and on, sorry it got long. Next time, we'll go with an empty stomach! Isomaru Suisan is also a close friend to us. After visiting Tokyo Daijingu, we returned to Akihabara and had lunch at Isomaru Suisan Akihabara store, where we ordered a tuna bowl and some side dishes. It was lunchtime and the place was crowded. We were planning to make a detour to Asakusa before heading back, but then I realized that I had forgotten to pick up my shrine stamp book that I had left at Tokyo Daijingu. Feeling embarrassed, I went back to Tokyo Daijingu to retrieve it.

On the last day of Golden Week, I felt like drinking beer from noon onwards, so I was drawn to Isomaru Suisan in Akihabara with my friends. This restaurant's charm lies in being able to grill seafood right in front of you. And it's reasonably priced. We decided to spend the last day of Golden Week eating delicious food and drinking, so Isomaru Suisan was the perfect choice for our second stop (the first stop was a beer bar). I've been into Asahi Super Dry recently, and the tuna sashimi and ham cutlet are classic choices that never disappoint. Watching scallops being grilled in their shells right in front of you is visually appealing and absolutely delicious. When you drizzle butter and soy sauce on the grilled scallops, the fragrant flavor spreads gently. Is this the true pleasure of grilling right before your eyes? The taste is naturally superb. Although our stay was short, we left feeling very satisfied. By the way, Isomaru Suisan now has touch screen ordering, which makes ordering easier even though it can be a bit of a hassle to find items on the menu.

After a meal in Akihabara, I planned to have a quick drink at a seafood restaurant. Instead of fried dishes, I opted for sashimi, grilled seafood, and shochu. The place was not too crowded on a Thursday night, and I ordered a Hoppy drink and potato fries. The grilled shishamo and satsuma-age were tasty, but the potato fries were a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

Sometimes there are disappointing experiences depending on the shop or time, but the service was also wonderful and enjoyable. It was nice that they came to refill our tea halfway through. The restaurant is conveniently close to the station, making it easy to enjoy some seafood. The almond jelly was consistently delicious.

A shop I have been using frequently for years. It stays open late, has reasonably fresh seafood that is also reasonably delicious, and the prices are cheap. The staff is friendly. There's no reason not to go late at night. I like the style of grilling at my own table. The quality is good for the price, making it a good place for regular use.

Today, I went for a day drinking session in Akihabara! It had been a while since I wanted to visit Isomizu, so I decided to go to Akihabara instead of Ueno (which I thought would be crowded) for that purpose. Just so you know, if you ask for the appetizer to be skipped at Isomizu, they will not serve it, so we started with a toast with mikan sake. Here are some of the dishes we ordered and enjoyed: - Cucumber with sesame salt: I usually order some kind of cucumber dish wherever I go. I like the simplicity of it. - Potato fries: Another dish that I usually order everywhere, but I particularly like the potato fries at Isomizu because the coating is well-seasoned and delicious. - Macasara: My companion liked this dish. It had small raw onions in it, so I only had a little taste. - Crab miso: A must-have dish at Isomizu! It's creamy and delicious. - Hamaguri (clam): If you grill it to your liking and eat it piping hot, it's definitely delicious. - Negitoro (tuna and green onion) roll: I forgot to take a picture for some reason. I once heard on TV that adding crab miso to crab fried rice makes it delicious, so I tried it and it was good. My friend suggested adding crab miso to the negitoro roll, so I chose that this time and it was delicious. From the second drink onwards, I just kept drinking Galichu and had a fun day drinking session! Isomizu would be perfect if it were a little cheaper.

Three colleagues from work experienced lunch at Isomaru Suisan for the first time! We have used it as an izakaya several times before, but since we were able to make a reservation for lunch during the GoTo campaign period, we decided to go. The prices range from the 500 yen range to over 1,000 yen, with a wide variety of options including seafood bowls, fry dishes, sushi, and udon/soba sets. We ordered the following: - Tuna 2-color bowl [regular]: 590 yen - Salmon negitoro bowl: 680 yen - Isomaru 4-color bowl: 780 yen Even though the prices are already reasonable, with the GoTo campaign, we received a 500 yen point back per person, making it actually cost us only 90 yen to 280 yen each! This experience has made us want to visit even without any special campaigns in the future, so it was a good plan. It's a price-friendly option for salarymen! Satisfying lunch experience. Akihabara store lunch use! I wanted to drink from lunch and eat seafood bowl, but I couldn't find a good restaurant while walking around. In the end, I ended up at Isomaru Suisan, a chain restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is long and narrow, with seats where you can watch TV, and a room in the back that seems suitable for group use. I ordered a sea urchin and sea urchin bowl, and miso soup, and toasted with a draft beer. The beer was Asahi Super Dry, so personally, I was very excited. However, it was a bit sour. Maybe it wasn't cleaned properly. A little disappointing. This restaurant also had two types of craft beer, so I cheered up and toasted with craft beer. It was very delicious. The vinegar rice in the sea urchin bowl was a bit soft. Personally, I like it a bit soft, but it was still a bit too soft. I quickly finished my lunch and headed to the second restaurant! I won't leave without eating the crab miso!!! This is a menu item that I always order without fail. If you also love scallops, then I might order that too!!! However, recently, Isomaru has been featured on a map for overseas visitors, so everywhere you go is full of foreigners. About 8 years ago, I visited a branch located around Shinjuku, and that was the last time. There were 6 of us, and I remember what we ate, and I also remember the smell of grilled food lingering after we left the restaurant. This time, I visited the "Isomaru Suisan" Akihabara branch, which is a nationwide chain of seafood izakayas known for serving fresh seafood. The Akihabara station is just a 30-second walk away, close to the central ticket gate. The restaurant is spacious and bright, with a large seating capacity of 272 people. The menu mainly focuses on shellfish, and the prices are reasonable. The table comes with a gas stove for grilling, and the ordering is done through tablets. We ordered various dishes including grilled crab shell, crab miso shell, and luxurious overflowing sushi. Overall, the food was good, although some dishes were a bit overpriced. The total bill came to 4656 yen, and while it wasn't a bad meal, it may not be worth the price for some.

On this day, we went to a restaurant with my company drinking buddies, and despite my boss's preference for Italian food, we ended up going to a smokeless roaster place. It had a nice atmosphere. However, the tuna was not good, it was too tough so we ended up grilling it and sharing. The grilled squid was delicious. Overall, there was nothing particularly noteworthy about the place. We didn't eat and drink much, and it cost us 8000 yen for two people, so despite the cheap seafood-themed sign, it was a slightly pricey place with a strong focus on seafood, similar to Watami.

The cost performance is relatively good, but if you go with the expectation of a sushi restaurant, it might be a bit underwhelming. The seafood was average, except for yellowtail, crab meat, flying fish roe, and conger eel. They don't serve soup with the meal. The total bill was 1409 yen (including extra large size for 100 yen). The only charm is that they are open 24 hours, so you can eat while waiting for the first train.

After enjoying two rounds of curry, I decided to take a stroll around Akihabara station. It was a busy day with lots of people around. While waiting for the next curry restaurant to open, I wanted to have a light drink to pass the time. I spotted this place earlier and decided to give it a try. It was still before 10 am, but the place was quite lively, especially with some young guys already having a good time since the morning. I was seated at the counter, and this was only my second time at Isomaru, having visited their branch in Nagoya for lunch once. I ordered a draft beer, macaroni salad, shochu plum cocktail (called "Raijin"), and Isomaru sake (Japanese sake). The total came to 1724 yen including tax. After all the food I had earlier, I focused on enjoying the drinks this time. The beer was decent, and I appreciated the generous pour of shochu and sake. The macaroni salad was seasoned with pepper and had a hint of spice, which paired well with the drinks. It was a good way to pass the time and I was able to move on to the next place smoothly. 24-hour service really comes in handy, and I would definitely consider coming back again.

I had the lunch limited medium fatty tuna bowl for 850 yen before tax and miso soup with fresh seaweed for 100 yen before tax. I visited a seafood izakaya chain near Akihabara Electric Town Exit, which is open 24 hours. The service is based on the youthful style. The normal tuna marinated bowl is 590 yen, but this time I splurged. I enjoyed a casual seafood bowl.
