I visited the restaurant without a reservation and luckily got a seat even though it was full. The salt tsukune was incredibly delicious. I ordered a mega-sized lemon sour, green tea highball, and various skewers all with salt. Everything I tried was amazing. I especially liked the salt tsukune, so I plan to try the salt tsukune with white liver and Oyama chicken next time. It was surprisingly crowded on a Wednesday.

All the dishes I ordered were delicious. The staff was very friendly at this izakaya. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed in all seats, so there were many smokers and the smoke was bothersome. Having ashtrays on the table can make the food taste bad (I moved the ashtray to a hidden spot). The negima and tsukune were very delicious. The sashimi of aged sea bream that was aged for a few days was also delicious. Smoking during meals is definitely a no-go for me, so I won't be returning, but I would like to try the skewers again. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant during a time when infection prevention measures were lifted and evening banquets were allowed, bringing back the liveliness to the city. I was warmly welcomed and seated at a spacious table. I ordered a variety of dishes a la carte, all of which were delicious. The restaurant offered unique twists on traditional dishes, especially the skewers. The kitchen staff must be skilled, given the quality of the grilled dishes. The service was polite and attentive, despite the challenges of maintaining staff during the rest period. I enjoyed a range of drinks, from beer to sake, and was satisfied with the bill, which exceeded 10,000 yen per person. The quality of the food and service justified the price.

After a long time, I visited the annex of a popular Akasaka Mitsuke lunch spot. Located next to it, the unique steep stairs lead up to an izakaya zone. There are several lunch options available, but today I chose the famous yakitori. Here, you can enjoy unlimited rice, minced meat, green onions, and pickles. Despite being on a diet, I couldn't resist getting seconds of white rice and minced meat. The main dish, yakitori topped with cheese and simmered onions in a sweet and savory sauce, was delicious. This place allows smoking, so be aware if that is a concern for you.

In the middle of Akasaka and Akasaka Mitsuke, there is a unique restaurant that exudes a slightly different atmosphere from its surroundings. Curious, I timidly climbed the stairs to find the entrance on the second floor. The interior of the restaurant was surprisingly spacious. It turns out this restaurant is a sister store of the previously visited "Akasaka Sobieru"! That place was delicious, so I had high expectations for this one!
- Draft beer (550 yen): Let's start with a beer! It was delicious, and the appetizer was also fancy with tasty salmon roe.
- Premium chicken heart (270 yen): The charcoal-grilled chicken skewers are delicious, especially this premium chicken heart. It was perfect in texture and seasoning.
- Pacific saury namero (680 yen): A rare dish of Pacific saury namero! It was my first time trying it, and it was incredibly delicious.
- Beef shimacho aburi (grilled fatty hormone) pairs perfectly with beer. The combination with green onions is excellent.
- Mega-sized lemon sour (980 yen): I switched from beer to sour at this point! The sour came in a mega size, which was a great deal!
- Avocado seafood tartare (680 yen): Another great dish for snacking. Avocado, when combined with other ingredients, becomes incredibly delicious.
- Stir-fried egg and fresh wood ear mushrooms (680 yen): The aroma of the oyster stimulates the appetite. The texture of the wood ear mushrooms is also great!
- Chicken skin (230 yen) and Tsukimi tsukune (320 yen): I ordered several skewers at this point! All the yakitori here is delicious! I later found out that their salt tsukune is a specialty... I missed out on ordering it! But the Tsukimi tsukune was also delicious.
- Japanese-style mochi mentaiko omelette (580 yen): The combination of mentaiko and mochi is perfect. The egg was cooked just right, and I could eat it all day!
- Shanghai-style seafood yakisoba (820 yen): After eating quite a bit, it's time to finish up. Starting with the yakisoba! It's packed with vegetables, and yakisoba is always delicious!
- Onigiri (250 yen): Finally, onigiri! There are grilled onigiri and regular onigiri. You can choose from salmon, mentaiko, or plum flavors. So, I ate a ton this day. I'm stuffed! From the appetizer to the finish, all the dishes were delicious and satisfying! The variety of drinks and snacks is extensive, making it a great place for drinkers. Plus, the prices are not too high, so it's easy to visit casually. Sobieru is a great restaurant no matter which location you go to. I'll definitely go back.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, I was craving a drink. I found an excuse to meet a friend and sit side by side at the counter for a short time (while avoiding close contact). Luckily, there were two empty seats at the counter! We used separate chopsticks to share the dish and enjoyed our meal. I couldn't relax and get drunk because I was worried about various things. I hope we can have a fun and lively drinking session like we used to in the past. As for the taste, it was consistently delicious as always! Thank you for the meal.

I revisited the restaurant to seek revenge on Azukawa-san who rejected me yesterday. However, the lights were on but the shutter was half closed, and there was no sign of opening even though it was past 12 o'clock. So, I went to the second option, Akasaka Sobo Bettei, next door. I ordered the Sweet and Spicy Charcoal-Grilled Chicken with Soft-Boiled Egg for 900 yen with extra rice. The rice was all-you-can-eat, and they served it with miso soup first. During lunchtime, you can help yourself to as much minced chicken with salt as you want, so I scooped plenty onto my bowl along with chopped green onions as an accent. The lightly salty minced chicken with sesame oil aroma was enjoyable, and I finished the first bowl. The Sweet and Spicy Charcoal-Grilled Chicken was served on a hot iron plate, and when I broke the soft-boiled egg on top, the rich seasoning made the rice go down smoothly. I piled on more self-service rice and poured the sauce from the iron plate over it to create my own grilled chicken bowl. I enjoyed the miso soup as a break between bites. Delicious! d(´ڡ`๑)

This is a sweet and savory simmered chicken dish that is cooked to perfection, served with a side of warm rice. For those who can eat a lot of rice, this is like heaven - with free refills and unlimited chicken mince topping. The main dish of charcoal-grilled chicken simmered in a rich sauce can be enjoyed by adding it on top of rice for a satisfying meal. Personally, I found the flavor of the main dish a bit too strong as I don't have a big appetite, but it was still delicious. Chicken lovers will appreciate the variety of options available for rotation. Above all, it's great to enjoy a delicious lunch for just a thousand yen with change to spare.

I had been curious for a while, and finally visited this place. The steep stairs led to a door that was hard to open, but inside was a calm atmosphere. As soon as I saw the sign, I decided to order the ginger pork for 900 yen. First, miso soup and rice arrived, followed by the option to add more minced meat as desired. The cost performance was amazing, with unlimited rice refills for 900 yen. The ginger pork was rich and sweet, with plenty of pork and a flavorful black sauce. The peppers and onions were plentiful, and the mayonnaise was a nice touch. It would be perfect with some added spice. I definitely want to come back!

In a typical drinking party, the sashimi platter with bonito tataki, amberjack, sea bream, and striped jack was delicious. The main dish was yakitori, and the variety was quite good. The white liver, heart, and tsukune (with salt, sauce & raw egg, cheese) were particularly delicious. The tsukune was recommended by the restaurant, made by mixing rare parts of beef, pork, and chicken to make it soft and tasty. Meat dishes like striped jack and beef tongue with plenty of green onions were satisfying for a green onion lover like me.

My senior wanted to eat fried chicken, so we visited this restaurant near the office. It was after 1 pm and there was only one other group of customers. We were seated at a table by the window, but it wasn't very cool, more like sitting in the shade outside. It was a bit warm. I ordered the specialty sweet and savory simmered chicken. The flavor was rich and the rice went well with it. It seemed like it would pair nicely with alcohol. When ordering, the waitress asked, "Would you like it spicy?" which caught me off guard. Apparently, you can add extra spice if you want. I was intrigued, but decided to go with the regular option this time. It was more "sweet and salty" than "sweet and savory." The chicken soboro was all-you-can-eat, and they even decorated it with green onion flowers. The miso soup had daikon radish and a small amount of tofu, which was also delicious. A soft-boiled egg was included, but it seems like it's not a standard for all menu items. At first, I thought there was not enough chicken, but when I tasted it, there was a good amount. The fried chicken also had a decent portion. However, I usually need to eat until I'm 80% full at lunch, but I was comfortably full at 70% this time, so the portion may be smaller than other places nearby. It might be a good portion size for a female lunch. Oh, I heard that men can also get rice and chicken soboro refills, so that might be good for them too.

In Akasaka in the early afternoon, I found a sign and entered a restaurant called "Tonari." It is located on the second floor up a narrow staircase. It seems to be a yakitori izakaya at night, and their recommended dish for lunch was the "Sweet and Spicy Grilled Chicken for 900 yen" with an optional side of cream croquette for a total of 1,000 yen including tax. They provide complimentary water on the table. After ordering, rice and miso soup arrived in about 3 minutes. The minced chicken topping was all-you-can-eat, and the staff recommended eating it with mayonnaise, which was quite tasty. The minced chicken topping was decent. I expected the main dish, the sweet and spicy grilled chicken, to arrive soon after, but it took about 10 minutes. Due to the time gap, the rice had cooled down. The grilled chicken did not have a noticeable charcoal flavor as expected, and the sweet and spicy flavor was more salty than sweet. The set also included a crab cream croquette with a generous amount of sauce, which made it lack the crispy texture. I had high hopes for the grilled chicken at a yakitori place, but it was far from what I had imagined...

I used it for a solo lunch for the first time in a while. It was past 12 o'clock, but the restaurant was not crowded and there were plenty of empty seats. I ordered the lemon fried chicken set meal for 900 yen. The rice and miso soup came out first, and the main dish came out in about 10 minutes. The fried chicken had a nice seasoning and was coated with starch, similar to Tatsutaage, which I like. There were 7-8 pieces, so the portion was sufficient. The rice and chicken soboro are all-you-can-eat, so you can be fully satisfied. It's a hidden gem for lunch, as it's not crowded.

"Tonari" near Akasaka-Mitsuke Station. It's a lively and casual izakaya where you can enjoy delicious food without any fuss. I used to go there a lot during my Akasaka OL days! Chicken dishes like yakitori go great with drinks and are really tasty. By the way, this time the plate had the word "Kaisekigeki" on it. Each plate has a different word, so it's fun to see what you get!

I am a non-smoker, but I went with people who smoke paper cigarettes and e-cigarettes. There was a slight smell of tobacco, but it didn't bother me as the ventilation was good or maybe because of their consideration. The food was delicious and enjoyable! It's a shame that there is only one unisex toilet.

I used it for a company party! So I didn't take any photos. It is located between Akasaka-Mitsuke Station and Akasaka Station, so it is easily accessible from both lines. I made seat reservations only and casually ordered food and drinks, costing around 5,000 yen per person. The skewers were all delicious, especially the tsukune (chicken meatballs) and heart were recommended! The sashimi was also fresh, with fresh shad (hokke) served. I would like to go again next time.

The salted tsukune is delicious. You don't need to order the moon-viewing dish. There is no reason not to use the coupon for a drink priced at 300 yen.

The rice and minced meat dish with unlimited refills, along with other side dishes, costs 900 yen. The portion size is generous and delicious. The restaurant is spacious, so it's less likely to have trouble finding a seat during lunchtime. There are around 5 lunch options to choose from.

Delicious and cost-effective menu with a lot of options that appeal to people in their forties. Recommended for those who enjoy izakaya settings. We ordered a la carte from 7:00 pm for about 3 hours with 4 people, and it came out to around 30,000 yen.

I made a reservation for a company welcome party on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. I reserved the following course: "★Most Popular★ Welcome and Farewell Party Course" with 8 dishes for 5000 yen including all-you-can-drink. I also ordered a sashimi platter as an additional dish, and everything was delicious. I ate so much that I felt like my stomach was going to burst (lol). Among all the dishes, the highlights were the salted tsukune with grated new onion, the charcoal-grilled beef sirloin with new potatoes and butter (especially the potatoes!), the strawberry cream puff ice cream, and the sashimi platter with firefly squid. It was a bit noisy, so if you want a more quiet and intimate atmosphere, I recommend sitting at the counter. I definitely want to go back and I want to recommend this place to my friends. Thank you very much.
