I went with my senior colleague who loves fish and Japanese sake. If she highly recommends it, then it's guaranteed to be good! And it was just as expected, no, even better!! We had a sashimi platter and half a squid, and it was so refreshing to eat such translucent squid after a long time!! It was so delicious!! We also used a coupon from Tabelog to get some tuna sashimi, and it was really, really good. The wasabi was also delicious. When you order a sashimi platter, they also serve vinegar rice and seaweed together. It's delicious even when you make hand rolls. We ordered a set where you get a beer for free when you order a 1-glass of sake for 1000 yen. They have their original sake as well, but this time we went with the Kudoki Jouzu from Yamagata. Isn't it great value for money? We were soothed by the delicious food, and the handsome waiter and other staff members were very attentive and took good care of our table. The service from all the staff members was fantastic, and once again, my heart was healed. Thank you for the feast!!

All the dishes I ate were delicious. The broth served as an appetizer was tasty. The freshness of the fish was good. You can enjoy it in various ways. The staff's service was excellent. (This time, they partially seared the tilefish sashimi and kindly answered my questions about sake.) A casual yet slightly luxurious restaurant where you can treat yourself.

Squid sashimi is delicious! You can choose to have it tempura or grilled at the end! I had it tempura style~!! The skewers are also delicious!! ⭐️5⭐️ I want to go back. I love it so much that I don't want to tell anyone. ⭐️4⭐️ I would recommend this place if asked. ⭐️3⭐️ I might go again~ ⭐️2⭐️ Hmm~ I prefer to try a different restaurant if possible. ⭐️1⭐️ Personally, I do not recommend it. Instagram @tokyo_gourmet_yokutaberuko I often eat out / Tokyo Gourmet I only introduce restaurants with 4 or 5 stars on Instagram and Tabelog.

On my way home from work, I happened to find this restaurant on Tabelog. I usually have a hard time finding good restaurants, so I didn't have high expectations when I visited, but I was pleasantly surprised. Each dish was carefully crafted and delicious. If it were a bit more affordable, I would definitely come back more often, but I guess it's priced like most places in Akasaka.

Today, I went to Domannaka once again. [Today's Order] - Kamaage Shirasu and Colorful Vegetable Mentaiko Salad - Sashimi Platter for 2 - Grilled Salmon Belly and Salmon Roe - Thick Grilled Eel with Hitsu-mabushi Style Rice - Kama Meshi (rice cooked in an iron pot) We were also introduced to various rare Japanese sake today. As expected, both the food and the sake at Domannaka are delicious!

Delicious, fun, and great value for money! I came here with a friend who was in the mood for fish. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we saw a tank with a cute filefish swimming inside. The place was popular and quickly filled up with reserved customers. The staff were polite, efficient, and flexible with our drink choices. We ordered:
- Fresh squid sashimi (market price) with a bonus of a five-piece sashimi set, rice, and seaweed for an extra 550 yen. You can choose to have the squid tentacles fried or grilled.
- Salad with boiled whitebait and spicy cod roe sauce
- Potato salad
- French fries
- Edamame
- Salmon belly and salmon roe rice cooked in a pot (takes 30-40 minutes, so order early). They also provide broth so you can enjoy it like ochazuke.
I enjoyed a few different types of sake, which was a rare treat for me. The sashimi was so delicious that I couldn't resist. Despite the lively atmosphere, the staff maintained just the right distance and made us feel comfortable. All the dishes were tasty, so it was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the feast!

I made a phone reservation on a Friday afternoon, and even though I had trouble getting through to two other restaurants, this one answered right away. Despite showing no availability online, they managed to arrange a seat for me during a reservation gap. The food and drinks were delicious. However, they seemed to run out of a lot of sake, which limited the options for the all-you-can-drink menu. I chose shabu-shabu for the course, and the gas stove was brought to the table, but then it was changed to braised pork due to the restaurant's circumstances. I was in the restroom at the time, and my companion, who doesn't speak Japanese, couldn't provide an exact reason, but I assume it was due to ingredient shortage. Since I had made a last-minute reservation in the afternoon, I understand if they needed to prioritize ingredients for customers who had reserved in advance. Overall, the sake and food were delicious. If you can't handle the possibility of items not being available as listed on the menu, I recommend making an early reservation and arriving early. The staff were all very kind and attentive, constantly refilling drinks and clearing dishes.

I used the course with premium all-you-can-drink for 6,500 yen. The lineup includes over 20 types of sake such as Shimahara, Bakuren, Tokuyama, Kokuryu, and Dassai, which is amazing. The sashimi is fresh, and as you can see, the oysters are so big that you can't eat them in one bite. The staff's response is also excellent and efficient. However, the seats are simple and narrow, and it can be noisy, so it's best to use it with colleagues or friends.

I went to my favorite Domankan restaurant. This time, I ordered the course with all-you-can-drink for 5,500 yen. Last time, I chose the "Domestic pork salt simmered" dish, but this time I went for the "Spring spear squid & firefly squid with young shoots shabu-shabu". The broth was incredibly delicious and I was very satisfied with this dish!

I found Domannaka in Akasaka, a place where you can eat without feeling uptight. I wanted to eat seafood, so I was happy to find this place. I had fresh raw kawahagi with liver soy sauce, which was delicious and did not disappoint. The overall food was delicious, especially the oyster and shrimp tempura. What's amazing is that they offer all-you-can-drink sake, including rare and valuable brands, which made for a lively and enjoyable time. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by this restaurant with an old friend after going to the sauna. Since it was Golden Week, the high-end restaurants we usually go to were mostly closed, and we found this more casual place. We wanted Japanese food, so we ordered mainly seafood dishes, but there were many other options on the menu as well. The selection of sake was quite extensive, which was nice. The restaurant had some performances, including one where they caught fresh fish with their hands and then cooked it. There were also quite a few foreign tourists there, and the place was bustling. While it may look like a casual izakaya at first glance, each dish on the menu was carefully prepared and delicious.

I visited on Friday night around 9 pm and the restaurant was almost full. Today's order included boiled edamame, fresh tuna sashimi, Kumamoto special horse sashimi, thickly sliced grilled eel with rice, and delicious sake. I enjoyed a delicious meal with sake once again today!

I visited the restaurant alone around 12:30 on a weekday. The place was almost full, with even solo female diners. I ordered the seafood fisherman's bowl, but later noticed that the daily special was a mackerel sun-dried and sashimi set meal, which was cheaper than the fisherman's bowl. I felt a sense of defeat. The food arrived in about 5 minutes, and they mentioned that rice and miso soup were refillable. The sashimi was placed directly on the hot rice, so it became lukewarm. If they had put it on a leaf or plate, my impression might have been better. I'm undecided about revisiting. I paid with PayPay.

Today I was in the mood for fish, so I went to this seafood izakaya for lunch. They offer a variety of seafood rice bowls, sashimi, and fried dishes. I opted for the daily special (salmon belly and sashimi platter) priced at 1,000 yen. The food was served in a timely manner, and the sashimi (red snapper, cutlassfish, and amberjack) was fresh and delicious. The salmon belly was also flavorful and went well with the rice. The miso soup was refillable, but I resisted the temptation to order more food. The atmosphere was typical of an izakaya, with beer served in a large glass. Overall, it was a satisfying meal and I look forward to coming back for dinner next time to enjoy more fresh seafood at a reasonable price.

The long and narrow restaurant has tables and a counter. The lunch deals with seafood as the main focus are very cost-effective. They offer daily specials with generous portions. Today's special is the "Seafood Feast Omakase" for 1200 yen. It includes grilled mackerel, 3 types of sashimi, shirasu and green onion bowl, miso soup, and tofu. It's a filling and delicious meal.

I wanted to eat delicious fish, so I visited this place for the second time. It was the season for welcome and farewell parties, so the restaurant was full, but luckily there was a spot at the counter. This place is one of my favorites because they serve fresh sashimi at a reasonable price. They also have a wide selection of sake. The staff is very friendly, making it a comfortable place to dine.

I ordered the seafood fisherman's bowl for 1,100 yen. The volume of the seafood bowl was decent, but... it looked like a sashimi set with a boat-shaped presentation. Maybe ordering that would have been better.

This was my 5th visit. I usually order a la carte, but this time I tried the all-you-can-drink course for 5,500 yen (tax included) for the first time. I made a reservation on the same day, but they were able to accommodate the course, and I was very satisfied with the quality of the content!

A customer from Singapore visited, so we decided on a Japanese food and all-you-can-drink sake. The food and sake were both excellent. We ended up extending the all-you-can-drink option. The selection of sake, in particular, was fantastic. We will definitely come back.

We were overwhelmed by the powerful sashimi platter at the beginning, with ikura, shirako, and ankimo, paired with sake. The finale was a delicious salmon and ikura rice pot. It was very tasty. With three people, the cost was around 6000 yen per person, which is quite cost-effective for Akasaka.

In late December, I had a reservation for the last sushi of the year at "Sushi Matsumoto Akasaka". I arrived 30 minutes early and decided to kill time by dining at this restaurant. I ordered: appetizers (thick fried tofu, chicken, eggplant in chicken broth), salted squid, shark cartilage with plum jelly, 2 draft beers, and 1 barley shochu. Since I couldn't order anything too filling before sushi, I went with the salted squid and plum jelly (lol). The appetizers were surprisingly delicious. The total bill for two people, with a stay of about 30 minutes, came to 3,790 yen. I might consider coming back again.
