Happy Teppanyaki!! I used it for a drinking party with my colleagues. Happy Factory located on the second floor near a shrine in Ebisu. It seems that there are many affiliated shops in Ebisu. It turned out to be a great choice as it was a chilly day, so teppanyaki was perfect. The menu was so extensive that it was difficult to decide. I made a reservation through Tabelog this time, and as a special offer, we could choose between thick-cut bacon or garlic buttered turban shell for one dish. I chose the garlic buttered turban shell. It had plenty of garlic chips and the crunchy texture of the shell was delicious. The appetizers included simmered taro, anchovy cabbage with a crispy texture and a rich anchovy flavor, and pork and perilla leaf okonomiyaki which was refreshing and easy to eat. We also ordered stir-fried bean sprouts with a half-cooked egg on top, which was a good palate cleanser. We ordered the popular Happy MIX monjayaki, which was a fun dish to cook ourselves while enjoying the process. We added mochi to the Hakata Akemi-san topping of mentaiko and cheese, which made it even more delicious. We ended the meal with seafood salt yakisoba, which was served on a plate but the staff kindly advised us to transfer it to the teppan for a better experience. Lastly, we tried the ice cream and chocolate roll for dessert. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious, creating a great atmosphere for us to enjoy a wonderful time. The menu is so extensive that I feel like I need to visit again to truly experience the essence of the restaurant. I will definitely come back! Thank you for the meal.

The items ordered were Garlic Miso Ramen Monja, Italian Don Luciano's World of Darkness Monja with squid ink seafood, rice and cheese topping, Salmon, mushroom, potato butter soy sauce Monja, and Anchovy Cabbage. The lineup seemed delicious, but there was a feeling of incomplete combustion. The broth and seasoning of the dishes were not to my liking. The interior of the restaurant was not like Ebisu, but more like a downtown area, creating an exciting atmosphere.

This is a restaurant where you can try rare kinds of monjayaki that you can't usually eat! I visited because I wanted to eat monjayaki after a long time. It had been about 5 years since my last visit, but the food was still delicious as ever. Everyone was having fun choosing from the unique dishes with funny names. Be prepared to leave with the smell of oil all over your body, even on your bag. I recommend bringing a plastic bag to put your bag in beforehand.

My sister and I love this chain restaurant. There is a wide variety of teppanyaki dishes available! They have monjayaki, okonomiyaki, negiyaki, yakisoba, and more! The side dishes are also delicious and go well with drinks. Sometimes I just crave this rich sauce teppanyaki! It was full at 8 pm on Sunday, so we had to wait a bit before getting a table! I recommend making a reservation!

There were many different types of monjayaki to enjoy, but the names were unique and hard to understand. The monjayaki had a rich broth and was delicious. My older sister and I visited a monjayaki restaurant called "Happy Factory" on the weekend, after a long time. It's located about a 2-minute walk from Ebisu Station. Everywhere else was crowded, and we were already full from a special dinner, so we decided to try something different and ended up here. The restaurant has table seating and tatami seating, and it's a decent size. We toasted with oolong tea and had a potato salad appetizer. It had pickled radish in it and was cold and refreshing. There wasn't anything particularly special about the taste, but I guess this is what appetizers at a monjayaki restaurant are like. The assorted grilled vegetables included eggplant, yam, and eringi mushrooms. We grilled them ourselves at the table, using salt and pepper for seasoning. The lingering taste of glutamic acid was a bit bothersome. I couldn't help but think that using Himalayan rock salt or something similar would enhance the flavor of the vegetables. The salad was a colorful mix of chicken ham and broccoli, with a low-carb feel. The onions were surprisingly fresh and sweet, almost like spring onions. The homemade chicken ham didn't stand out, but the portion of the salad was generous and satisfying. The names of the dishes were all in this style, and we started with the classic "Akemi-san from Nakasu," which was mentaiko and cheese monjayaki. We skipped the Baby Star topping and added mochi instead. It was reliably delicious. Next, we tried the "Norisuke-san from Sanriku," which was a light monjayaki with mainly seaweed. It was a bit too simple in taste, and after a couple of bites, we wished for more variety. Adding ingredients like plum or pickled ginger with acidity might have made it tastier. For dessert, we had the Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki deluxe, which the staff cooked and brought to us, so we didn't have to do anything. Surprisingly, it was light and not as heavy as expected, with a crunchy texture from the cabbage. We finished it in no time. The total bill for the two of us was less than 10,000 yen after trying all these dishes. You don't need to go all the way to Tsukishima; you can find satisfying quality in Ebisu. They also offer unique flavors that you won't find elsewhere, so I recommend it even if you're tired of the usual options. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a monjayaki restaurant after a long time, and sometimes I just crave it. I love Noto in Tsukishima the most, but today I went to a place nearby. I had squid ink monja and Mexican-style monja, both unique but incredibly delicious. Especially the Mexican one! It tasted like mixing the top part of a Milanese-style doria, a flavor that everyone loves! I lowered my expectations, but it was even better than I expected. Highly recommend!

I visited this restaurant as it is part of the Ebisu Monja and Taru family of restaurants. I had been there before, but it had been many years since my last visit. The cozy atmosphere and delicious monja and okonomiyaki dishes were just as good as I remembered. The other menu items were also tasty, and the restaurant provided a comfortable space for a drinking party. I ordered the Green Curry Monja, Tom Yum Kung Monja, and Oyster Garlic Butter Yaki, among other dishes that I can't quite recall. I would love to visit again to enjoy a leisurely meal and drinks. June 11, 2021 Today, after a long time, I had okonomiyaki at "Happy Factory" with 2 people☆ It is a restaurant located on the 2nd floor of Brassam Dairoku Ten, about a 4-minute walk from Ebisu Station, in front of Ebisu Shrine. It opened on July 17, 2007, and serves okonomiyaki and monjayaki. There are tables and tatami seating available. The Showa era posters are quite intriguing. Today we opted for the all-you-can-drink full course! The all-you-can-drink menu includes a choice of monjayaki and okonomiyaki. We started with draft beer, apple and nut salad, pork chashu, eringi and asparagus grilled with butter, thick-cut beef tongue with leeks and salt, lotus root and mentaiko salad, and oyster foil-baked. We also had lemon sour, Happy Mix Tempura, yakisoba, pink grapefruit sour, and white ball with red bean paste for dessert. I went to Monja and Teppanyaki Happy Factory on a day using the GO TO campaign. I had the Happy MIX Tempura (pork, squid, shrimp, sakura shrimp, green onion, tempura scraps) okonomiyaki. It was topped with plenty of mayonnaise and sauce, and sprinkled with bonito flakes. The inside had a generous amount of cabbage. While waiting, I enjoyed a lemon sour with anchovy cabbage on the side, which was delicious.

I had okonomiyaki at this restaurant in Ebisu! The place might be a bit hard to find (^_^;) but the interior is quite spacious and has a charming atmosphere. I recommend ordering the Happy MIX okonomiyaki with mentaiko and cheese topping, as well as the fluffy Happy yaki. Okonomiyaki is always delicious, right? The fluffy Happy yaki is like a yam omelette and quite small, so I finished it in no time. The highball drink I randomly ordered was quite strong, so it might make you tipsy easily haha. I think it's a good place for a second round or after-party!

Located about 2 minutes from the west exit of Ebisu Station, there is a monjayaki restaurant!! While okonomiyaki is well-known, it's quite rare to find a monjayaki restaurant in Ebisu. It's more like an izakaya that also serves monjayaki. I'm not a fan of noisy places, but here the crowd was more mature, so it was okay. The menu has some funny names, and it seems like people come here to have a good time. We ordered various okonomiyaki and monjayaki dishes. We got to cook them ourselves, which I prefer over having it done for us. The flavors were good, with a rich dashi broth. There were also some unique menu items. Overall, we had a fun and enjoyable dining experience at Happy Kobo. Thank you for the meal!

I met up with some friends I hadn't seen in a while and had a monjayaki party. It's fun to cook monjayaki yourself, but this time we had the staff at the restaurant cook it for us. It's definitely better when someone experienced does it, and it was delicious. The seasoning and how to shape the monja may vary from person to person.
