Visited IBREW, a craft beer bar in Akihabara for the first time last night. They have a wide variety of beers, with US pints priced at either 690 yen or 990 yen, which is very cheap. I chose three pints from the 690 yen lineup: Fuji Sakura Mandarina Bavaria, a refreshing wheat beer with a great aftertaste; Umee Chicken Liver Pate, a great deal for just one coin; and Distant Shores East x West IPA, with a perfect balance of bitterness. The cheese platter for one coin was just the right amount. Lastly, I tried Kyoto Brewing Kuroshio No Gotoku, a Belgian stout with a gentle and mellow flavor. The bar has separate restrooms for men, women, and shared use, which is convenient. The staff were efficient and the beer was served quickly. Overall, a very satisfying experience. Cheers!

Just a few minutes walk from Akihabara Station, I visited "Craft Beer Bar IBREW Akihabara Station Front Store" where you can enjoy a variety of unique craft beers. This time, I tried the following:
- Craft Beer 5 kinds comparison set 1199 yen x 3
There are about 30 types of craft beers available for comparison, and over 30 types in total including ones outside of the comparison set. You can enjoy craft beers with bitterness, fruity citrus flavors, IPA, lager, and more!
In addition to beer, I also had:
- Refreshing green salad with coriander and sprouts (half) 759 yen
- Beef heart carpaccio with fresh herb sauce (limited quantity) 979 yen
- Special fried chicken with IB original blend spices (200 grams) 1199 yen
- Shrimp stick ajillo 1 piece 328 yen x 2
- Baguette 330 yen
Craft beer with ajillo and baguette! Craft beer with fried chicken! Craft beer with carpaccio and salad! It's the best (^.^) The inside of the store was full of customers but the staff's cheerful and efficient service left a good impression. I was very satisfied trying various craft beers. Thank you for the meal!

I went to a tap takeover event with a friend who wanted to do a beer tasting. We tried three different kinds of beer: EQUANIMITY HDHC DIPA, HELIX NEBULA DDH TIPA, and GREEN NEBULA DDH TIPA. We wanted to try more, but unfortunately, they were already sold out. The beer tasting was satisfying. We also enjoyed some snacks like octopus carpaccio, AKB fried potatoes, pork pate, and a ham assortment. Everything was delicious. I would love to visit again for another tap takeover event.

At 3 PM, almost fully booked as a typhoon approaches! They offer a wide variety of craft beers and a plethora of side dishes to choose from. Tapas starting at 300 yen make for great snacks. With plenty of seats and table options, it's perfect for a quick drink or for parties and gatherings.

I visited the restaurant on Saturday before 1:00 PM. They opened on time. There were 2 customers already there, and more came in after. There were 5 energetic staff members. It's impressive that they were already more than half full within 30 minutes of opening.

It's fun to choose from so many different beers! For beer lovers, it's a dream come true. I went with friends and we tried 15 different kinds of beer, then we toasted with our favorite one in a pint glass! We drank a lot~! The food was also delicious, but it was so good that we didn't have time to take photos...

Weekend day drinking at IBREW in Akihabara, comparing 5 different hazy beers. Including Uchu West Coast Brewing, Be Easy Brewing x VERTEREY-MARKET BREWING, Oni Densetsu x Watering Hole, and Yuya Boys. Enjoyed with chicken liver paste tomato salsa and red cabbage TACO salad, and AKB fried potatoes. It's difficult to comment on each of the 5 beers (especially when a little tipsy). What I do remember is that Be Easy x VERTEREY tasted like orange juice at first, but then had a spicy kick that left the biggest impression. I found that focusing on a few varieties and drinking more of each allowed me to appreciate the flavors better. However, each beer had its own unique charm, making it a challenging decision. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I usually visit during the daytime. It's not crowded during lunch hours, so I often drop by for a quick break like at a cafe. Craft beers are available in half pints, which is convenient for trying different types or for a casual drink. The food was also delicious, so I would like to come back for a proper drinking session in the evening next time.

The entrance area was quite bustling, but as you go further inside, there is a quieter area. There are various types of beers available, allowing you to compare and enjoy them in small quantities. It's really fun to go with friends and do a tasting. The food was also delicious!

I always go to this craft beer bar where you can drink from noon. They have a wide variety of beers at reasonable prices, which I am very grateful for. I hope they don't go out of business. I also frequent the Shinbashi branch, but the quality of the food varies from branch to branch, lacking a sense of consistency (lol). My friend recommends the Akihabara branch for its high-quality food. This time, the food was delicious again. I drank so much beer that I was feeling a bit tipsy (lol).

After a light day drinking warm-up in Kanda, we headed to Akihabara. The main event of the day was here. We arrived at the restaurant at 1 pm. The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk east from Akihabara Station, under the elevated tracks of the Sobu Line. On this day, there was a tap takeover by Kamado Brewery from Gifu Prefecture. The brewer Tamachan and the president Ericchan were also visiting, so Kamado fans were gathering early. The restaurant has about 10 counter seats and many table seats, as well as table seats on the 1.5th floor, and even semi-private rooms in the basement. We were seated at a table and asked Tamachan for recommendations on beers to try, enjoying a variety of options. We finished with a fruit beer before settling the bill. It was the first time I had seen this restaurant so packed. Thank you for the meal.
[Food]
Prices include tax
- Popcorn Shrimp (759 yen): Bite-sized fried shrimp. Crispy and snack-like. The ketchup sauce with a slightly unusual flavor (maybe jalapeno?) was also delicious.
- AKB Fried Potato (869 yen): Fried potatoes topped with a BBQ-like sauce and cheese. A lingering taste.
[Drinks]
Prices include tax
- TROPIC HAZE Summer Fruit - Half (759 yen): A hazy beer made with mango. Tropical flavor, perfect for the first drink.
- Kawachi Bunkan Stout - Half (759 yen): Kamado's stout has a dry taste that is not too bitter, making it easy to drink. Surprisingly good combination of malt and citrus flavors.
- Hop Market - Pint (1,419 yen): A dangerous 10% alcohol hazy beer with sweetness.
- Bianca Flola Brut IPA - Pint (1,419 yen): A crisp and dry IPA like white wine. I want to finish it while it's still cold.
- Grape Sour - Half (759 yen): A sour with a grape aroma and acidity.
- Toki Apple Cider (759 yen): Cider with a fruity apple taste and sweetness.

After the coronavirus pandemic, we had a drinking party at "Craft Beer Bar IBREW Akihabara Station Front Store". It was crowded even on weekdays, so I think reservations are necessary. It is located straight ahead on the right hand side after crossing the signal in front of Yodobashi Camera South Exit. The craft beer tasting set of 3 types is 759 yen. You can find your favorite taste and order a pint, or challenge yourself with the 10 types tasting set for 2180 yen. The food includes beef sagari pork buffalo chicken, with mashed potatoes as a side, in the "3MeatCOMBO" for 1099 yen, which is a hearty and delicious meat dish at a reasonable price. It is perfect for snacking and having a great time with friends. Recommended craft beers are priced at 690 yen for a pint and 390 yen for a half pint, making it affordable. There are several tiers of craft beers available. There were also families with children, and the back area has a spacious layout, making it suitable for various situations. It is recommended for those who want to enjoy craft beer and meat at a great value. The menu is on your smartphone, and orders are placed verbally.

I visited the beer bar IBREW for a pre-party gathering, located near the Akihabara Station Showa-dori exit. The atmosphere was much better than expected, with a steady stream of customers coming in. By the time we left, there was a waiting list. I tried a 5-beer tasting set for 1199 yen, which included Weizen, Schwarzbier, Pilsner, Weizenbock, and Koshihikari Lager, all from Gotemba Kogen Beer in Shizuoka. The Weizenbock, the fifth beer, stood out with its strong flavor and was my favorite.

I ordered a tasting of three craft beers. It was difficult to choose from the many options available, especially considering the additional charges for some. I didn't realize that the selection was focused on Japanese craft beers and didn't include any international options. Since beer loses its foam quickly, I found it more enjoyable to order one fresh pour at a time rather than a flight where the beers sit for a while. The atmosphere was lively and geared towards a younger crowd on the weekends. There was a counter, and if I remember correctly, there wasn't any appetizer served, making it suitable for a quick drink.

There were many craft beers from Japan. I haven't had much before, but they were delicious. The food was also delicious and satisfying. It was great that they opened at 1pm, so we could drink from noon. It was a happy experience to enjoy delicious beer and meat in the bright daylight.

I also visited the IBREW Shinbashi and Ginza branches, and despite being located near the Akihabara guard, the store was spacious. They had two types of beer from Sakanatsuki Shuzo that I tried. They also had three types of Black Tide, so I did a tasting comparison. It was a challenge to place the meal and beer flight set on the round table for two people (laughs). It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

The variety of beer is abundant and delicious. There are three types of all-you-can-drink courses, but I think the middle one is good. The drinks come out quickly when ordered! The size is just right to finish drinking, so you can enjoy a lot of different types. The staff's customer service is refreshing and the atmosphere is nice. The courses come with little food, so we often end up ordering more.

The variety of beer is abundant! I keep coming back because I can always find a new beer to try, which is very enjoyable. The food is also delicious. I want to drink at Amakusa again... It always seems crowded, and it can be a little cold in the winter.

I made a reservation for a 4000 yen course with all-you-can-drink option. The craft beer was unique and really good, but the food was a bit lacking in volume. Also, I felt like I had to take the initiative as the service was a bit neglectful, and there was no thoughtful customer service like serving tea after the meal. It may not be satisfying for those who expect attentive service.

One of the restaurants I wanted to visit. It was great to be able to choose and try a variety of craft beers with a flight. The food also had a good portion size. It was quite crowded even on a weekday afternoon. I had a fun time chatting with the person sitting next to me, both being solo diners.

I went to this place with fellow craft beer lovers. I had been curious about this place for a while because of its stylish atmosphere. The beer menu is checked through a QR code, while the food menu is on paper. It would be better if they unified the ordering process with either one - either through the QR code or with the staff. It was crowded even on a Monday at 6 pm. There were also solo customers at the counter, so it's a good place for individuals as well. They have a wide variety of beers, and of course, they are delicious!
