I used it to refresh my mouth between rounds of Asakusa Hashigo sake. There are no tables, but there are benches, so you can sit and eat slowly. I ordered the Ichigokezuri, which is shaved strawberries. It comes with condensed milk and strawberry jam, but you can also add more condensed milk if you like. I added more condensed milk because I wanted a milky taste. The strawberries were very delicious and refreshing for my mouth. I didn't drink any alcohol this time because I used it as a palate cleanser, but there are various strawberry-flavored alcoholic drinks available that I would like to try next time. The inside of the shop smelled like strawberry tequila or alcohol, which was a bit off-putting... haha. They also have seasonal and reservation-only items, which I found interesting.

Today, based on a recommendation from a friend, I stopped by a sweets shop called "Asakusa Ichigoza" in Asakusa, which has three locations. Despite the nice weather, there was a long line during the day (mostly young women). I, feeling a bit out of place, quietly waited in line as well. I wasn't sure what to order, so I ended up buying a bunch of smoothies and one "Gari Otome" to eat on the go. The owner wasn't there, but the sweets were really delicious as they say. I discovered a very innovative shop in Asakusa, which has a fashionable atmosphere and attracts many tourists. I usually enjoy exploring new places, and this time I ordered a strawberry beer and a strawberry highball. The strawberry beer tasted exactly as I had imagined, while the strawberry highball had a unique twist to it. It may not be to everyone's taste, but it's definitely worth trying as an experience. I wanted to eat ice cream while walking around, but the strawberry smoothie looked delicious, so I chose that. I went with the strawberry smoothie with milk. It was the perfect choice after eating monjayaki, very refreshing. It paired perfectly with the taiyaki I bought afterwards.

The atmosphere of the shop was really lovely, very Asakusa-like! I ordered the Kanazashi Strawberry and Strawberry Soda. However, when it came time to pay, there was a discrepancy between the prices on the menu and what I was charged for. The cashier just stated the amount without making eye contact, which made me feel a bit uncomfortable. While waiting for my order inside the shop, the strong scent of hinoki wood was overwhelming, even with my mask on. When I finally tried the Kanazashi Strawberry, I hate to say this but it was really not delicious. The toppings and strawberries themselves were good, but the combination and proportions were off, resulting in a messy and disappointing taste for the price of 650 yen. The strawberry jam on top clashed with the traditional Japanese elements like the strawberries, white bean paste, and warabi mochi, creating an overall unbalanced and overly intense flavor. Honestly, convenience store sweets are much better. The lingering hinoki scent even made it hard to enjoy anything else I ate afterwards, as my appetite was completely gone. The Strawberry Soda, on the other hand, had a subtle strawberry aroma and was quite enjoyable. So, my 1-star rating is for the Kanazashi Strawberry, the cute appearance of the shop, and the Strawberry Soda.

There are chairs inside the store, but it seems to be mainly for takeout. The taste was very refreshing and delicious, but the issue was how to dispose of the trash (ice included) after finishing the drink. I had plans afterwards, so this time I went with a non-alcoholic option, but I would like to try the alcoholic drinks someday.

Strawberry beer! The sweetness and sourness of the strawberry mixed with the bitterness of the beer was interesting! I thought it was cute for a beer, but drinking it during the day didn't seem cute at all. The interior of the shop is light and there is also a cozy eat-in space where you can sit down and relax!

I only had it during the day and felt good, so I bought it on impulse. Strawberry tequila. It was like those small plastic cups for tasting that you often find in liquor stores. It cost 550 yen (lol). The strawberry season is probably ending, but just having half a strawberry with tequila was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

When I mentioned it, my friends agreed to try it. We stumbled upon the sign for Strawberry Tequila again and decided to buy a glass each. Cash only. The drink looked cute with strawberries in it. The shop was small so we took our drinks outside. As soon as we stepped out, the shop closed with a snap. It seemed to be closing time. The lights were turned off. A customer who had bought before us asked if they could throw away their trash. Oh well. I wish we could have thrown away ours too. Cheers! Well... my friend critiqued it. Isn't the tequila weak? Can't really taste the strawberry, right? It's more like syrupy. True... tequila is probably just for flavor. Getting drunk here would be a mess. Well, let's go find somewhere else to drink again! 😉

I stumbled upon a sign for "Strawberry Highball" and was intrigued. The eat-in space had only a bench for three people, which was available, so I sat inside. I chose the Strawberry Smoothie and the Strawberry Highball! The Highball was sweet and delicious, almost like juice and very easy to drink. It was quite interesting. Thank you for the meal!

As a strawberry lover, I couldn't resist buying it... The staff said, "Here is a rich strawberry smoothie." They also mentioned, "You won't find a smoothie with such intense strawberry flavor elsewhere." It had a nice texture with strawberry chunks. It was satisfying to drink. This place is located in Asakusa! I found it while walking around and saw a sign for strawberry smoothie...it caught my eye so I ordered it. It was 650 yen, a bit expensive for a smoothie, but it had 16 strawberries in it so it's understandable. The taste was simple, just frozen strawberries and milk. The sweetness of the strawberries gave it a refreshing sweetness, and the milk was really good! It was different from what I expected, I thought it would be more sour but it wasn't at all. The top part where the strawberries were still frozen was also nice. This might be the most delicious smoothie I've ever had...thank you for the meal. However, if you drink a whole cup of this, it's quite a lot so it might be a bit too much for walking around and eating.

I had some errands in Asakusa and decided to take a stroll around the area. I noticed that some new shops had opened since the last time I visited, which got me excited! I was drawn in by the visuals and ended up buying a strawberry smoothie. Not only did it look good, but it also tasted great. It is a strawberry-focused sweets shop near Asakusa Temple! It was hot, so I stopped by on the way back to the station to eat. I was lured by the sign saying "16 strawberries in one cup" and ordered a smoothie. I had to wait a little for it to be made, but once I received it, I started sipping while walking! Now, how does it taste... Wow, this tastes just like strawberries! They didn't use 16 strawberries for nothing. You can enjoy two types of strawberries - in sherbet form and with the texture of fruit pulp. There is also a milky white substance in it. This cold, sweet and sour, slightly frozen drink is perfect for the upcoming hot weather. There are various other strawberry products available, but what caught my eye was the craft beer. However, since the state of emergency is currently in effect, you can't drink it. Also, even if they were to sell it in bottles, it seems that it is fermenting inside, so there is a risk of explosion if left at room temperature. Therefore, they have to open it and hand it over to you. In any case, you can't buy alcohol until the state of emergency is lifted.

Finally got to try the Strawberry Zushi. Yay! It has strawberry beer and strawberry tequila, but I played it safe with the Dorayaki with strawberries. It looks like a tea towel sushi roll, with soft dough wrapped around soft cream and a big strawberry. I'm not a fan of cream, but the tartness of the strawberry balances it out. It looks Instagram-worthy, but I couldn't capture it well. There are chairs inside, so I could rest my legs and enjoy a drink without alcohol.

I bought a Daifuku Ichigo (strawberry) for 350 yen (excluding tax) at Asakusa Ichigo-za. I also wanted to buy some Warabi Mochi, but they were not available during the New Year holidays, so I ended up just getting the Daifuku Ichigo. However, I found the red bean paste inside a bit too sweet, and I don't think it's worth 350 yen. This shop seems to cater more to tourists.

Located just a 2-minute walk from Asakusa Station Exit 1, near the intersection of Azumabashi Street and Asakusa 2-chome, is the shop "Asakusa Ichigoza." I visited for the first time in the early evening of mid-November. This place specializes in strawberry sweets, much like the popular "Asakusa Menchi" on Denpo-in Street in the same neighborhood. Recently, they opened a second branch in the Rokku area near Denpo-in Street. On this day, feeling thirsty, I decided to try their drink inside the shop, purchasing the "Strawberry Cider" for 480 yen. After paying at the register, I sat down on the traditional Japanese bench seats against the wall and tried it right away. Following the explanation from the staff, I mixed the strawberry syrup at the bottom well before taking a sip. The carbonation with the sweet scent of strawberries bubbling up was delightful. The slightly sweet and sour taste was refreshing and quenched my dry throat. It was a satisfying experience.

Strawberry Smoothie Due to the impact of Corona, the second floor eat-in area was not available, and it was drizzling, so I gave up on the bath-wrapped mochi and opted for a takeout smoothie. You can also eat on the bench in front of the store. There were really plenty of strawberries! As expected, it was made with only milk and the equivalent of 16 strawberries, without using water or ice, so it was rich. It was a smoothie where you could feel the strawberries until the end.
