Lively and great restaurant. The food is delicious. The spicy Motsu stew has tender Motsu and large vegetables, and the broth is so good you'll want to drink it all. The fried horse mackerel is crispy and fluffy, and the wasabi-flavored tartar sauce is tasty. Other dishes like grilled chicken skewers and appetizers are also delicious at this restaurant.

I went to Gokuraku-yu 1010 to relax and then visited this shop. The first beer was delicious! Sour drinks come with a game, and my friend tried the Mega Jockey challenge...! She couldn't handle it all in one go because she's not a big drinker. We had liver sashimi, potato salad, simmered chicken, yakitori, oden, mochi-like tofu, and yakisoba. The liver sashimi was tasty, but the pieces were a bit small, so I wished they were bigger. The potato salad had fried potatoes on the bottom, which I'm not a fan of. The yakitori and other dishes were all delicious! The staff provided great service!

Chicken liver sashimi and yakitori are consistently delicious. I had oden for the first time in a while, and it still had that gentle flavor that satisfied me. The daikon was about twice as thick as I imagined, which was a pleasant surprise (was it always this big?). There were a lot of young customers, and it made me feel energized by reminiscing about my younger self. The fact that it's non-smoking is also a plus.

This is a shop near Kanda Nishiguchi Station. They have interesting challenge orders like rolling a dice for free items or double the portion (with double the price). Their fresh raw liver must be eaten within 10 minutes and it is quite delicious.

Bright and welcoming service, the Chinchirorin highball was great and we had a good time. Surprisingly delicious snacks. Despite being a casual izakaya, the food is solid. The fried chicken was a bit overcooked and the liver sashimi timer was unnecessary! We don't need a timer telling us to finish it in 10 minutes! The kitchen timer is too much, just leave us be! But overall, the food is tasty and affordable, so we'll definitely go back again! LOL

When you come to Kanda, you'll be drawn to the Goro Group. The most calming spot is this Nishiguchi branch. While other shops are near the station, this one is a bit further away at the west exit. It's a casual pub. The signature menu item is the three types of chicken liver sashimi. It's made with low-temperature cooked chicken liver sashimi, served with grated ponzu, green onion salt, and homemade miso seasoning. This goes perfectly with alcohol. They use a stopwatch to remind you to "Please enjoy within 10 minutes, as soon as possible♪". This is a good idea. Having a stopwatch makes you want to follow the rule. The beef tendon stew is hot and delicious. It's a reasonable price and the staff is friendly and energetic. Great atmosphere at this place!

The place was bustling with salarymen after work. It was more of a lively atmosphere with people chatting and enjoying themselves rather than a calm dining experience. The oden and chicken sashimi were delicious. The drinks get cheaper with the Chinchirorin game, making it a cost-effective option for those who enjoy drinking a lot.

The three kinds of liver, beef tendon stew, grilled white liver, potato salad, and smooth chilled tofu were delicious. I've been here three times since my first visit three months ago. The cozy atmosphere is nice, and it's a hidden gem opening at 4 pm on Saturdays. They can even push tables together for groups of 10, which is convenient. My friend tried to go on a weekday night but couldn't get in because it was packed with office workers. Well, it's Kanda after all, so it can't be helped. I'll definitely come back when I feel like having beef tendon and liver again!

I came back to eat yakitori again. The negima skewers are a standout here. The pieces are large. In Kanda, there are many yakitori restaurants like this. They focus on providing a satisfying meal. I also tried the chicken liver and skin, both were delicious. The waitresses are energetic and friendly as always. They have a tipping system at the counter, which may be one reason for their great service. I ordered a large bottle of Akahoshi beer and decided to come back next time. I probably won't stay away for long.

"I tried the 'Inbei Course (¥3500)' with all-you-can-drink drinks after a long time. The 3-point assortment of fresh chicken liver sashimi was quite tasty. However, people around me didn't like liver much, so I ended up eating a lot of liver (laughs). Personally, I found the tsukune (chicken meatball) more delicious than the liver. The crunchy cartilage was good. The black label ruby was delicious, and the two hours passed by quickly. This restaurant is always crowded, so it might be tough without a reservation."

Before the reception, I had an hour to spare. Where to go now? The restaurant near the station was fully booked and couldn't get in. I walked a bit and found a restaurant near where the reception was going to be held, so I went there! I enjoyed tulip beer and raw liver sashimi at Akahoshi for about an hour. Although I wasn't a fan of the flashy photos of yakitori and oden on the sign, I decided to give it a try. The grilled chicken was cheap but juicy and delicious. It might be worth coming here just for the grilled chicken. They often have games where you roll dice and the number corresponds to a discount or a larger serving size for free. It seems like Goro might be the founder, as there was an illustration of him. There was also a QR code to vote for the best staff of the day at the counter, and a young woman was working hard to provide good service. The service was energetic and pleasant. Overall, it's a lovely restaurant, but ordering a variety of dishes can add up in cost. It's better to share with others. They have a good selection of sour cocktails, but not much else in terms of drinks. However, I saw red Hoppy for the first time in a while, so I had to try it! It was delicious! They also had Akita's iburi gakko cream cheese and marinated hatahata, so Goro might be from Akita. Everything was delicious! The food is a bit pricey, but I think it's a wonderful izakaya. I will definitely go back!

I had been curious about this place for a while and decided to drink in Kanda. Despite the state of emergency, they were serving alcohol so I decided to use it as my first stop. I was intrigued by the "New Chicken Liver Sashimi" so I ordered it along with my first drink. I also ordered a variety of skewers and a few other items. The appetizer was interesting, with slices of turnip skewered and grilled with miso sauce. I quite liked it. The skewers were small for the price, so the cost performance was not great. The "New Chicken Liver Sashimi" was not as good as I expected. It was just three different seasonings on low-temperature cooked liver, which was disappointing. They recommended eating them in a specific order, but I'm not sure why. I love ham cutlets, so I ordered the "Man's Ham Cutlet" for 590 yen. It was a thick cutlet, which I appreciated, but there was nothing particularly special about it, and I didn't understand why it was called "Man's Ham Cutlet." The interior and atmosphere of the restaurant were nice, but the staff seemed tired. The female staff members were leaning against the wall and didn't seem very eager to serve customers. The male staff member in the back (maybe a full-time employee?) never spoke to me from the moment I entered until I left. Overall, the food was average, the cost performance was poor, and there was a lack of energy. I had two drinks (two large beers and two mega highballs) and left feeling a bit unsatisfied.

After work, visited a restaurant with company members. Each seat had alcohol for hand disinfection, and ventilation was thorough. The staff were wearing face shields. We played a game where rolling two dice, if a 5 or 6 (Goro) came up, a mega-sized beer was free. If a double number came up, a medium-sized beer was free. If the number was even, the bill was half price, and if it was odd, the amount was doubled and so was the bill. The drinks included in the game were highballs, lemon sours, plum wines, etc. It was fun. Thank you for the meal!

This is a lively izakaya with energetic and hospitable staff. The appetizer was unique and delicious, especially the sauce with it. The specialty low-temperature cooked liver melts in your mouth and comes in three different flavors. The spiced bone-in chicken goes well with drinks. The potato fries are available in three types and I prefer the natural cut ones. We only ordered three dishes this time, but I would like to try more next time. I will definitely visit again. Akikichi, a yakitori restaurant, was out of chicken skin so we switched to something else. We ordered a Hoppy drink but ended up switching to highballs for the dice festival. The negima skewers were huge, we thought we ordered a few but one was enough. I have low red blood cell count so I decided to have some liver as well. Be careful not to overeat. The pork kimchi was very filling. Thank you for the delicious meal!

In November 2020, I visited Goro Kanda Nishiguchi, a popular izakaya, while waiting for my reservation at another restaurant. The atmosphere was lively and the staff, all young women, added a nice touch of charm. I tried their recommended dishes like liver sashimi and fried tulip chicken, but ended up ordering beer, assorted appetizers, and a delicious five-piece chicken oden set. The oden had a variety of ingredients like daikon, egg, and chicken meatballs, all cooked in a rich and flavorful broth that was truly satisfying. While the prices for food were a bit on the higher side, the affordable drinks and the casual, friendly vibe of the izakaya made it a great place to unwind. Overall, I spent 3351 yen for two people and had a pleasant experience at this down-to-earth izakaya. Bravo, Goro!

I visited the shop around 6:30 pm. Although the number of customers seemed to have decreased due to the coronavirus, the area near Kanda is gradually returning to its bustling atmosphere. The shop, which is a casual izakaya, is about half full. I was greeted by a cheerful staff member and invited inside. Alcohol spray is available at each table, but the proximity to other people was a bit concerning. However, the yakitori and side dishes were delicious and reasonably priced. The chewy yakitori made the drinks go down smoothly. Overall, it was a great value for money. I felt like it was a perfect place to casually drop by.

I wanted to have yakitori, but the other menu items were surprisingly delicious. Especially the liver sashimi and simmered dish. The low-temperature liver sashimi will definitely become unavailable in the future, so let's enjoy it. The simmered dish is like a Japanese-style beef stew with a rich flavor that I like.
