I had some spare time in Akabane, so I decided to stop by a random restaurant that caught my eye. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I started with a Skytree Jockey Beer, which went perfectly with their famous spicy hot pork dish. The highlight of the meal was the grilled offal udon, which was so delicious that I was too excited to even take a picture. It was incredibly tasty, in a way that made my heart feel happy rather than just satisfying my taste buds. It was so good that I have never been so impressed by a grilled udon dish before. Thanks to this meal, I left feeling satisfied and happy before heading to the legendary Stamina-ya. I definitely want to go back there if I have the chance. It was truly too delicious! The second stop was at Tetsuichi, where I tried playing Chinchirorin for the first time. It was quite fun, and I even hit the jackpot once, but also got the hardest combination. I was so full. I went to Akabane, the holy land of day drinking. I started at 1pm, but on that Sunday, the bar opened at 11:30am and there were already 3 or 4 groups enjoying themselves. It was a relaxed and nice atmosphere. The draft beer was ice cold and the classic ham cutlet, potato salad, and famous omukatsu were delicious. After that, I moved on to Poppy for the first time in a while. I used to live nearby Akabane 30 years ago, so the main street was nostalgic for me, which was another reason I ended up having a double shot of shochu. It's a great place to enjoy a meal. As a fan of cola, I was happy to see bottled cola on the menu. Next time, I want to try the yakisoba and other teppanyaki dishes. We enjoyed the Akabane drinking atmosphere from the outdoor terrace seating. We spent around 2.5 hours and it cost about 2,200 yen per person. They accept PayPay and various QR payments. When we visited on a Sunday around 13:30 without a reservation, the restaurant was about 80% full. You can make reservations online through Tabelog for both daytime and evening visits. It was a fun debut for our Akabane drinking experience.

We visited with two people on Sunday afternoon. The seats were almost full, showing that it is a popular restaurant. The hot tonkotsu was spicy and delicious. I heard that pets are allowed on the terrace seats, so I thought it would be nice to enjoy with pets in the upcoming season.

I went to Akabane for the first time with some old friends. It was a lively place with a lot of energy. We wanted to try a specific restaurant but it had a long line, so we decided to go to the first available place we found. We ended up at a place with outdoor seating. We had a raw toast and the following dishes: Omukatsu, Shrimp and Avocado Mayonnaise Grill, Macaroni Salad, French Fries, and another dish whose name I forgot. We stayed for about an hour, had two drinks each. The Omukatsu was interesting but the Shrimp and Avocado Mayonnaise Grill was really delicious. One friend left after this, and the remaining three of us went to the next restaurant.

Akabane Higoshu is the second place we visited for a drinking spree. We started off with the complimentary suji pon, which was surprisingly warm and delicious with its fluffy beef tendon soaked in ponzu sauce. The beef motsu miso stew was hearty with plenty of daikon radish and konjac. The grilled squid and eringi mushrooms in butter soy sauce was addictive with its rich and savory flavors. The omu-katsu, a unique concept of egg-wrapped tonkatsu skewers served with sauce and mayo, made the tonkatsu twice as delicious. Toppings like mentaiko were also available. The Marushin gyoza, originally from a famous store in Kyoto, were simple but tasty with thin skins and lots of vegetables. Among the dishes we tried, we particularly enjoyed the grilled squid and eringi in butter soy sauce, suji pon, omu-katsu, and beef motsu miso stew. Despite initial expectations of a chain restaurant, the food here exceeded our imaginations in terms of taste. We look forward to trying the famous hot tonkotsu on our next visit.

The second stop on Akabane solo tour was "Teiichi", a place that stands out but surprisingly my first visit. I ordered a highball. Since I wasn't very hungry, I decided to try the specialty dish of hormone and beef tendon magma stew! It was actually quite delicious! Not as spicy as the name suggests, and it had a good flavor. After that, I had a tomato highball to finish. It was delicious! After leaving the restaurant, I stopped by "Ikoi" for one more drink before heading home. Thank you for the meal.

Visited on a Monday holiday around 1:30 pm with about 15 customers already there. The famous Hot Ton is quite spicy, with a sauce similar to tteokbokki. The spiciness comes on strong but gradually, and it's quite intense, but also addictive and delicious. The grilled edamame is tasty, but nothing special. Honestly, even though it's in Akabane, it's not that cheap, and there seem to be plenty of better restaurants around.

It was midday, perfect for a drink, close to the station, and the staff were kind ☺︎ The omukatsu was delicious! You can pay with Suica.

I stopped by after the GMO festival. It had been a while since I last drank in Akabane, and the menu had a variety of options and was delicious. Next time, I want to go when I'm not drunk to see how it is normally. ^_^

It was incredibly delicious, everything we ordered was a hit!! The restaurant is amazing, but I was surprised that the reviews weren't that good. Maybe it depends on what you order... The chicken skewers were really delicious, as well as the pork belly skewers and the potato and cheese dish!!! Also, the macaroni salad was too tasty.

I ordered a super spicy hot motsu udon as a finishing dish after eating omukatsu. When I asked for a Super Dry beer, a bottle of beer arrived instead of a glass (which I intended to order). Omukatsu seems to be a popular choice here. I might consider revisiting when I crave omukatsu again.

If you have a moment to spare while waiting for someone, this place is perfect for a drink. It's a chain store in the neighborhood, but it's lively and popular with locals. It's located on the right just as you enter the shopping street. You can enjoy a draft beer and motsu-nikomi (simmered tripe) for 810 yen. The all-you-can-drink lemon sour for 30 minutes at 299 yen is amazing too!

It's nice to be able to drink outside. Totton? It's spicy. It's very spicy, so it's better to have cheese or lettuce with it. I ordered shrimp and avocado mayonnaise, but it didn't come, so I couldn't eat it. I'll try it next time. The dumplings are delicious. Thank you for the hot meal.

I stumbled into a shop at the corner in the middle of the street. Although the atmosphere was set with red lanterns, the menu was quite typical for an izakaya. The specialty, hot pork, was surprisingly quite spicy!
