Today, I visited the restaurant seeking something cold before noon, so I chose the chilled chicken soba. When it arrived, I thought to myself, "Oh, this is how it looks!" I mixed in sliced steamed chicken, meat miso, spinach, and other ingredients. The thin straight noodles with sesame-flavored broth and the sweet taste of the meat miso matched well. There was a generous amount of sliced steamed chicken, and it was not dry at all. It was a satisfying bowl with good volume. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Chilled chicken soba: 1000 yen.

I purchased a ticket for salt ramen and half fried rice. There were quite a few customers, so I waited for almost 10 minutes until it was served. The fried rice was impressive. I chose the pickled vegetable fried rice because you can choose the flavor. The taste of the pickled vegetables was good, and I was satisfied with the fluffy rice. The ramen soup was delicious, especially since it had been a while since I had salt ramen, but the noodles were not as good.

Located in Harajuku, "Ore-ryu Shio Ramen Jingumae Store" is just a 4-minute walk from Meiji-Jingumae Station and an 8-minute walk from Harajuku Station. The restaurant has seating for 50 people, including 7 counter seats, 8 tables for 4 people, and 2 tables for 6 people.
I ordered the Cheese Mazesoba for 980 yen. The ordering process involves purchasing a food ticket and then lining up. I chose the normal noodle texture option after some contemplation. There are various toppings available on the table, allowing you to enjoy different flavors.
When the Cheese Mazesoba was served, it lived up to its name of "devilishly delicious." It has a visually appealing, slightly junky appearance. The medium-thick noodles are coated in a rich cheese sauce, which is a dream come true for cheese lovers. The noodles are smooth and chewy, with a satisfying portion size. The large slices of chashu pork also add to the meal. Toppings include cheddar cheese, egg yolk, croutons, menma (bamboo shoots), watercress, and spinach, providing a colorful and enjoyable mix of textures.
Personally, I found the combination of the tableside grated dried bonito and Cheese Mazesoba to be unbeatable. The restaurant also offers value sets for lunch, which I am curious to try. If you're looking for delicious mazesoba in Harajuku, this place comes highly recommended!

I probably won't go there on my own initiative. Please note that I try to comment honestly based on my own feelings to prevent people from making wrong judgments based on reviews. My comments may be a bit extreme at times, but please understand. I mostly praise things. Thank you in advance.

I purchased "Special Ore-style Salt Ramen" and "My Mom's Karaage" using food tickets. The salt ramen comes in three flavors: light, rich, and spicy salt, and I chose the rich flavor. The rich flavor seems to be a matured salt ramen. The cloudy soup is made with chicken bones, pork bones, and leeks in a pressure cooker to bring out the umami (as stated on the website) and has a deep richness with a salt seasoning that doesn't get boring. There are various condiments on the table, such as plum, yuzu pepper, garlic, homemade chili oil, dried seaweed, and grated tororo kelp. It's very enjoyable to change the flavor while using these condiments until the end. The karaage was also delicious, crispy, juicy, and not too heavy in flavor, just the way I like it. With such a wide menu, I would like to try all the dishes. Thank you for the meal!!!

There are many young women and foreigners, just as you would expect in Harajuku. Very popular among foreign tourist groups. They offer a half fried rice set for 1080 yen, as well as ramen with options for rich, firm soup that can be either light, rich, or spicy. The noodles are firm and have a strong chewy texture. They may have a high water content as they are sticky and chewy. The soup is a milky salt pork bone broth, with a mellow and well-balanced salty flavor. You can choose from salt fried rice with options for salt, pickled vegetables, or garlic. It has a flavorful taste with a hint of salt and pepper, complemented by the richness and umami of the soup and lard. The chashu pork is well-seasoned, adding variety to the taste. The strong seasoning with sesame and green onion flavors makes it very appetizing.

I arrived around 1:30 pm and waited for about 15 minutes in line with a few other people. As expected from a popular chain store in Omotesando, there were many foreign tourists as well. I ordered the "My Style Shio Oil Dripping Chicken Set" for 1050 yen. The free topping was a flavored egg. I added a lot of dried seaweed from the table condiments. The soup, despite being salt-based, had a pork bone-like appearance and was thin. The noodles were smooth. It wasn't bad, but it lacked a punch and felt like a chain store. The oil dripping chicken was delicious! (I forgot to take a photo). Good value for money! Thank you for the meal♪

I had a meeting in Harajuku and decided to grab a meal by myself in between. I visited this restaurant, which I have been to several times before in this area. The seasonal "Autumn Cheese Tsukimi" that I wanted was sold out, so I ordered the "Aged Salt Ramen" instead. When I asked the staff about the difference between this and regular salt ramen, they mentioned that this one is creamier, so I chose it. After taking a sip of the soup, I felt like it tasted similar to Sugakiya ramen. And I don't mean that in a bad way at all. Sugakiya is a beloved comfort food for us Nagoya folks. This ramen felt like a luxurious and deep version of that flavor. I really liked the combination of the refreshing saltiness with the creaminess. The tenderness of the chashu and the rich flavor that seeped in were also excellent. Personally, I love the crispy seaweed that this restaurant is known for, and the fact that you can add as much as you want. Overall, I enjoyed my meal very much.

I went around 1 pm on Saturday. There were about 10 people waiting. The restaurant is spacious so the line moves quickly. It's the type where you buy a meal ticket first before lining up. There are so many menu options to choose from! They have lunch sets with fried chicken and dumplings, but I went with the most basic one, "My Style Salt Ramen" for 690 yen. I was surprised by the various condiments on the table, like seaweed, grated yam, chili oil, garlic, yuzu pepper, etc. You can customize your ramen in your own style. The ramen that was served was okay when I tried the soup, but the noodles were not that great, kind of rubbery... It's like a slightly better version of food court ramen. But, this flavor is something that everyone can enjoy! It's fun to be able to customize the taste at the table. The portion size is not that big, so I recommend getting a large portion or extra noodles. It seems to be popular among foreigners too, as the staff at the reception spoke English. Overall, the location and price make it quite convenient. Thank you for the meal!

I used it for lunch on 6/13/2022. Ore Salt Ramen Jingumae Store. I arrived at the store just before 12:30 on a weekday. The inside of the store was almost full. I ordered...Ore Aged Salt Ramen with Karaage SetOre Salt Ramen with Takana Don SetThe karaage in the karaage set was served with five large pieces. The table toppings included dried seaweed, grated yam, pickled plum, yuzu pepper, Ore Chili Oil, Ore Marinated Garlic, all of which were delicious and I ended up trying various flavor combinations haha. I hope this information is helpful.

I visited the restaurant around noon on a weekday. I ordered the tsukemen, and when ordering, you can choose the amount of noodles, the firmness of the noodles, and the type of soup (light, rich, spicy) (I ordered medium, medium, rich). The restaurant was not crowded, and the tsukemen arrived in about 10 minutes. The thick noodles paired well with the salt-based soup. However, it wasn't as rich as I had expected. There were various toppings on the table such as nori seaweed, grated yam, pickled plum, and yuzu pepper, allowing me to enjoy different flavor changes as I pleased.

Cheese Mazesoba ^^ The Mazesoba here has a unique taste, not the usual kind. I also added some shiso gyoza. It's not bad, but it didn't exceed my expectations haha. It's really just average. But what I can appreciate is that there are a lot of toppings for flavor variation! This is great for people like me who don't like eating the same flavor all the time. The shiso gyoza is just okay haha.

Spicy salt ramen for ¥730. The toppings included white negi, thickly sliced negi, and char siu. I was asked about the firmness of the noodles and the level of spiciness, so I ordered normal firmness and a light spiciness. First, I tried the soup, which was clear with a strong spiciness, reminiscent of Nagoya's Taiwanese ramen. The noodles were like semi-transparent cold noodles, delicious enough to finish all the soup. Thank you for the meal.

Matured Salt Ramen ¥690
At first, I thought I would go with the salt ramen, but the staff recommended the matured salt ramen, so I decided to try it. The soup was a rich white broth that was incredibly delicious when mixed. The curly thin noodles were topped with char siu, menma, white negi, spinach, and yuzu menma, which had a unique and firm matchstick-like shape. Adding the rock seaweed on the table was a nice touch. The plum paste was refreshing, and the marinated garlic was tasty. It had been a while since I finished a bowl of soup completely, leaving only fish powder behind. I should have mixed it well and finished it. I would like to try the clear salt ramen next time.

I usually only go to the Kagurazaka branch, but I tried the one in Harajuku this time! Melo is delicious as always~ I think it's been about 4 years since I last had this warm tantanmen, so I'm happy to eat it again~ My stomach was full, and I remember eating it before a class experiment and falling asleep in the lab, so be careful! (Maybe just me and My Melody?)

On a hot day, I was drawn to a cold ramen shop. It seemed to specialize in salt ramen, but the menu was extensive and everything looked quite delicious, so I was a little torn. I ended up ordering the spicy salt cold ramen, which had four different levels of spiciness: salt, yuzu salt, plum yuzu salt, and spicy salt. I chose the spicy salt because I felt like having something spicy. It came with plenty of vegetables, chicken chashu, half-boiled egg, and a light broth. The taste was as expected, with a strong salt flavor. The spicy salt was quite spicy, and the heat accumulated as I ate, making it a bit tough towards the end. I realized after I started eating that there were various condiments available for customization, so maybe it would have been better to stick to a more basic flavor. It was decently tasty, and if this shop was nearby, I would be quite happy, but it wasn't a taste that would make me go out of my way to visit again.

Yuzu Spicy Salt Ramen (from vending machine for 980 yen) + Draft Beer (520 yen). I ordered the noodles firm and arrived just before 9 pm to find a line of about 20 people. After about 20 minutes, I reached the vending machine and entered the shop. There were many recommendations, so I had a hard time choosing (it was my first visit). I relaxed with a cold beer while waiting for my order. When my "Yuzu Spicy Salt Ramen" arrived, it was beautifully presented. The thin curly noodles had a great texture and tasted delicious! The yuzu salt had a perfect balance of yuzu flavor. The spicy flavor was different from the yuzu and pleasantly stimulating! The toppings of mizuna, soft-boiled egg, and tender chashu were all excellent! I also tried the recommended "1. Rock Nori" and then the "2. Tororo Kombu" on the table. I wanted to order extra noodles, but it was late at night so I resisted, leaving it for next time. Thank you for the meal.

As I was walking along the back streets of Harajuku, I stumbled upon a place called "My Style Salt Ramen." I peeked inside and saw that there were some empty seats, so I decided to give it a try. They had a ticket machine by the entrance where you could purchase your meal ticket. The menu options were all very enticing, such as "Manly Garlicky Ramen," "Devilishly Delicious Cheese Mazemen," and "My Style Customizable Cold Ramen." In addition to these, they also had lunch sets like the "My Style Lunch." After some hesitation, I ended up choosing the "Outstanding Aged Chicken Ramen (1,000 yen)." The interior of the restaurant had a counter in an L-shape with plenty of table seating. There was also a terrace where smoking was allowed. The Outstanding Aged Chicken Ramen arrived, with slightly wilted seaweed on top. The thin curly noodles paired well with the rich soup, and the dish was filled with lots of ingredients, making it quite satisfying. I learned that they had a variety of menu options, so I'm looking forward to trying their tsukemen next time. On a nice day, I recommend sitting on the terrace.

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was very good! The lively vibe of the staff, unique to ramen shops, was really nice and made the ramen taste even better. The open feel of the place, with no doors, also created a sense of spaciousness and I felt that they were taking good measures to prevent overcrowding and maintain safety. The taste of the ramen, as the name of the shop suggests, was truly original and different from the usual salt ramen you find at chain stores. It's a taste that's hard to describe, so I recommend trying it for yourself if you're curious.

I went to Ore-ryu Shio Ramen for the first time! I tried their famous Otokomori Jinguumae, which was a salt ramen with creamy soup, unlike regular salt ramen! It was a unique taste that I've never experienced before! It was very delicious.
