A few days ago, I visited and ate at Omoteura Black, which I really liked, so I decided to revisit to try all the discounted items. We arrived around 8 pm, with about 5-6 customers before us and 3-4 customers after us. We ordered tantanmen, Omoteura Black, yakisoba, and added Mega Karaage. The tantanmen and Omoteura Black were served in less than 10 minutes, and while we were eating, the Mega Karaage and yakisoba were also served. The tantanmen had a rich sesame-based soup with spiciness and a numbing effect from the sansho pepper, very tasty. The Omoteura Black was delicious as always. The yakisoba was a bit sweet with a nice oyster sauce flavor. The Mega Karaage was a flat fried chicken. It seemed a bit bland, maybe because my taste buds were numb from the soup or it was lightly seasoned. I tried dipping it in the tantanmen and Black soup, and it tasted even better. They offer 3 types of thin noodles, all good, but personally, I still prefer the Omoteura Black. (December 2022)

I found a shop that specializes in spicy ramen. Inside the shop, there were signatures of various famous people, and they also offer extra-large portions. I tried the Antarctic Ramen (with half-fried chicken topping), and it was incredibly spicy. It is a hearty ramen in the style of a family recipe. I have tried many spicy ramen dishes before, but this one surpassed them all.

I racked my brain to find a place that was open until late, and ended up at this place. I remembered they used to serve cold noodles around this time, but unfortunately they were sold out. So, I decided to try their seasonal cold tantan noodles instead. It was lighter in volume compared to regular ramen, and perfect for hot weather with its refreshing taste. I thought it could have been a bit spicier, so I added some chili pepper on my own from the table. Overall, it was delicious and I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal!

First visit. I saw a competitive eater on YouTube eating Stamina Soba with meatballs and it looked delicious, so I ordered it. It seems to be a limited menu item, so I'm glad I came before it ended. The combination with white rice was excellent as it looks. The soup had a hint of yakiniku sauce. The topping of fried chicken was very delicious, so I plan to add more toppings next time I come. I also want to try the regular ramen menu.

DX Half Size for 700 yen. Last month, I had the best dining experience at Takanotsume in Gyotoku, but I found a similar restaurant nearby and decided to try it out. It was empty since Obon. I ordered the Half Size with the same spiciness level as Takanotsume, including garlic. The portion was a bit small for me. The taste was almost the same as the Gyotoku restaurant, delicious, but it didn't evoke the same level of excitement as before.

I thought I couldn't handle such a huge portion. I struggled with the ticket machine, as I'm not a fan of spicy food. Following the "top left" rule, my order was served in just 3 minutes. The soup had a strong soy sauce flavor that didn't overpower the sweetness of the meat. The amount of pepper was quite bold, maybe a bit too much. The rice was a perfect addition. I noticed some interesting toppings like a single piece of fried chicken. I'll study more and visit again.

Visited at 2:30 pm with one person first and three people later. I was torn between "Ankake DX" and "Umakara Miso Ramen DX". I couldn't quite tell the difference at first glance, so I asked the staff. "Ankake DX" is a pork bone-based dish with fried eggplant on top. "Umakara Miso Ramen DX" is a miso-based dish with ground meat on top. I decided to go with Ankake DX this time. The fried chicken on top is freshly fried each time an order is placed and then served. It was juicy and hearty, perfect with rice. There was also a good amount of bean sprouts. As for the "spiciness," I visited for the spicy food, but it turned out to be almost zero spice level. I chose the spiciness level of "Takanotsume," but it seemed not spicy at all. Maybe they forgot to add the chili peppers? Or perhaps Ankake DX is just not meant to be spicy? The soup lacked richness and was a bit unsatisfying. The noodles were thick and had a good texture. The restaurant offers a time service from 3 pm to 6 pm on weekdays. I will definitely try the miso option next time without hesitation!

I think it was Anka DX that I saw on Tabelog and it looked delicious, so I decided to go. When I arrived at the storefront, I found out that Curry DX and Curry Tsukemen were back. It was my first time at this restaurant, but I wanted to try the Curry Tsukemen. I ordered the medium size with normal vegetables. After trying it, I thought it was very delicious. They managed to make the Curry Pork Noodles, which I didn't find tasty at another restaurant in Daimon before, taste delicious. The dipping sauce was hot, and personally, I prefer a stronger curry flavor, but the balance was good and this taste was also delicious. The dipping sauce was so hot that I felt like I needed water when I left the noodles in it. This dipping sauce also goes well with fried chicken. The crispy outside and tender inside fried chicken paired well with the curry-flavored dipping sauce, and when eaten with the noodles, the crispy texture of the fried chicken added to the taste. The bean sprouts also helped to refresh the palate, balancing out the overall heaviness of the dish. It seems like it's a limited time revival, so even though I didn't try the regular menu this time, I thought it was so delicious that I might try this and the Curry DX before it's gone. I was so focused on eating that I missed the mahjong game in the background.

I thought I could handle more spiciness, so I added extra chili peppers midway through. The karaage was incredibly delicious! I want to go back again. I had been wanting to visit Omoteuribiyori for a while. I had been to the Ichigaya branch before, but it had already moved... I finally had the opportunity to visit this time, and I ordered the most popular dish with extra vegetables. It looked like a ramen dish from the Jiro style, very appetizing. The soup, despite its appearance, was not very spicy, with no numbing sensation. I lifted the noodles from the bottom, mixed them well with the soup, and took a bite. It wasn't as strong as I had imagined, but it had a deliciously spicy flavor. Despite its appearance, I finished it all in no time. Personally, I prefer stronger flavors, but this was good.
