The Indian restaurant was not your typical Indian curry place, but rather a trendy Indian restaurant with a menu similar to those found in the city. I ordered a set that came with two types of curry, naan, and salad for 1000 yen. The presentation and taste were exceptional, with the naan being fluffy and crispy on the edges, making it very delicious.

Order: Curry Lunch (Mutton Curry) 900 yen
Evaluation of food and drink:
Salad: The salad mainly consists of shredded cabbage with lettuce and carrots. The cabbage is very crunchy and has a good texture. The dressing is Japanese-style with a sesame flavor, which was also delicious.
Naan: It is freshly baked, which is a nice touch. When you take a bite, you can taste the aroma of wheat, a hint of sweetness, and it is delicious. It has both a chewy and crispy texture, making it enjoyable.
Mutton Curry: The curry has a generous amount of mutton chunks, providing a satisfying meal. It has a spicy and complex flavor that pairs well with the slightly sweet naan.
Evaluation of the restaurant and service:
The interior is stylish, unlike typical curry restaurants, and it is clean. It was quite crowded on the day of the visit, so it may have contributed to the several calls needed to place an order, with each time being asked to wait a bit. From entering to ordering and receiving the meal, it took some time, so people in a hurry should be cautious. However, the service was polite.
Revisit: Despite the long wait for the food, the dishes were delicious, and I would like to visit again.

I visited for lunch. I ordered a set of two types of curry with a lunch lassi for an additional 200 yen. I chose medium spiciness level. The daily special was chicken curry with cheese, and the chicken was tender. The combination of cheese and curry was perfect. The mutton curry was also good without any strong flavors. The naan bread was served generously, and refills were also available. If you're looking for a good curry in the Kura area, this is a great choice. Thank you for the meal!

There is an Indian curry restaurant in front of Kuramae Station. I decided to try the Butter Chicken Curry, which is very popular. The lassi is also delicious. You can have unlimited servings of naan! I want to try the Keema Curry next time.

I arrived at this highly rated restaurant in Kuramae for lunch earlier than its opening time, but they kindly let me in. I chose the Deluxe Lunch (1,200 yen including tax) which includes two types of curry with chicken and free naan refills. The salad was fresh and delicious, with a generous amount of dressing. The naan was large and had a crispy and chewy texture, warm and tasty. I chose the medium spiciness for the curries. The Saag Chicken Curry was mild and had a spinach base with plenty of chicken pieces. The chicken curry was also delicious, with a slightly spicy and flavorful taste. I ended up ordering too many chicken dishes, but the naan refill helped balance it out. The quality of the naan refill was just as good as the first serving. The restaurant had a stylish cafe-like atmosphere, different from typical Indian eateries, making it a great spot for a date. There is also a second floor seating area with a decent capacity. The staff were foreigners, which may have contributed to their flexible and accommodating service. Overall, I had a comfortable and enjoyable lunch experience. The whole process from entering to finishing the meal took 50 minutes. Payment is cash only. Highly recommended.

I was passing by a café and felt like having a burger and shake at a burger joint. However, it was full, so I wandered around. Many popular restaurants in Kappabashi are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. As I walked past, a customer came out of a curry restaurant, catching my attention. I decided to stop and check it out. The restaurant offered a variety of curries from different regions like North and South India, Sri Lanka, and Tibet. I ordered the butter chicken lunch set, which came with a different salad dressing than usual. The salad was fresh and crunchy. The main dish took a while to arrive, but when it did, the butter chicken was flavorful and satisfying. The naan bread was soft and slightly sweet, complementing the curry well. I also added tandoori chicken for an extra 100 yen, which was a pleasant surprise. The chicken was tender and not too spicy. Although they didn't have mango lassi, I enjoyed a chai tea that was mild and easy to drink. Overall, it was a great experience and I would love to visit this Indian restaurant again.

I used this restaurant for lunch by myself. They have tables and counters, so I think it can be used by families, individuals, or even for dates. I ordered the chicken set. The curry was delicious, of course, but the chicken was so tasty that I had a very enjoyable time. I would like to visit this place again.

I happened to have some business in Kuramae and passed by this restaurant for lunch. It seems like they have a lot of takeout customers, as I saw people waiting outside with their arms crossed. The inside of the restaurant had some empty seats, but it quickly filled up. I ordered the lunch set where you can choose one type of curry. I chose the mild chicken curry made with nuts. It came with naan or rice, and a salad. For an extra 200 yen, you could get a drink, so I ordered a lassi. The curry was mild with a rich nutty flavor. It had a good texture and plenty of chicken pieces. The naan was quite light, maybe because it wasn't heavily buttered on the surface. The lassi was thick and very sweet! It seemed like the staff were mainly focused on handling the takeout orders, which made the dine-in customers wait longer. It's probably the fate of a popular restaurant to have a lot of orders and make customers wait. But if you live nearby, you would definitely become a regular customer.

It's a stylish Indian curry restaurant with a surf vibe that's different from the typical Indian curry places in the area. The curry is delicious and the chai is authentic. The interior is clean and the atmosphere is different from your usual neighborhood Indian curry spot. #IndianCurry #Chai #Taito-ku #Kuramae

I had curry and naan at a curry restaurant located right by the south exit of Kuramae Station. It was not your typical sketchy curry place, but rather a stylish one, with a Brooklyn-like interior and exterior. The bright sunlight coming in from the main street and the high ceiling made it a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy curry.

■Order: Curry lunch for 800 yen with an additional 200 yen for a drink. There were 6 types of curry to choose from including daily special, keema, sag chicken, etc. I chose the sag chicken curry. I added a hot chai as my drink. The naan was large! And it had a nice buttery aroma. It was generously buttered. Just being placed on the table, the aroma wafted over. It's large and apparently you can have unlimited refills. The sag chicken curry was relatively mild. It might be a bit lacking for those who prefer a richer sag flavor. The chai was quite spicy and delicious.■Notes: The restaurant has a high ceiling and a bar-like atmosphere. It's a very stylish curry shop. It had been a few years since I last visited, but I remember there were photos of the sea and the staff had a surfer vibe. The curry was richer and the naan had a more satisfying texture back then, and it was incredibly delicious.

I ordered the Chicken Plate Lunch (tax included 950 yen)! I asked for the 5th spicy level curry even though the menu only goes up to 4, and they said they could make it. The naan is huge as always. It's delicious even on its own. The lamb curry came with about 4 big chunks of meat. It's still spicy but I can handle it. Maybe even up to level 10! The chicken tikka is also delicious as always. I always order it. I asked for a refill of naan, and they brought me 6 more pieces! They're still huge. I even asked if that was really just half. It was delicious and I'm full now. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the restaurant around 3:20 and slid in just before closing time. There were two employees who appeared to be Indian or Nepalese. There were no other customers. Despite it being close to closing time, the service was very polite. I ordered a set that included two types of curry. I asked the employee which was the spiciest, and they recommended the Lamb Curry with level 3 spiciness. For the second curry, I chose the Chicken Curry with medium spiciness and added cheese on top. The freshly made naan was crispy on the outside and delicious. The Chicken Curry with cheese had a nice balance of spices and flavors, with the cheese making it milder. The Lamb Curry was flavorful and had a good amount of lamb, but it wasn't very spicy. The employees seemed to be from the region, but they may have intentionally made the dishes milder for Japanese customers. The flavors were great, so next time I'll order level 2 mild and level 3 medium spiciness.

I stopped by for lunch at Daily's Muffin Kurae Sayu on my way back from shopping, which is located right nearby. I love Indian curry, so I may be biased, but it was delicious. I always order mutton curry, and it was tasty here too. The menu may be a bit confusing, but that doesn't affect the quality. Thank you for the meal.

Had dinner in Kura-mae. Chose this restaurant for the meeting, a bit uneasy as there is no partition between tables. Customers on both sides. Taking off the mask only when putting food in my mouth. There was a child with us, a bit challenging. Wanted to eat quickly and leave, but felt relieved when both sides left. Ordered spiciness level 2, but got used to it quickly. Seafood was cut into small pieces, not my preference. First time at this kind of restaurant. The cheese naan was huge and couldn't finish it all. Happy about that! Love cheese naan.

On my day off, I felt like eating naan and curry, so I visited this restaurant. It was my second time visiting, as I had been there a few years ago. I ordered the Curry Lunch Set (2 types of curry) for 950 yen, which included naan, chicken curry, vegetable curry, and salad. I did not order the drink set for 200 yen this time. The naan was large and slightly sweet, with a chewy texture. The curry was mildly spicy as I ordered, making it easy to eat even for children. The restaurant is small but clean, with a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy for a woman dining alone to feel comfortable.

This is my second visit. The restaurant is run by an Indian person who speaks fluent Japanese. I visited for lunch and could choose between naan and rice. I chose naan. The curry can be chosen from 5 levels of spiciness, but there are also non-spicy options. Even the slightly spicy one felt quite hot, so it's better to try different levels. The taste is exceptional, so I definitely want to go back again.

- The Hyderabadi tomato and hot chicken curry with sweet potatoes stood out with their intense spiciness, which was actually quite sweet.
- When ordering four types of curry with spinach and prawn, the spinach is a must-have.
- I really like lentil-based curries like the Dal Tadka with lentils and chickpeas.
- The seafood curry, rich in umami and slightly spicy, had a strong flavor profile. I ordered four half-size curries with a spice level of 4, but they weren't overly spicy. I also got regular-sized naan and garlic rice. I usually get takeout for lunch, but it had been a while since I came for dinner. I also got a lemon sour to start things off, haha.

I had lunch yesterday at an Indian curry restaurant in Kuramae called "BLISS". The exterior of the restaurant is modern and stylish, unlike typical Indian or Pakistani restaurants. I arrived a bit before the opening time of 11:30 and was able to enter as the "OPEN" sign was already up. The restaurant has counter seats and individual seats, and I was seated at an individual table. I ordered the Chicken Plate (¥950) which came with a small tandoori chicken as I was worried the curry portion alone might not be filling enough. The salad was served first, followed by the main dish after a short wait. The chicken was flavorful and satisfying, and the curry had a mild, Japanese-friendly taste. The naan bread was large and fulfilling, making the price reasonable for an extra serving. The payment could be made with PayPay, making it a convenient and comfortable dining experience. Overall, it is a great place for a casual curry lunch.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on a Sunday with one other person. I ordered the curry lunch set which included a choice of curry, and I chose the spinach curry. I opted for naan instead of rice. The salad that came before the curry was a typical sesame dressing salad, nothing special. The naan was large and freshly baked, which was nice. The spinach curry I ordered was not too spicy despite choosing medium spiciness, and it had a strong sweetness to it. It wasn't bad, but the sweetness made it hard to eat with the sweet naan. My companion ordered the butter chicken curry which was slightly spicy due to choosing extra spicy, and it had a strong tomato flavor. It wasn't bad either, but not outstanding. I mixed a little of both curries and dipped the naan in it, and it turned out to be delicious. The sweetness of the spinach curry was balanced by the tomato acidity of the butter chicken curry, creating a perfect blend. After mixing all the remaining curry together, we finished it all. I don't understand why this restaurant has a rating of 3.5 or higher on food review sites. I wouldn't recommend it to others, but it's decent for the price and not bad overall. I don't think I will visit again.
