It had been a while since I wanted to visit this place, so I set out from Harajuku and walked towards it... However, since I had only been there once before a long time ago, I couldn't remember exactly how to get there. Therefore, I walked while looking at Google Maps. Along the way, I was a bit confused thinking, "Was this the right way?" but I followed the directions and eventually found it. Later, I found out that this route was apparently for intermediate level walkers!? I revisited without much delay, and this time, I went straight from Omotesando to the road between Marimekko and a primary school, then turned right when I saw Natural Lawson, and that's how I remembered the way. Now I won't get lost! The reason I wanted to go to this place was because someone else had posted about the dog-shaped marzipan and I really wanted to try it! I managed to find my way there, and I entered the store. A lovely lady welcomed me and guided me to a seat in the back, where I found a cozy atmosphere with antique lamps and tables, giving off a charming vibe like a room in a foreign apartment. I sat at a large table, looked at the menu, and ordered the dog-shaped marzipan along with a coffee. If I had been hungry, I would have wanted to try the eel pilaf, but that will be for next time (I will review it separately later). The lady mentioned that the marzipan comes in different faces, so I chose the dog in the middle. The marzipan dog on a tray was brought to me, and it was very intricately made. It felt a bit raw at first, which was different from the crispy texture I remembered from eating marzipan on top of Christmas cakes as a child. However, it was delicious with a chewy softness like gum. The coffee was also refreshing and tasty. On my way out, the lady asked me where I came from, and I explained it to her. She said, "Ah, that's the intermediate level route," which made me realize it. Thanks to her, I didn't get lost on my way back. Next time, I plan to go back for a meal and try the eel pilaf. It was a delightful experience. Thank you for the meal.
